One of the worst dining experience I've ever had. The waiters kept rushing us to finish our food but didn't rush anyone else and I'm guessing it's because we're foreigners. The food was overpriced and mediocre too. Overall, the experience was very unpleasant and I would not go back again. Absolutement terrible. After a week if running around France we had gotten tired of nonstop French food so we went to Punjab as a break. Little did we know that we would be eating French Indian food. We started out with the "Indian kir", that is to say a typical French kir with Indian spice added. It was ok but a bit on the sweet side. Wanting a lighter meal we went with our standards lamb korma, saag paneer, and bighan bhartha and not the menu option which seemed to be more. We also got a side of "onion naan". When the dishes came out I was a bit surprised that they all had the same consistency with the exception of four lamb chunks. They also seemed heavy on the cream. The saag paneer had been largely mixed with only tiny bits of cheese left and minimal spinach strands left, the bhartha had nothing left of the eggplant structure, similarly the sauce for the khorma was largely smooth. The onion naan was the most surprising, It had a smooth string cheese like center and looked like a flat roll more than a thin high heat flatbread. Flavor for all was ok win no off flavors. On the other hand the flavors seemed more mild than I'm used to for all the dishes. Service was pretty good. read more

Had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Couldn't have been better! Good service (it was not crowded, so no problem). The food was outstanding! - and yes you might want to ask for extra spicy. Thought it was a good value, even with a bottle of wine. We were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary after dinner drink. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Indian cuisine. read more

Love this place! Be sure to order it extra spicy if you're from the US because the French do not like spice so they need to make their dishes a bit blander. We asked for spice and each dish was amazing. Loved the bharta especially. The best naan ever. Yum! read more

Not a rogan josh as I know it Well what can I say. My friends and I visited this restaurant on Friday 24th August hoping to enjoy a wonderful meal. We ordered two starters between four just to ready ourselves for again what we hoped would be an experience to remember. Well it certainly was that I can tell you. The chicken was on the bone, and the onion baji was the shape of an onion ring and tasted nothing like an onion baji. We also had a couple of nan breads which by the way were out of a packet, ping as we call it in the uk. Cooked in the microwave. I looked forward to my rogan josh, and just to let you all know I am a regular consumer of eastern cuisine. On arrival of my rogan josh to my horror the chicken was on the bone, it is not a KFC we are eating at, well I can tell you I was pretty annoyed at this, as my friends will vouch for. I proceeded to scrape the chicken off the bone onto my plate, added some rice and the very small amount of sauce that accompanied the chicken on the bone. Not much could be said when I tasted this excuse for an Indian meal, apart from crap. Tasted nothing like a rogan josh, more like a moist rice and very bland gravy. When I pointed this out to the waiter he said I should have ordered a Vindaloo if I had wanted something spicy to which I replied I have had many rogan josh in Scotland which are spicy. Very unhelpful staff, if you want to enjoy an Indian meal when in Bordeaux please do not visit this place. read more
