Loved the coffee. Just make sure when you're here for Wild West Hacking Festival you give yourself PLENTY of time because this place is always busy, but even more so during the con. Stumbled upon a glass blowing session, so that made waiting for my coffee totally worth it.

We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon on an everything bagel and one with sausage on a plain bagel. They were both so tasty and filling! I had a caramel latte with almond milk that was also very good. The ambiance was so fun when the blown glass artwork around to purchase. Would recommend!

Tucked away in the center of Deadwood is this gem of a coffee shop and deli. We had lovely sandwiches and tasty coffee in this retro old gas station environment. Staff was friendly and we got prompt service. Deadwood has a plethora of options centered on gambling and alcohol; this is a nice alternative.

Pump House is one of the more unique coffee shops in Deadwood taking up most of an old service station. They offer espresso drinks and food along the main drag in town. Parking is limited on site so you may need to walk. The coffee menu is extensive with many favorite options. Food rotates and looks to be more lunch and snack items. On my visit I had an espresso and a toffee cake. The espresso was nice but the toffee cake was really good. It had a nice rich flavor. The interior was fun and funky with lots of old gas station decor. Seating is decent inside with a small patio outside if weather permits. There was an issue with the payment system on my trip but staff let me enjoy my food while they fixed it so that helped. I always make a point to find small independent coffee places on trips. This led me to Pump House. It's a little slower and smaller than a big place but it gives you time to stop and enjoy the local experience.

I got bagel with cinnamon and raisin bagel and I also a salted maple mocha. I like the decor and glassblowing is very artistic

Some of the best cappuccino we have had on our trip across the western states. Along with great coffee, they have a selection of breakfast items that were quite good. Definitely a good start to the day.

    Happy me!

Quirky and fun. Excellent espresso. 4 days and nights in Deadwood--motel/hotel coffee doesn't work for me; I know I'm way-too-picky! I highly recommend this coffee/plus shop.

This was a cool little coffee shop that is not like any other I've been in before. It's an old converted gas station with a cool vintage look and feel to it. My cappuccino was very good and I really liked the vibe here.

Of the 3 coffee spots I tried in Deadwood Pump House was definitely the best. I believe they don't have oat milk (nor did any of the others) so, if memory serves me, I had an almond milk latte with sugar free hazelnut which was very good. My husband's espresso was also very good. The cashier had some trouble (wasn't super "with it") but got the job done and was pleasant. I appreciate the outdoor seating. There's a bit of indoor seating as well and lovely displays of blown glass art which is for sale. Oh, and super cute converted gas station.

The experience from beginning to finish was as follows…read more.. We enter, unsure whether to seat ourselves, and are asked, albeit almost silently, to pick a table of our liking. And upon choosing a table, we were given menus by our server, who didn't have a name tag, so I couldn't reference her specifically, and asked to select a drink. After getting water, we eagerly wait for 15-ish minutes for our waitress to take our order. After placing our order of two burgers, nothing special, we waited patiently for our food. Keep in mind, we arrived at 8:10, 50 minutes before closing. We then waited 30 minutes for our burgers, only getting a light apology after 25. Upon receiving our food, we were FAMISHED, and it tasted good! But I think practically everything tastes good when you're hungry, am I right?!? After GOBBLING our burgers down, we received the check at approximately 9:05, and the waitress was eagerly looking at the screen when we politely left a tip justifiable for the service. I'm one always to tip a server, even if the service isn't the best. At the end, we were sent off with an "okay" and nothing more. I'm not one to complain, but a thank-you would've been nice since we weren't rude to her about the insane wait time. Ultimately, be warned: when you come here, it's a cute place to take family when passing through, but not when you're on a time crunch. In short, the food is pretty good, somewhere between 6/7 out of 10, but the service was very subpar, leaving us with a sour taste in our mouths.

Came on a weekday for lunch. Service is average to slow and there were only a few people inside…read more Prices range from $12 lunch weekday specials to $15-25 for full entree items. I ordered the bison burger and an extra sweet potatoes fries. The food took a very long time for our group of 12. Probably about 20 minutes. We chose our own table and basically had to put our own chairs together as they did not offer any help in moving them besides acknowledging our party size. The bison burger was dry with a bit of crispy exterior texture on the patty that made it taste somewhat better. The bun was not special and although we asked for medium rare, it was more like medium to medium well done. The potato fries tasted good and were soft inside with a nice firm and slightly crunch outer casing. The sweet potato fries were limp and not very good unless you like them greasy, soft, and starchy. In hindsight, I would have just eaten the lunch special hamburger and fries. They also had a $5 upgrade to salad bar option.
