This Sharetea is in a tight shopping center where parking can be tricky due to other businesses that keep this area busy. The workers here are nice and efficient and there is ample seating for those looking to sip and hang. I've been here twice and both times I've visited I've enjoyed my drinks. On my more recent visit I went for their seasonal special that had Taro with Thai Tea and Oreo mixed in. It looked different from the picture, but it was still good nonetheless. It was so hot yesterday and I was looking for a fruit tea spot in the area. To be honest, San Diego doesn't really have any good boba spots compared to the Bay Area. I ordered the mango and passion fruit tea with less ice, normal sweetness, and add-on aloe vera. Drinks were made fast and staff were kind. It was so satisfying because u had just ate some chicken wings elsewhere. It was sooo good that I ordered a second one to-go! read more

Drink Mango Matcha blended with crema & boba - sad that they got rid of the mini boba, that is the main reason that I go there. It tasted okay. I forgot to say 50% sweet, so it was sweeter than my liking but still good. The crema is always bomb. Taro Ice blended w/ pudding with crema - this was a new one for us and we really liked it. We also forgot to say 50 percent sweet but this one tasted not too sweet, I think the pudding balanced it out. Price I remember the toal being about $18-19 for both. Service: quick and efficient, not too many customers. We went at night and typically go after eating Buta which is in the same center. Ambiance: clean, spacious. Has a mini claw machine I like to look at and play sometimes. Parking there is parking that is paint green and says it's 30 mins or whatever but they are all like that and just park like regular. Sharetea is one of the OGs of the bubble tea world being founded over 30 years ago in the early 1990s. This Linda Vista location is very convenient as I work out at a nearby gym so I can grab a beverage here afterwards. It's the same menu as offered throughout the Sharetea chain. Unfortunately, parking in The Presidio Plaza was just as bad as the former shop on Convoy Street, if not arguably worse, because every space was tightly packed. I usually get one of the fruit teas which are not too sweet for my palate. The size of the drink and quality of the tea were fairly reasonable. The chewiness of the boba pearls was not quite up to the level of my favorite hangouts though. One aspect which I did find incredibly annoying was a surcharge if you requested less ice for your drink. That used to not be the case when they first opened. I think they may have backed off from such a surcharge due to customers like me complaining. They formerly offered a frequent user card, however I believe it has been discontinued. read more

Stopped by Sharetea on Black Friday, after being unable to find any parking in Fashion Valley, for a drink while I waited for some friends to join me for dinner. I ordered the classic black milk tea with boba at 25% sweetness and it came out just perfect. The tea is freshly brewed and tasted perfect with the milk (not sure if they use powdered milk?) and boba. Lots of seating inside and there was just one other person there, so it doesn't seem like it sees a lot of traffic. Not a bad spot for boba if in the area. read more

