I stopped in on a Friday afternoon. The only signage said "Ralphs" and if not for an open garage door with a car inside, I would have thought it was out of business. A mechanic quickly pulled my car in, raised it up with the car running and determined two flex hoses on my exhaust were worn out. Instead of wanting to replace the whole exhaust, he said he'd cut the sections out and replace them. I walked down the street and ate at Popeyes chicken. When I got back, the car was sitting outside completed. The price was reasonable too. It was so quiet, I couldn't even tell it was running. I am very happy and I would go back to Ralphs.

I bought it and within a week ran over something, pot hole, railroad and broke the rotting Y pipe. The rear catalytic was also rotting out and a code said the manifold catalytic was bad. No, the dealership did not rig the car it was an under 3k minivan to be used as a slop car for my dogs among other things. Ralph's agreed with most of the previous repair place estimate but did not like welding pipe to the rear catalytic to save it. This minivan has 3 catalytic converters. The price at the other place was $2100 for Y pipe, manifold catalytic, oxygen sensor and welding pipe to the rear catalytic . It would also take more than a week to get parts and repair it. The price Ralph's quoted is to replace the Y pipe, replace the rear catalytic with the chance the manifold catalytic might be bad was 964. I asked will that seal up the exhaust and it would. I went with that option. They had it done in a couple days. I've driven it to work and back as a test and put about 50 miles on it. I've not had an issue so far. If it does fail I'm not as concerned as it's not leaking exhaust now. It's a lumbering boat but it runs quieter now and I've noticed it's slowly improving gas mileage.

The coating can chip and crack and moisture can get in. However, Rust Check does have to be treated several times like every 18 months. It takes about 45 to 50 minutes to treat and it does drip for several days afterwards so you just have to make sure you put some plastic or tarp down to protect the garage floor. So far so good. It's only my second application but it's worth it. I had a 20 year old Toyota van that was still running fine but it rusted out. I say it's worth it to protect you vehicle from the rust. The location is just a small operation, probably family owned. They are always nice and courteous.

I am SO extremely grateful that Lucas was available so late at night and willing to come help me. I had no idea why my car wouldn't start and a million warnings were popping up on my dashboard. After sending a few pictures of my dashboard and explaining what was going on Lucas knew that it was the car battery. He went and bought me a new car battery, answered the phone quickly giving updates and came to the rescue. He was so kind and EXTREMELY EXTREMELY helpful especially being a woman alone stuck in a parking lot not knowing what to do or who to call and very stressed out. He was so thorough in explaining to me that whoever changed out my last battery unfortunately gave me a used one and caused a bunch of corrosion. He quickly changed my battery and spent so long cleaning out all the corrosion (i had no idea was there) and even bought something extra that would ensure the connection was good so I could drive 45 minutes home safely. My car would've stopped and broke down on the highway if it wasn't for him. He explained everything to me and was so transparent and quite literally saved me after a long day of traveling. I needed my car for work the next day and have no idea what i'd do if he wasn't available and came to me right away. He's so talented and great at what he does and very transparent and NOT sketchy like other car businesses. He will tell you everything straight up and is a super honest and kind person!!!
