From the moment we walked into Butterfly Kisses Pavilion we fell in love with the venue. We did not ask for much... just for a stress-free wedding and absolutely no white at the venue. Nonetheless, we were stressed out, lied to, and received white flowers that were disposed of from the wedding the night before. If I did not have mutual friends on Facebook, you would have pocketed almost $1300 for flowers/ greenery we never received (Since everything was reused from the day before). Thank God I have trustworthy friends that look out for me. Something you did not do for my husband and I on our wedding day. Thanks for the refund on the flowers though. As for the wedding day management services that you promised to refund in full ($700) and only did half. Please keep the money as you obviously need it more than me. I just do not think it is fair that you are lying to the other people on the reviews saying you only promised half. Laura, You, and Me talked on the phone together when you promised to refund me in FULL. In the text messages between you and the bride (who's wedding was the day before ours) you said, "I did struggle with timing of my day and will admit I used boutonnieres that I found to eliminate the need to put together a few less than I had to do." Katrina- we did not want any white in the wedding. You reused ALL the flowers/greenery from Laura's wedding on June 4th, 2022. Moving on, you said directly "I cannot coordinate back-to-back weddings and do flowers and lighting. I had too much on my plate that caused me to not perform my best for that second couple" MY HUSBAND AND I WERE THE SECOND COUPLE. It will forever upset me that our wedding was just dollar signs to you. AFTER MY WEDDING KATRINA POSTED THE PICTURE OF MY HUSBAND AND I AND DELETED IT BECAUSE SHE CLAIMED THE WORK OF ANOTHER FLOREST FOR THE FLOWERS SHE DISPOSED OF AND REUSED FOR MY WEDDING. QUOTE FROM KATRINA:"Regarding claiming the flowers, I definitely shouldn't have done so with those images. I removed the post immediately when you pointed it for both reasons of not knowing what we would say to each other but also because that image didn't have my work in it." She admitted that it was not her work, but MY HUSBAND AND I PAID FOR HER WORK. Again, this is untrustworthy of a business, and she committed fraud. Did I mention the stressful part yet? As she mentioned in the texts messages that our wedding was not a priority, we did not receive the lights we wanted or a rehearsal before the wedding. If a meeting 20 minutes prior to the ceremony is professional to any person getting married here than so be it. But we arrived 3 and a half hours prior to the ceremony to REHEARSE the wedding, but the venue was not even close to being ready yet. My day was falling apart right between my eyes. So Katrina- PLEASE stop lying to the other people that left reviews saying this has been resolved. Laura and I will never forget what you did to us. IT WILL LIVE WITH US FOREVER. My wedding day was beautiful, but the services you provided were unprofessional and sneaky. TO WHOMEVER IS PLANNING A WEDDING AT BKP PLEASE READ: Katrina is a very kind person, but her wedding day services cannot be trusted. The venue is perfect for your big day and the opportunity for pictures is great. But her management skills were unreliable as mentioned above and she is not trustworthy. There is a Parterre in the back ( garden ) for special events or intimate group settings . I can visualize the beautiful gardens in the Spring . I was here in January and the grounds were nice and green . (And they should be with allllllll the rain they've had)

There was gook on the office chair; fingerprints all over the door including the lock plate as well as orange stains on the wall and light switches. Someone isn't doing the bare minimum of cleaning. The restroom was the grossest. The shower had several hairs belonging to someone else; the shower walls were dirty; and the area around the show had a buildup of gunk and dust so I don't think that area in the room had ever been cleaned. The shampoo; conditioner and soap containers were not filled. To make the stay worse my room was noisy as it overlooked the pool and was outside of the elevator so I heard every conversation and commotion that occurred in the hall area. Breakfast was to be ready by 6:30am but it wasn't. The woman in charge was complaining about missing items from a locked refrigerator and seemed upset that people were consuming the food and beverages. Isn't that the point of breakfast. I will not stay at this Holiday Inn again.

Things are new, they're still finishing up some small things as Covid and red tape slowed reconstruction. My room was clean, I appreciated the tile floor vs carpet, my personal preference. The staff was friendly and helpful. Due to Covid they aren't offering a hot breakfast like they normally do, but have wrapped pastries, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, reheatable sausage biscuits, etc that you can bag up and bring back to your room. Normally would have eggs, sausage/bacon, pancakes. At other times they have a small retail area with sodas, juice, snacks etc for purchase as reasonable prices. There is a small fitness center that I forgot to take a picture of, a guest laundry with one large washer and dryer. They do have a meeting room for guest use, not sure what the restrictions are during Covid times. It's located near a CVS, Walgreens, Gas station, several bank branches, and a supermarket within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

It was around 3pm and the place closes at 5pm. She didn't acknowledge us at all until I said good afternoon, she responded "yes". I said good afternoon how are you. She told us that you tour the place on your own and that was fine. My dad was wearing his Veteran hat and I told her that he was a WWII Veteran. She thanked him for his service and wasn't at all sincere in saying it. It seemed like she was obligated to say that. Then proceed to vacuum. It was so loud that we couldn't hear the "only " video playing. Worse tour ever. The planes are amazing!!!!
