I should have written this review long ago. If I could give 1000000 stars I would. My partner and our two pups absolutely adore Julie and Puppy Love Pet Care! We used Julie for a little over a year before sadly moving to a new area (the hardest part of the move was leaving Julie). Julie was ALWAYS communicative, responsible, accommodating, and affordable. Plus it is obvious how much our dogs, especially our first one who she took on dog park adventures since he was a puppy, love her SO much. We would sometimes come across her and her pack at the dog park on weekends and Odin would sprint across the dog park whenever he would spot her. She is great with rescues and is a huge pitbull advocate, something really important to us as both of our dogs are pit mix rescues. She is also a force free trainer/behaviorist, another huge plus for us. Her passion for dogs is unmatched. I wish EVERY dog owner could have a Julie in their lives. I cannot recommend her enough!!! read more

When Abbey, our lab, turned about 6 months we knew that her regular walks wouldn't be enough, so we set out to find a dog walker that could do dog park visits. Julie came to our home to meet our dog and she was really great. We had set up other meetings with walkers that do dog park visits, and none could seem to control the energy of our young lab. Julie set boundaries with Abbey and was very good about calming Abbey down. She really understands pet psychology. In addition, our dog was afraid of getting in and out of cars. We were worried that Julie wouldn't be able to get Abbey in to the car to take to the park. But Julie reassured us that she would work with Abbey to get her comfortable and now Abbey is much better about getting in our own car! We have now used Julie as our walker for almost a year. She has never missed an appointment with Abbey. Every time Julie takes Abbey out she sends us a text message of Abbey having a great time. She also leaves a note on what Abbey did. It is really nice to have our dog taken care of by someone who cares about our dog as much as we do. Unfortunately, we are moving. I wish we could take Julie with us! She is so great with our dog. Just realized I hadn't reviewed Julie!! She is seriously amazing with dogs. She worked with my old dog Dobby in his behavioral issues and now with my new dog Frankie on his issues with strangers. He is terrified of strangers but he ran right up to her at the dog park for pets the other day! She works with my crazy schedule and stuff. She is a true dog lover and it shows. Julie is a dog lover through and through! She is great with her pack of dogs in the park. She even does 2 trips one for the big and active dogs and 1 for the small dogs! She is cool calm and collect, she is a great choice if you are looking for a dog walker! read more

Julie has been taking my pup to the dog park for a couple months now. She has been amazing. I've called last minute for a walk and she had no hesitation to take him, I see her at the park on my days off and it's glaringly obvious my dog loves her and the dog pack, and when the play gets a little rough, she interjects appropriately. As a fellow dog walker/sitter it was an easy decision to ask Julie to care for our 3 pups when we went on a weekend vacation. She did a terrific job, they were all content and well taken cared for when we returned. We were soo happy we've asked her to do it again! read more

I used Julie for about a year before moving from Seattle. She was absolutely amazing. My two pups are my babies, and I am very particular about with whom I leave them. I had already had three pet walkers and was not happy with anyone until Julie. My big dog literally smiled whenever Julie was around (I have the pics to prove it!). And my little guy loved snuggling up to her. She was super reasonably priced (she could really think about upping that price for her great work), but she was more focused on loving her work. She has a behaviorist background, and she did well carrying her training into her work with dogs. My big one is a major handful and she worked wonders with him; really took time to help him improve his leash behavior. I can't say enough good stuff about her and highly recommend her services. You and your pup(s) will love her! read more

Julie is fantastic. She did wonders with our two (very different) dogs. We started using Julie last summer and she walked the dogs, including our Labradoodle who was then only 4 months old. She built up such an amazing relationship with our animals that we asked her to include them in her dog park runs. They always returned home and happy and exhausted. Julie leaves detailed notes every time about their behavior and even texts photos from the park. Julie helped both of our dogs with park and walking manners. She is a wonderfully kind and trustworthy person. Above all I always knew that my animals were 100% safe in her care. We moved out of her service area and it was very hard on my guys. Julie watched our 7 month old pit bull over the weekend and I was so thankful to have someone trustworthy staying in our home! Skye is in training and often having a dogsitter stay with a dog causes a backslide (understandably)...not with Julie. It's like we never left! Knowing that there was someone home with our girl and not just peeking in a couple of times a day for potty breaks made all the difference in our trip. read more

I have a very busy lifestyle right now with grad school, work, and clinicals. When my husband had to leave the country for work I was completely stressing out about who I could trust into my home to watch my "kids" (Kona, Charlie, and Gracie). After meeting Julie several times at the dog park and doing some volunteer work with her, I was able to see how amazing she was with each of her packs. Julie came to my rescue when I needed someone to come over late at night to let my dogs out for potty breaks. I too have a little dog that I am unable to take to the park, due to his attitude towards other dogs. I am constantly working with him, but it is nice to have someone who understands dogs like this and is able to take them for private walks. Julie is completely awesome, my dogs love her, and I will continue to use her services for as long as I have animals. read more
