We did have some issues with parking, that garage is tiny so park early and make sure you have a small car or park elsewhere. The hotel staff is great, very accommodating! The breakfast is nice and easy to get in and grab a quick bite.

We booked a room at Hotel Due Leoni almost last-minute to visit some friends in Sacile and what a great accomodation it proved to be! The hotel furnishings are a bit outdated but this actually adds to its charme. I was very surprised to find a perfectly working vintage green SIP telephone on my nightstand- it was a sweet and nostalgic reminder of my youth. The rooms are very spacious with modern bathrooms and all the necessary amenities. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Piazza del Popolo and surrounded by beautiful Venetian-style buildings. An underground parking is available but it does require very skilled drivers to navigate the narrow parking slots. From the underground garage, an elevator takes you directly to the lobby and/or the rooms. The check-in process was fast and smooth with very professional and courteous staff. What really made a difference for us were the highest cleaning standards of the hotel: every surface was sparkling clean with nary a grain of dust to be found, all courtesy of their cleaning lady (I think her name was Elda and she came from Matera?) . Our room had a view on the Livenza River and the church. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend taking some noise-cancelling buds to protect your ears since the bells of the nearby church ring at every hour- it did not bother us. The breakfast buffet is deliciously scrumptious with plenty of variety. We would gladly stay here again.

Service was great especially during breakfast. Breakfast was great! They served eggs lots of bread options, fruits, sweets, juices. And segafrado coffee to order! Only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that the air conditioner could not be turned on until May. It was cool outside, but was not comfortable enough for my taste. I asked for a fan but only two available for the hotel?

The entire facility was clean and taken care of. If I have one single complain, its parking. Like most of Europe, parking is a luxury. The hotel it's self doesn't have any parking. There is limited paid parking (blue lines) on the street in front of the hotel. We opted to park a few blocks away in the free parking (white lines). I had to circle the block a few times waiting for space to open up but no big deal for me. The walk wasn't bad either. And let's face it, after eating the awesome Italian food for two weeks, the walking did me some good. They are also conveniently located to the train station. Easy walk to catch the train to Venice. You are also only two blocks from the city center. Lots of shops and restaurants with in a easy short walk from the hotel. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and I would defiantly stay here again.

What a shit-hole! Manager is proud to be a hoarder. Spends time accumulating junk and reusing it…read moreinstead of using new parts. Nothing works properly. Hot water just goes off sometimes. May e you can shower this morning g, maybe not. Day one I reported the TV (included with rent) does not even turn on. Nothing was done. Bought my own. One I pay rent for still won't turn on. WiFi is also billed into the rent. It has never once remained connected to the internet ling enough to even complete a simple search. Again, mentioning this elicits excuses, not repairs, nor a reduction/refund of rent. Still no reliable WiFi, no refund, no credit. Every single spigot, is missing the cover, over the screws/workings, such that they look like crap and cannot be properly cleaned. The shower head leaks and squirts random directions from several places where connected as well as the head being so clogged, it sprays every direction except straight down, making showering a challenge. It looks and performs as if it was salvaged from the dump, like most things here. I was told it would be addressed weeks ago. Still nothing. I was not prepared for the basement, where, instead of being able to park our cars inside, he has accumulated piles of trash and junk, including various piles and containers of rotting food, pre-compost, apparently. The rats are fat and happy. Disgusting, like most everything here. There are holes in interior walls badly in need of paint and the exterior is dirty and completely unkempt. Lastly, I am pretty sure live 220v wire connections should not be hanging in mid air, under the sink, over cabinets, etc., held together by strained wire nuts, with no electrical box. There are plenty of other places listed as residence hotels, which are actually maintained, kept in reasonable repair and clean. Nothing works and nothing will be repaired. There isn't even a number on the front of the building, ao Amazon can find you. He says 'they' know where he is, even though I am showing him they did not deliver because they do not! He did absolutely nothing, once again. This is Third World Squalor, bugs, vermin, barking dogs, pissing all of er the cars in the yard, because parking in basement is blocked by trash. I cannot stress how incredibly shitty and unresponsive management is, here. I plan to show pictures to whatever City Officials might actually care. Doubt anything will be done, though. Only a matter of time before a major accident or incident occurs here. Even the concrete on columns holding the building up is so Spaulding (cracking and shedding as steel inside rusts and expands), the building is likely structurally unsound. It's a horse race as to whether it burns down from dangerously poor wiring or collapses outright, as concrete separates from support columns. The City should condemn this dump before someone is killed. I am out of here, never to see the money I spent on services that were not provided, things paid for which do not work, etc. Third World Shit Hole!

Cleanliness is godliness here.
