Mel, John, and the staff at WWW are incredible. They are knowledgeable, responsible, and reliable…read more They provide everything I look for and expect in a doggy daycare. Several things set them apart from other daycares I have experienced (in Tucson and elsewhere). The dogs do daily activities (ex: wed is game day, and thurs is paw print paint day) and they have access to outdoors as well as indoors. They get frequent potty breaks so they aren't forced to eliminate indoors, which is surprisingly the case at a lot of daycares! They also provide a shuttle to and from camp which I utilize every week due to my work schedule. My pup gets picked up from and dropped off at my residence which is soooo helpful. We have also boarded with them which leaves my pup stimulated and tired when she gets home. My dog is not one that can just sit in a kennel for a weekend. The daily updates and pictures are also great for peace of mind. Lastly and very importantly, I have seen my Rhodesian ridgeback pup blossom into a social and happy pup. Roux, who is friendly, but slightly wary of new surroundings, people, and dogs, was previously at a daycare who threw her in with 20 wild and new dogs. She, of course, barked and growled and was asked not to return. At WWW they are deliberate about their playgroups and introductions. Roux has never had problems here and enjoys her time at daycare. At the dog park, she approaches strangers for pets and initiates play with new dogs. Both things she had never really done before her time at WWW. I can't recommend Wheels, Walks, and Wags enough for boarding and daycare!

Did anyone say: agility day, training day, smell day, art day (yes, art), and then free play day? Drop off is easy and convenient, so is pick up. You get a daily report card with many photos. These are true dog afficianados and in tune with your dog's behavior. they take special care in matching dogs to the rooms and events. Constant supervision and outside potty space. My 9 month German shepherd has really become socialized to other dogs. DDC (doggy day care) is much cheaper than getting a new dog, and the other dogs will help socialize your dog. WWW sets the gold standard for dog care. They specifically set up a trial session to ensure new dogs match well with the packs. They are excellent at integrating the challenging dogs as well. Did anyone say patience? Yep, they have that too. They are all about the positive training approach and they read dog body language very well. So happy to be in partnership with raising a socially compatible dog while having fun.

I can see the tears falling off his face whenever I pick him from daycare. This is honestly the best daycare in town. I almost never leave one-star reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so other dog…read moreowners can make an informed decision. I'm new to Tucson and needed boarding for my Golden Retriever while I took a two-day trip to California. After seeing good reviews for Dirty Dogs, I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, the experience was full of red flags from the very beginning. Every time I called, my calls went unanswered. Instead, they would text me immediately saying everything had to be done online. I'm not great with online portals, so I asked if I could just come in and complete everything in person. I was told no. It all had to be done online. It wasn't until I texted that I was about to use another facility that someone finally called me. Since my dog had never been there before, she needed a temperament assessment. I wanted to bring her in a few days early so I could see the facility and make sure she was comfortable, but I would have been charged for that visit. They suggested I simply do the assessment on the morning of boarding, free of charge, so I trusted their recommendation. The morning of drop-off, I received a reminder text at 7:53 AM saying dogs had to be dropped off between 6:30 and 8. Since I was going to arrive around 8:15, I called immediately. I was told, "Well there are reminders (plural) that are sent and it's okay, but I would be charged a 15 dollar late fee because the dogs would already be kenneled. I decided not to argue about the ONE reminder since I would be leaving my dog alone with these people and didn't want anything to happen, I accepted responsibility and didn't argue. ******The real problem ****** happened when I arrived. I pulled up to the facility, walked around looking where to enter, an employee walked up, took my dog's leash out of my hand without introducing himself, didn't greet me, didn't greet my dog, and immediately started walking her inside. When I tried to follow, he blocked the entrance and told me I wasn't allowed in. That's the moment I knew I couldn't leave my dog there. As a dog owner, handing your pet over to strangers for the first time requires trust. I expected at least a friendly introduction, someone acknowledging my dog by name, explaining the process, or doing something to help me feel comfortable. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WOULD BE WATCHING MY DOG?? ANY NORMAL human with half an heart sees a Golden Retriever and wants to pet and greet her!! These are supposed to be people who work with and love dogs???? Instead, the interaction felt rushed, cold, and unsettling. I made the decision right then to cancel my Labor Day trip. losing the trip was disappointing AND COSTLY, but I don't regret that decision for a second. When the owner called me afterward, she told me she had reviewed the security footage and that the employee had followed normal protocol. I listened to her explanation, but when I tried to explain why the experience concerned me, I felt interrupted and corrected rather than heard. To make matters worse, I was still charged 170 dollars! I knew I would be charged for booking, but figured she would work with me! All I got was "you can still drop her off between 4-6pm" (whatever the drop off time was). I want to be CLEAR: **** This review isn't about the money. It's about trust. ***** When you're asking someone to care for your dog, especially for the first time, trust is everything. Unfortunately, I never felt that trust was earned. One final piece of advice, pay close attention to the reviews. Many of the older positive reviews appear to be from before the current ownership and many focus on grooming rather than boarding. Maybe this place works well for some people, but based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend boarding your dog here. This lady loves to post the videos on here to justify her actions, I HOPE TO GOD SHE DOES, because ANYONE who loves their pets will see how COLD this exchange was. && lady, POST THE AUDIO!!

