The smell of flowers immediately hits you along with a sense of nostalgia. This time around, Mother's Day was coming up and I looked at the arrangements. The lady assisting me was more than happy to inform me on the options available for flowers on the arrangement I was interested in. You are able to pick your own rose color and type of flower that is included. This was scheduled to be a delivery to my moms job. She took down all the needed information and delivery was at a reasonable price! She asked the time I would like the delivery to be. She pointed me to this small desk with stationary items that contained note cards for the occasion and you are able to write your personal message if you'd like. This place is awful. So here it goes..... I'm in this town for work and looking for a flower shop so I can grab a short floral arraignment to place in my hotel room. I walk in and the owner I assume is on the phone and doesn't even acknowledge me. I look around and this "floral shop" has more teddy bears and stuffed animals then flowers! So once the lady gets off the phone I tell her what I'm looking for and she has NOTHING!!!! Ugly long stem roses or carnations....only. No, orchids, tulips, peonies, stargazer lilies, hydrangeas, calla lily, I went through my entire favorite flowers list! She barely was able to find a short square glass vase for me......I ended up picking the yellow roses which she cut down to fit into the vase but absolutely no filler around the vase, just an ugly green Styrofoam brick to hold the roses with. I think I paid 35 buck or maybe 40 for the arraignment. Most flower shops are elegant, romantic, artistic or have some kind of "je ne sais quoi" about them , this place looks like an abandon office space full of items won at a local fair......and a few flowers here and there... This was my first time ever going to this shop, as we're looking around we finally see the lady working there in all black and a young guy. As we're getting closer I heard the guy tell her "there's a customer" and the lady turns around just to completely walk away to the back of the store and as she does so she said "absolutely disgusting.".
