I had an amazing experience here! I couldn't find any reputable groomers in Turlock area, so I decided to go to Atwater. I can say it was the best choice I ever made. I have taken my golden doodle with other groomers, but always had bad experiences. I could tell my dog was getting maltreated, because at pick up he would usually be very aggravated. Yesterday when I picked him up from Pure Joy he was just so happy and excited. I just know they treated him with lots of love! I recommend this place! Just make sure to take in consideration that they work on multiple dogs at the same time, so time could be anything from 3-5hrs for a bath and groom. Aside from that price point is just right!

Brought my cat for the first time was scared to leave her because she is very sensitive and I took in her to another pet grooming, spot and she came back scared, and didn't come out of her bag for a good hour, just looked traumatized. But I know it was a total difference experience for her coming back home from this place because when I brought her back home she was happy and playful like nothing ever happened to her and she looks very good They did an awesome job even though there wasn't much to cut off, but she didn't seem scared for the most part so I want to thank them for treating her good and doing a amazing job with her.

Absolutely love Pure Joy Pet Salon. I am not one who writes reviews but I been so happy with Pure Joy that I wanted to share my experience. My cockapoo pup is very scared of new people but loves his groomer Megan. She does a great job and is very gentle with him! Always meets my expectations! Highly recommend Pure Joy!

I could not be happier with how nice and understanding they were of my hyper puppy. The whole booking to paying process was very smooth. They had great customer service.

I've been taking my dog dude there for several years. He's an older Maltese and he's been groomed since he was small but the last time I took him it was six hours. They had him so when I went to check on him, she was trimming him up and being very rough and yelling at my dog. I will never bring him back again because if she talk to him like that while I was sitting there, how was he treated while I was not there? read more

They charge u for daycare if u don't pick your pet up within a hour of completing . Some people drop their pets off before going to work and pick them up on their way home. I have never had a place until this one charge me. Wasn't impressed with the service. The only reason I took my cat there was because I was told they did groom Cats. read more

Their name says it all!!!! Took my two senior doxies in for nail trims. It was the first time at a groomer for all of us. She was kind, patient and got them done quickly. The shop was very clean and cool (perfect temp). This was so much better than me struggling at home or hauling them into the vet's. I will certainly be back! read more

Meg is awesome! I took my 4 months old Maltipoo puppy to get groomed for the first time and Meg said my puppy did great and I believe it's because Meg is amazing at what she does/enjoy/love. This was our first time getting our large dog groomed, and we are so happy that we found this pet salon. They were so helpful and caring. We had specific concerns about our dog, and they made sure to give us information on what they had done to address those concerns. Lobo tends to be a very nervous dog, but he was relaxed and calm when he came out to be picked up. In fact, he seemed to be rejuvenated by all of the attention he had received. They surpassed all of our expectations, and we will definitely be returning. read more

Absolutely love taking my fur baby here! First day we took him in and she played with him and let him get to know her while I filled out his information. We have took him in a few times and he is always so excited to go and stays with no problem. My baby is always perfectly clean and smells great when I pick him up. Her prices are very reasonable for the care and quality of her work. You can really tell she enjoys spending time with the animals in her care. read more

We have been going to Pure Joy for a least 7 years plus and yes it's my first review, but the whole team does a great job, I started with my chihuahua Bernice and now we also have three Siberian Huskies. Pure joy is just that.. pure joy, Megan the owner is as sweet as she can be, she listens to what you want, the shop is always clean.. my riley is very picky with getting his feet done.. he can be quite difficult, but megan gets him trimmed and clipped every visit and he isn't stressed when I pick him up...the prices are reasonable and it's just a good all around shop to leave your fur baby. read more

We love this place! My dog, my Mom's dogs, and multiple friends of ours all take our dogs here! They are awesome and so sweet! :-) My dog has never liked getting a bath (actually he does not like getting wet at all), but as soon as he gets there he can't wait for Megan to open the gate by the front counter to let him in! Our dogs love Megan! She is kind, gentle, has a big heart, and does a terrific job every time. She even trouble-shoots unforseen problems and helps with existing problems; giving the extra care and extra love that our dogs thrive on and demand. She's the whole package!! Try it for yourself!