If you read nothing else, read this text exchange where Renee LIES about having been at our house and having cared for our pets. Imagine being outside of the country and having this exchange. -- ME: We havent received an update and we are worried because it seems they are being left alone more than 4 hours RENEE: Afternoon, I do apologize. I typed this up and forgot to send it. Pups are doing good and kitties come around here and there. [3 pictures attached] ME: When are these pictures from? RENEE: They are from today. I fed the kitties at 11. And took [elderly blind dog] outside. I also brought the packages in. ME: The door lock says nobody has been there since 8am ME: And the security camera RENEE: I do apologize those are from yesterday. ME: My poor babies, I cannot believe this is happening -- This was at 2:15pm Tucson time (late night in Ireland). Renee had left our home at 8am and nobody had been there since, and further she wasn't going to go there right away. We were told 3pm, which didn't happen. We called Arlene again. Renee finally got there around 3:30pm which means our pets were alone for 7.5 hours. We had contracted for so-called 24-hour service which meant someone would be at the house all night with only a six-hour gap per day. We had requested the six hours to be broken up so that the animals would not be alone more than 4 hours at a time. How long would they have been alone if we didn't catch Renee in her lies? Throughout this nightmare, the owner Arlene seemed unconcerned that her pet sitter was lying. She couldn't find a single person in her supposed roster of pet sitters to take over from Renee. She didn't offer to go herself until I angrily suggested that she do so if Renee continued to make excuses not to get back to the house. Arlene kept telling us to try to enjoy our trip as if the problem we were calling her repeatedly about was our inability to try hard enough to do so. She also kept repeatedly telling us in a cheerful tone that this has never happened before like that were relevant to our ongoing distress. She even interrupted my husband to try to chit-chat about how she wanted to visit Ireland! We were so distressed at Renee lying about caring for our pets and Arlene's lack of appropriate response that we contacted our regular sitter who was back from her trip and told Renee to leave that night. Nothing could have prepared us for what we found when we got home. Thank god our animals were OK. But Renee had not been checking the automatic cat box, which had jammed. Having few choices, the cats chose my antique chair, which was ruined. The most bizarre scene was our backyard. Renee had removed one of my shovels from our workshop and taken it upon herself to scrape up all of the topsoil into enormous piles that our blind dog had to navigate. We only asked her to water our plants which should have taken 10 minutes a day. Not to spend hours NOT WATCHING OUR BABIES and instead doing what must have been hours of manual labor tearing up the soil I've been building. Nor did I ask her to hack away at my fairy duster bush that the hummingbirds loved like some kind of maniac. She also rearranged some of my personal belongings. The floors were caked with dried pee from neglecting our dog. Renee is a person without a shred of common sense and no moral compass. Arlene has no idea how to manage people or a business caring for pets. One star is obviously too good! Forgetting all the other insanity, anyone who LIES about taking care of an animal, especially an elderly blind one, should never be allowed to pet sit ever again in their lifetime. As far as we know Renee is still employed by Arlene who was "very sorry for the inconvenience."

After our initial meeting with our sitter Lisa, she has been able to make last minute accommodations when our work schedule fluctuates - and of course our pups love her! I would highly recommend to busy families who want peace of mind for their pets while they're away for vacation or work.