Came in with the expectations of sharetea (now Purl Tea) being the reliable boba spot I usually go to, just to be met with massive disappointment. Upon arriving, the customer service was basically little to none-- no formal greeting or even asking what we would like to order. Just a stare. Hopefully it was just an off day for the bobarista but I can understand why someone wouldn't come back to an establishment just based off the whole interaction alone- from having to see a nasty attitude because previous customers didn't pick up their order when called to not even having our drink order be called. We ordered a classic milk tea with boba and a matcha fresh milk with boba. Unfortunately even the most basic common drinks were not made correctly. Both drinks just tasted like watered down milk with a hint of sugar. Boba was good though! Really good consistency ( chewy and bouncy ). Decided to get some tea the other day and it lead me to ShareTea. There was a long parking lot with a lot of other shops there. Cashier looked new or nervous not sure which but either way did fine. Place looked clean but weird enough they have a very small doorway entrance for some reason. I got the Honey lemonade with Aloe Vera gel cubes. They throw in some lemon wedges as well. What a refreshing drink. So good and just the right amount of sweetness. I didn't ask for any changes because I wanted to see what they considered average and it was just right. I love that this Sharetea location has an overall 4.5 star rating. I enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back but wasn't THAT blown away by the Mango Crema with Aloe I ordered. Service was fine, plenty of seating inside. Parking can be challenging around this area. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, but my friend and I finished a workout nearby and this was conveniently located after having ramen for lunch. One person who was brand new working alone. She had to remake the person's before me drinks. I waited for over twenty minutes because she took other customers orders before making mine. I asked to get a refund before she made my drink and she didn't know how to process a refund. Needless to say I got the drink eventually and it tasted horrible and the Boba was mushy. Wasted $8 on a viet iced coffee that doesn't taste like coffee. No mini boba or made the effort to make any. No restrooms. Worst of all terrible customer service, when you remake drink make sure you put quality work into what you're making! I like this place, it has grown in price over time and they recently shrunk down their sizes, trying to be sneaky but I caught it haha. The staff though are always nice and the quality is phenomenal. When I walked in the door is pretty narrow, so if you have a wheel chair I would ask them to unlock and open the second door. I say ask, because I feel the staff would just stare at you. They weren't too inviting and definitely had a, " I don't want to be here" attitude. The drink, however, tastes delicious! I ordered the mango iced tea with mini boba pearls. Visited this ShareTea location and the service was fast and prompt. Ordered the Oolong Milk Tea w/ boba, and Hokkaido Milk Tea. Both easy ice and easy sweet. Best customer service in Linda Vista, hands down! I swing by Sharetea Linda Vista all the time and the service is ALWAYS on point. The staff here truly go above and beyond, but there's one person who consistently stands out--Kirby (if I got the name right)! His energy is unmatched. This place is absolutely amazing! The workers are always so sweet and patient with me because I recently started to come here since it is near my house and I am unsure what drinks to get. When I walk in the store, I get greeted and they tell me to take my time figuring out a drink to get! Most boba places are always rushing but the vibe was really nice there. I tried their mango and passion fruit green tea and it was delicious! The boba was really yummy too. The store was really clean too and I enjoy walking in places where it is not trashed. I should of known something was suspect when I went in and there was no customers at all and the staff was sitting around bored. In addition, the establishment had a bad smell inside. I ordered a strawberry mojito and a hot milk tea and both drinks were gross. My hot drink wasn't even hot it was "Luke warm" the strawberry mojito was too bitter from all the lime they used and it tasted like toilet water. Stopped by here out of convenience since it was right off the freeway as we were driving up north. I ordered a mango green tea with lychee jelly and my fiancé ordered a blended matcha with red bean and ice cream. 3 stars for cute vibe, friendly staff, and a cool boba video playing while I waited for my order. However, I didn't enjoy my drink as much. I ordered less sweet on my drink and normal sweet on my fiancé's drink. It seems like the sweetness level is really inconsistent. My drink, while ordered as less sweet was ridiculously sweet that I had to dilute it with water because it just felt like too much. My fiancé's drink, ordered at normal sweetness, was actually more like "less sweet." Also, I wish this place had choices on drink sizes. There is only one size available which is pretty big. Overall, it's an ok choice if for convenience, but I wouldn't drive out of my way for it. read more

Solid boba spot that's clean with fast service! I always get the mango green tea (half sweetness) with lychee jelly and it's really good here. In general, I think Sharetea has top tier fruit teas, especially compared to other boba spots in the area. I took one star away simply because it hurts my heart a little to pay $7 for one drink. read more

I stopped by for some oolong milk tea on my way to the swap meet. I really like that I can get it with no sugar. Great taste and served on ice on a warm day. Service was great and fast. This place was clean and presentable. Parking kind of sucks but not really a problem. Huge menu so there's plenty to choose from. Not much to add. Another staff member was cleaning the seats with a strong chemical cleaning product and eventually it was too strong of a smell that my friend and I just wanted to leave without actually finishing our drinks.
