My two star rating is strictly because the price. $12 for a unit of Botox is a decent deal, and legit since you see them actually pull the Botox out of the bottle and directly into your face, whereas some places have techs place it (okay, that's legal in IL). Here the docs do it. The entire experience was...odd. I got stuck behind a train, so I called to inform them I'd be about 5 minutes late. Well, no answer. I try back after a few minutes and the receptionist answered. The awkwardness just continued when I arrived. (Oh and by the way, I was the ONLY person in the office besides the doc and the receptionist so not sure why no one answered). I really just wanted a touch up and made that clear when booking, but there wasn't ANY discussing of my needs or of my wants with the doc. I could have gotten just 10 cc's and been perfect. There wasn't even an option to talk about this, he just loaded up the syringe and plunged the needle in. I would say I wasn't even back in the room for a total of 5 minutes. He followed me out, barked the amount to charge me and she swiped my card. I'm not even sure there was a thank you for your business. After I forked over my hard earned cash, I turn to the front door to see the doc leaving (parked right in front of the business). I won't be back, even if it is a good deal. The professionalism ended at the scrubs and white coat when I wasn't even treated like a valued business guest. The fact I was never even counseled on how much to receive or my wishes really bothers me and the fact it was so rushed (when there was no other patients in the building) leaves much to be desired.
