I only got a french tip on my toes which was 50.... but they charged me 80 as well. Not happy with the result and they wouldn't give me and itemized receipt to add to this, i wanted a basic white acrylic and design over my nails and he went in with gel polish on-top... didn't ask for that especially since it was so streaky. i was over charged for mediocre work. and again was never given a receipt and they came up with prices on the spot. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I recently visited with a friend, and while the lady doing her nails was super sweet and engaging, the gentleman who did mine was the opposite. He simply walked in and told me to "sit here." Throughout the entire process, he didn't say a word to me. When I took my hand out while curing my nails, he rudely said, "No, again." He attempted to be polite when my credit card came out, asking if I liked the color, but the damage was done. My nails turned out thick, bumpy, and much longer than I wanted for my graduation. They were so bad that I had to go home, file them, and essentially redo them myself, and I did a better job than the so-called professional. While I understand that not everyone is a people person, this job requires those skills. I'll be sticking to my normal nail spot:) read more

I was a customer here for over two years and have finally decided to go elsewhere. After my last pedicure, shellac to mind you, the fourth day after the entire color popped off my nail. A week later the entire color popped off my big toe. I also had dip done on my hands and the very next day it chipped, an entire corner came off. I am not allowed to work with chipped polish so I was forced to go back the next day to have it fixed before returning to work. Mind you, I did absolutely nothing to cause the nail to chip...no hard labor, no heavy lifting, etc. The man I interacted with thought he was a comedian, probably because he had two women seated in front of him, and made jokes about customers : the one he made about me I didn't catch but he had the girls laughing, another lady came in after me and asked if she wanted "a haircut". I thought this was all unprofessional. He was rude in asking me if I picked my color and didn't care to help me know which, out of the many, books they had that I could choose from. I was only there the day before so when I found the book I chose the color that was closest to that of my nail, the book color did not match my nail color. He begins to argue with me about it in which I finally said, "I was just here yesterday. It was this book and the color I chose was in this area. This is the closest to it, maybe the book color is wrong" After getting it fixed, and after he asked my 10yr old if she would be paying for it (trying to make yet another joke), he just gets up to leave me sitting there. I did ask how much I owe them, as that's probably why he was upset, and he didn't charge me. Pur bliss for my personal experience has been nothing but amazing. The owners are super nice and very welcoming. I just came back to get a pedicure the other day and even though it was a walk-in and I didn't have a appointment they still were able to take me in. The man who did my pedicure was AMAZING!! Went in for French tip nails with light pink as the base. The guy chopped my long natural nails off WITHOUT asking me. I was shocked and very upset and didn't know what to say. He asked me what shape I wanted and I said square and he made them round. He never put the pink base like I asked and only did one coat of clear. I will never return here. read more

I visited this salon today after doing some extensive research on quality salons. I loved the pictures that were displayed on their Facebook of their work & decided to give them a try. I booked an appt through yelp and they were quick to reply & set up my appt but I sadly left today disappointed & in pain. The lady that did my nails applied a few tips not straight & some were pointing up so at the end my nails looked off. When I pointed out some were crooked she told me she couldn't really fix them because it was due to "how my nail grows" which this isn't the case. I've had acrylic nails for 10 years & I've never had this problem unless the tech applies the tips incorrectly. It was an easy fix that she chose to blame on me. I asked for a coffin shape & even paid $5 extra but was just given a square shape. I showed her how they were uneven multiple times & she attempted to make them even. When she tried to shape them she cut the sides of my finger tips on multiple fingers & left me bleeding. I was okay after the first one understanding that mistakes happen sometimes but it shouldn't of kept happening. She didn't even sanitize her files after cutting me or sanitize my hands/try to stop the bleeding. I'm not sure if the files were new or if they are/were used on multiple people. She just continued with the service. I was appreciative that she made sure I liked the color of my nails & even changed the color after applying it on one nail when it didn't look like the swatch I chose. After I washed my hands at the end another tech applied the gel top coat on my nails. It has bumps in it & can be seen in pictures but at this point I was ready to pay & be done as I needed to go home & put some antibiotic cream on my fingers to prevent an infection from occurring where I was cut. Overall I was left with $60 uneven nails that aren't the shape that I paid $5 extra for that look nothing like the work that is advertised by the salon. Maybe I just got a nail tech that wasn't as experienced as the ones that do the sets that are advertised. They also used dip powder for the acrylic service. Another customer even pointed out why they were using the dip powder & applying it like acrylic & the tech told her it's dip powder but you're not getting it applied as dip. ***update*** I don't do dip powder because I usually have a reaction with it which I wouldn't have gotten the service if I knew they were using dip powder. I had a reaction to the dip powder they used & I can't even soak my nails off because I was cut up so bad it burns to put my hands in acetone so I'm left with swollen, itchy fingers. read more

Nothing short of a great great experience! Automatically I was greeted. When I showed up for my appointment time, a gentlemen quickly signed me in and about 5 to 10 minutes later I was seen by Jon. RUDE and DIRTY salon. Worst manicure I have EVER received. I have worked in the cosmetology industry for 10 years and I have never been so disappointed. The manicurist began drilling off my gel off my natural nails without soaking them. I then asked if they could soak and was completely ignored. Entire clean up of my nails and cuticles was extremely rough, uncomfortable and honestly painful as they did accidentally nick my nail beds with the drill. They did not ask at any point if I liked the shaped (nails were filed unevenly) and proceeded with the service without looking or talking to me at all. I feel apart of the experience is the friendly and fun interaction since it is such a personal SERVICE. She did not ask me to wash my hands before starting the gel color so I had my own gel nail dust all over my hands during the painting AND MASSAGE! WTF! At checkout, I was standing in front of the register as the same manicurist was too interested in their phone to look up to help me check out. I was blown at this point and asked for the manager on duty. I explained everything I had just experienced and proceeds to say "It looks good though" and only offered $5 off... and was absolutely STUNNED that I did not leave any gratuity. I have never in my life as a 1) service worker and 2) beauty service worker have never left a tip. My husband and I just walked into this business, I wanted to get a full set and my husband wanted to get a pedicure. Everyone was doing nails, they looked up saw us and not one person spoke. Ok... everyone is busy right so we sat down. The owner, John, and his lovely wife, Ana, run a very tight ship here! We have been here multiple times, it is my "go to" place for lovely nails. The other day, they were extremely busy when we arrived, we couldn't wait, but John told us to come in early tomorrow (they were scheduled to open at noon, and he told us to be there at 11 AM) and they opened the business early for us. What? Nobody does that! This is called "customer service", folks! I am always pleased with my nails. Dana is my usual technician, and she takes special care to avoid nicks (I am elderly and on blood thinner medication) but I know and trust her work. She is VERY CAREFUL!
