I saw the reviews and thought this is a great place to go to my Mother's Day manicure. The luminary manicure is supposed to last longer so I thought this was a great option even though it's more expensive than a traditional manicure or gel. First off the luminary manicure has very limited colors, all beige, skin color and very light pink. I was concerned my natural nails would show but Zoe said they would t (they do from my perspective) but that was ok. In reading the info it said the luminary gel was a soak off option so it didn't damage your nails, not so. I am adverse to the drill file and that was used for the cuticle and top of the nail and when I get them redone that is how they "fill" the luminary gel just to let people know so they are not thinking there is no drilling. Both those thing were not the problem though. She asked if I wanted all my nails even up to my broken nail I said no they were even up to my broken nail, she basically said they will grow out by the time I need a fill. Irregardless that's not what I wanted. That's not the real problem either, it was frustrating but not the issue. As I was walking out, I noticed the underside of my nails were filthy. I have never paid $70 for a manicure and had the underside of my nails not be cleaned. I was picking the attached that was after I picked the dirt out from under my nails. there were areas of cut cut. There were several that were not straight or filed properly. You can see the attached pictures but there's areas next to my cuticle. They don't look good for manicure. It should've looked much better than it did. I could have had this caliber of service at my local nail studio in the strip mall. This was suppose to be a high end manicure and that was not the experience I had. read more

I love Zoe!!! I just got my gel toes done and they are beautiful. Just a heads up, her set up is inside of Salon Republic and she is inside suite 12. Her space is small, private, quiet, and so relaxing! The pedicure chairs she has are the most high end and hygienic you can get... they were also way more high tech than those average salon chairs you see. I was SUPER impressed. She uses disposable liners in the pedi bath and everything she uses is very clean which immediately put me at ease. She's also so fun to talk to! Daniela is great- very sweet, takes her time and doesn't rush. Try her nail art with foil and stamping. Zoe is also very knowledgable and takes a lot of care in selecting quality products for the salon. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately left extremely disappointed. Based off all of the other rave reviews, I'm guessing that if Zoe had done my pedicure, I would have had a better experience. This was not the case, however, and I left with the worst looking pedicure I've ever received. She had to try three different times to paint my big toe. I was hoping for the third time's the charm, but the third attempt looked awful as well, and at that point, I think she just gave up. The polish looked thick, gloopy, and unprofessional. Not to mention that after more than two full hours, the polish was still not completely dry due to being so glopped on, and sand at the beach ruined the already terrible looking pedicure even further. I'm going to need to try to find somewhere to get another pedicure tomorrow so that my toes look presentable. I'm a working mom of a one year old, and it's not easy for me to find time and money for this kind of thing these days, so again, this was extremely disappointing. On a side note, while she was cleaning under one of my toe nails, she pushed so hard with the tool that I cried out in pain. That has never happened to me in a pedicure before, but I was willing to let that slide. However with the absolutely terrible polish job, I felt compelled to leave this review. I've received regular pedicures throughout my life and have never had anyone struggle so much to paint my big toe nails, so I really don't know what her deal was, but I will never return to this place, and I do not recommend it. read more

This was my first time trying a smaller salon the offered a healthier manicures. My manicurist was Vanessa and she was amazing! From the minute I walked in, I was welcomed by everyone. Everything looked throughly clean and very hygienic. I do appreciate how their instruments/ files were 1 time use or clearly sanitized!! How a nail salon should operate. Vanessa was genuinely sweet and would answer any questions I had about their different services and how it compared to salons that weren't non- toxic.
