It is hard to rate donut places because so much is alike in these locally owned ones…read more These are not Krispy Kreme or Southern Maid. We do like this one best in all of Marshall for several reasons: 1) they make here a huge Apple fritter which no one else we have seen does. 2) the owner was nice and just gave us a donut to try since it was our first time in....see, people notice this stuff. 3) the bread, the croissant, was baked in such a way it was thinner and crispier and better than what we have tried at other places. 4) and last, the name is "Dragon Donut!" ....I would go to Dragon Donut any day over places named royal or palace or whatever...just because "Dragon" is in the name.
