Great place and ambience . I came in to complete a class and was told I couldn't because my 2 kids were not allowed to stay in the waiting area. I had already checked in through my app so I lost the class/credit for the day. I asked just for this one time if they could sit close to the bathroom area where I can see them so that it wasn't a liability but they told me that because they were close to "weights" that this was a liability as well. They never asked me how old they were .... They just assumed they were "kids" and not preteens or teens..... not sure when it would be ok for them to sit in the waiting area or they just don't allow anyone to sit in the waiting room. I am a full time mom and have gone to many places and have never been turned away because my kids can't sit and wait. My kids are not toddlers so I understand that some children may not be appropriate to sit but I think most parents have the sense to figure that out. I have one middle schooler and the other completing elementary soon. Just keep this in mind when coming to this facility. Other than that the place is nice. read more

Writing this in hopes Pure Barre can show some leniency for future members. When I signed up, they told me about their cancellation and no show policies and how if you are late you won't be let it but it was stressed to me 'we understand things happen, we will try and work with you' and demonstrated empathy that even with the best intent, things happen. Despite leaving over 30 minutes early, traffic on pines is horrendous, and I showed up 5 minutes late and wasn't allowed into class. That's fine but also told that I would be charged a no show fee despite standing in the lobby being denied access. The 'understanding that things happen' was no where. I understand about being denied for being late for a class and a class credit being used but being charged extra on top of that is kicking a horse when it's down. The girls are sweet and the instructors are great, but if someone makes the effort to try and make a class and gets denied by a few minutes, they shouldn't have to pay on top of it- as if their efforts don't matter and they no showed at all. They did try to get me to wait an hour for the next class but I wasn't able to. read more

I absolutely love Pure Barre. I go at least 4-5 times per week, it's a great all around body workout. They have several different formats that target different areas of your body-try a free class, you won't be disappointed. read more

This establishment is not very flexible and has only strives to get bodies in but never accommodate new customers in. I signed up, and 2 days after ky schedule I advised them that my schedule would not accommodate the classes and would like to make an adjustment. They advised me that no adjustment could be made and no alterations to the contract, and I should just try to come whenever I could. I have ended up being charged for 3 months and only attending 1 class because of this inconvenience. I would never recommend this to anyone. read more

I actually love working out now! This is the first workout that I have loved and stuck to. They offer different classes that appeal to toning, cardio, and much more! The price is fair in comparison to other workout places. The studio is very clean and up-to-date. The staff and teachers are very friendly. I always feel welcomed and the teachers are always willing to help you, offer corrections, or answer any questions. I have really grown to love pure barre! read more

I had the intro class scheduled for today but did not attend due to the front desk girl making zero sense. First she asked me my address - I told her I use my mom's address in Plantation but live in Pembroke. She asked if I was local - I replied yes and told her where I live. She asked if I was moving - again told her yes in a year and 2 months. She said the class is really considered a drop in class and will coast $30 since I'm not a local. I asked how I wasn't a local when I live less than a mile away. She said "some memberships are for a year" so if I move I won't get the full year. Again I told her I'm moving in over a year. She continued to say that's how it works and she'll let me stay for the class. I ended up telling her to forget the class since I was already upset and refused to continue to debate me moving in 14 months is more than 12 months. I would also love to know what difference it makes if I move or not - if I was to pick a membership that's a year and move prior to the year then my money is lost not hers. What if I didn't even like be intro class and didn't purchase a membership or purchased a different option - either way no one will ever know since your front desk girl felt the need to debate with me about being a local resident or not and clearly not understand my living in the same zip code means I'm local. read more

I'm one of the founding members since the studio opened in Jan 2017. The workouts here are great, they are always different, and surely keeps us on our toes! Although the studio has been through many changes, one thing that holds us together is the bond that we form with the clients here. We support each other, celebrate each bar milestone, and yes; we compare our soreness levels! But, we're back at it the next day! I had a good experience at the studio here untill I requested to cancel and instead was told I would be put on hold for until I ever decide to return and there was zero communication that this supposed "hold" would be temporary, if I knew that was the case I would have pressed harder. Fast forward a couple months later with apparently new owners / mangers, they charge my CV and refuse to refund! I'm told I beed to fill out a cancellation form that won't go into place until a month later. Very very disappointed that this is their way of scamming someone. What a fantastic place to work out. There are sign up deals and "try it out for a week for free". After my free week I signed up for a month and then signed up for 3 more months. This location makes you feel like you're apart of a family. I look forward to going to my daily classes. The teachers are all friendly, and the other ladies in the class are supportive. I love Pure Barre, so the hubby gifted me a membership. I am not a gym person. I need someone to tell me what to do. I have been going consistently for the last 4 months. I feel the difference. The hubby also notices how much more energy i have. It's NOT an easy workout, but it's worth it. It's a challenging total body workout, but the moves can be modified. All of the teachers are amazing. They focus on form and really make sure you are doing the moves correctly. If you want to strengthen and tone than this is the place for you. read more

Used to be a fantastic gym with great instructors. Made true friends here over the course of 2+ years when I was a member. After they changed management, everything went downhill. They are trying to unethically continue billing me after my contract ended in August. This is after being exposed to Covid-19 in a class where the instructor was POSITIVE for Covid-19 and they failed to notify us until we found out from an employee outting them on social media. Pure Barre ended up confirming the information was true 5 days later ONLY following pressure from concerned patrons who attended her classes. They then proceeded to bill me for a freeze when I couldn't attend because I had to quarantine following that exposure. To top that off, they are now charging me a cancellation fee yet my contract had ended and I gave them the required notice that I was not renewing my membership. Now they are sending me to collections. Completely unprofessional. read more

PB Pembroke Pines is such a great studio! Everyone is so friendly and make you feel comfortable. The teachers are energetic, fun and tough all at once! They push you and help you get in proper form so you get all you can out of every movement. Trying to take advantage of loyal members during a pandemic = loss of members. I will never return to this studio. Trying to make money by renewing memberships during a shutdown then charging to freeze your account that you didn't renew! Charging fake cancellation fees. On Mother's Day, my wife did make an appointment in order to get a free class. After the person on the phone gave her the green light, she drove 10 miles there and got there 5 minutes before the class. But the receptionist told her since it was her first class, she needed to be there at least 20 minutes before. So, she and the teacher just told her on the spot that she could not do the class. So, they basically lost a potential client. That is just a horrible customer service. read more
