The past two times I've been in this store I had great experiences with Elena and one other sweet employee. They've always helped me and have had patience and grabbed options when needed. This past visit today has left me feeling so weird all day. I had my one year old son with me while I was looking around. I felt like I was being judged by who I believe is the owner. I felt like I was being watched as if I was trying to steal or something? It was so odd. I was also shopping for my best friend and just treating myself in general. Once I picked up one last item I got "cut off" because I had eight items which is fine, but the way I was told that made me feel like they thought I was trying to be sketchy or something! She said I can continue to grab more items after I tried on. When I go to try on I had to do it with the door open because the fitting rooms are tiny and my stroller didn't fit in. Lol that's my bad though. I love the clothes and the other staff but today just didn't make me feel like I was welcome at all. Maybe because I had my son with me, or because I'm a young mom I'm not sure.. even when I tried to make small talk with the owner asking how something looked she didn't even acknowledge me which was embarrassing, the other worker stepped in to comment... but a little customer service or even just a smile and "how is your day" can really make a difference. When the first thing said to me by the owner is " we need to cut you off" because I was excited about buying new pieces isn't really warm and inviting. I work at a local shop in healdsburg and could never imagine treating customers like this!!! Kinda don't ever want to go back unless Elena is working . 3 stars for the clothing and the other girls working, one star for the visit today, because I like my purchases but left feeling sad. read more

I have had the same experience. They have pretty cute stuff but it isn't unique and for the price I would except a much different treatment of their customers. They have no return policy. More than once i have purchased something and brought it back within a reasonable amount of time with something wrong. Once they claimed that they would help me and proceeded to totally not respond. They need some kind of customer response. I am a very loyal customer to good clothing shops especially locally owned but I do not go to this store unless I am desperately in need of an item. read more

I'm writing this review during stay-at-home orders because I miss my shopping experiences at Punch! Every time I entered the store I was greeted with a genuinely warm greeting. Sometimes I came in to find an outfit for a specific event or purpose and got the help I needed. When I wanted to just browse, they gave me the space to enjoy that experience as well with no pressure. Wow! Pretty shocked at what I witnessed an employee at this store do today. A young couple who were shopping were racially profiled and harassed. The young woman was white and her companion was Hispanic and the woman working there started following the young man immediately not hiding her suspicious and angry attitude. The young man was doing what all guys do when their girls are shopping, following her around and giving his opinions on her purchases. At one point he was told to place his water bottle on the counter and then literally yelled at for the way he sat it down. The young woman then responded telling the woman she had felt her hatred from the moment they walked in. She left her items on the counter and left as the employee then yelled at them to get out! Really shocking in this day and age and I cannot support and business who thinks it's okay to treat people with hatred. Get a clue punch! Racial profiling and racist behavior are not okay! Maybe this is where the KKK gets their clothes? Yuck! read more

I make a stop here whenever I'm shopping in Santa Rosa. The prices vary from over the top to the sales upstairs, which I B-line to as soon as I enter. The sales girls are just that. Fashionable young ladies who want to sell everything I can afford or not to in there. The owners are very sweat just like the sales girls and really keep the place urban and fashionable. All their clothes and shoes are in season and if your not a big online shopper like me (have to try things on and twirl around a bit) it's worth the extra few bucks so you don't have the hassle of sending stuff back. My only thing is I wish they would have more stuff on the sales floor. But then I also wish I can eat a whole chocolate cake and not gain a pound. Can't get everything you want, but at least you can look good as Punch has succeeded in making people who shop there. read more

When Punch was in Sebastopol, I wanted to shop there even though I was a little kid shopping with my big sister. Now that I'm older, I keep coming back in the new location; and my wallet knows it! However, every piece I have gotten at Punch is now a staple in my wardrobe. Their Facebook photos and blog gets me every single time, and the designers that they feature makes me want the whole store. Literally. Although I love styling, it's also nice to ask what the girl's working there would pair with an item, they always give great feedback. I had gone into punch with my two sisters looking for new jeans and the owner was following us around the whole time. She had an attitude and was disgustingly rude! Not only are the clothes over price and I was still willing to buy them and was at the register about to make the purchase when she was still behind me as if I was going to steal the items. They also had a dog that kept smelling and slobbered all over me when I asked the owner to get it off she looked the other way and acted like she couldn't hear me. read more

I really only use YELP on my phone to look up restaurants in different places. So this is the first time I am writing a review because I have never wondered how a place like this can stay open?! I come through Santa Rosa many times a year and have to say that yesterday was the third time I ventured into this place. I remembered last Fall leaving this place saying to myself: Never come into this place again. I am reminded again why I left feeling frustrated and just a bad taste in my mouth. The girls who work here seem like they are there to more to judge the customers than to help. I was followed around for a very uncomfortable 15 minutes all around the store. And I was looked up and down by all of the girls who worked there. I couldn't make my way out of that long store fast enough. I hope that the owners of this place reads all of these accounts of customers who will no longer spend money here ever-again. I went CRAZY in heeeere! Oh the adorable, perfect, sexy but comfy clothes they have! The buyer has a great eye because everything in this shop I want! Huge selection of designer jeans but not too pricey. So many tops and dresses to fit any style. They carry great brands like free people and chaser as well as boutique brands that are just as amazing! I do wish they had a bigger selection of affordable accessories but whatev. Everything else makes up for it tenfold. I also am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and everything I purchased was of good quality and worth it for sure. Yes they have a large stock of cute/designer jeans but so do other local boutique and the other places treat their customers much nicer. The service is hit or miss (and with the same employees) Its obvious when the want to be helping you and when they don't feel like working. Their selection has really dimished over the years. I used to be able to find lots of cute tops/sweat suits and now I rarely find anything. I would recommend driving to Rohnert Park to check out "Delicious" everytime single time (which has been atleast 6 or 7 times) I have gone in there they are super nice/friendly and always help me find the best jeans/cutest outfit. read more

I have walked into this store three times in the last two years. The first time I went in, I was excited - the clothes looked so cute! However, less than ten minutes later, I regretted walking in. The prices were WAY over shot. But, to make things worse the employee's are so. incredibly.rude. I left, promising myself never return. However...I did end up going back. I don't remember the 2nd time...must have blocked out the unpleasant memory. The third time, I had to bring a friend for encouragement. When we walked in the store, the 3 girls in the store didn't greet us - they just glanced over and stared. Not once did they ever say a word until my friend touched a pair of heels. When I asked to try them on, the girl went and got them in a size too large (they were out of my size). All of a sudden all 3 girls started talking about the shoes like my friend and I weren't there. "Those shoes are so hot. I have a pair." "yeah me too. they're sold out everywhere. They sell so fast. Glad I got my hands on them" "Well that's because we're the only store who carries them here in the North Bay". My friend and I left, and I got on Amazon and bought them for $40 less. read more

This clothing boutique hits the spot for any girl with good fashion taste! During my first time in, I was immediately greeted by a nice woman with brown blonde hair. The store was pretty busy, which surprised me for a boutique. The brands were great, and the items adorable. THE SALE SECTION IS TO DIE FOR! So many things half off, it made my head spin. There was a bit of a commotion while I was in, a woman caught stealing I think. Which explains why the employees must seem leery of random customers. But the service was great, and the young blonde girl working was darling. Overall, I was extremely impressed. When they first opened they had a decent selection and moderately high prices. Then, with a little success, they expanded too much and had to cut back again. Now that they are back in one location, they still haven't learned to price better. Even for the labels, it's just too expensive. Also, the stock turns over oddly. They've had the same pair of red plastic boots on sale for years now.
