Tips: - Purolator does not accept PO box addresses. - Staff are incompetent when it comes to getting a Purolator pickup location. Rather than doing a search themselves, they called me to do an internet search on their behalf. TL;DR - I despise Purolator. It took over a month to get a shipment to me. It was the perfect storm having my FlexDelivery address (Canada Post PO box number) with The Shopping Channel (TSC) for this item and not knowing that the manufacturer would be shipping it through Purolator instead. My neighbourhood gets a power outage now and again. In February, there was a power outage for over two hours. I used my cell phone as my hotspot to work on my laptop, which I nearly depleted the battery before the outage was over. A week later, I was watching TSC with my mom. An EcoFlow portable power station was 50% off. It felt right to buy it after enduring this power outage. I can continue to power devices and more. The description didn't say that PO box addresses weren't accepted. I use a FlexDelivery address, as Canada Post isn't great delivering packages to my home. For some reason, similar to UPS, drivers fail to ring the doorbell, knock on the door, or even leave a note like they used to say that they had attempted a delivery. The FlexDelivery address ensures that my packages go to my local post office. Everyone knows me there and are great holding my packages, even longer than the maximum 15-day limit. March 11 - EcoFlow shipped this item out. I was stateside the following day. March 16 - I got a voice message from Purolator. Allegedly, a delivery was attempted, but they don't delivery to PO boxes. It stated that I needed to call Rogers, which was confusing. TSC is owned by Rogers. I'm guessing that's what the person meant. I could not make the address change with Purolator because EcoFlow put an address restriction on this order. Such a pain. I called TSC to explain that I needed the delivery address changed to a local Purolator location. I was in Minnesota and did not want this delivery to happen when I'm not home. The woman was great specifying Peoples Drug Mart in Scarborough. She sent off the e-mail to Purolator. She also shared my home address with Purolator Later that same day, I got another voice message from Purolator from another woman. She said that she needed my home address. Well, that detail was shared by TSC to you. This woman went on about not being able to deliver to a PO box. Yes, I know. I specified through TSC that I wanted to pick it up at Peoples Drug Mart. In the voice message, she seems confused. I contacted TSC again to ensure that my home address was specified in the e-mail. The woman confirmed that it was there and also sent another e-mail to Purolator. Guess what? Purolator sent the package back to EcoFlow on March 19. Why? Purolator cited not getting my address. That issue is between Purolator and TSC. I know that TSC did it. It's sheer incompetence on Purolator's part. March 20 - I got a call from Sarah at TSC. I am super annoyed that the description for this item does not spell out that no PO boxes are allowed for the address. Purolator as the carrier is a huge deviation. I basically told her that if I can't get this shipment delivered to Peoples Drug Mart, I'd be more than happy to cancel this order. As a customer, I shouldn't be dealing with Purolator and TSC to orchestrate fixing my home address and getting this delivery to a Purolator pickup location with an address restriction placed by EcoFlow. March 31 - Props go to Anchal at TSC for getting the reshipment done. She let me know what the new tracking number was and that it would be heading to Peoples Drug Mart. Excellent! Well, so I thought. April 9 - Yes, Purolator called me again. It's apparently missing the unit number for Peoples Drug Mart and asked me to provide it. This Purolator location is in their system. Why can't you pull up the unit number? I call Purolator. I got a woman. She says that she needs the unit number for Peoples Drug Mart. My response? "Oh, you can't do a search online for Peoples Drug Mart like I did?" I heard a slight snicker. How about you take that snicker and put it to good use by doing your job? I find that every Purolator staffer that I have dealt with for this shipment has been incompetent beyond belief. I should not be doing your dirty work to provide a unit number for your Purolator hub location. It's in your system. Figure it out. Leave the customer, me, alone. Of note, the drugstore doesn't have a unit number. Purolator = Pure incompetence. I get this woman to get Purolator's act together. The address on file is correct. There is no unit number at this drugstore and your hub. Get on with it. April 10 - Shipment is at the hub. April 11 - I picked it up in person. It took a over month from placing the order to picking it up. Purolator is inefficient. Staff are incompetent. Simply a horrific experience. (165) read more

Let's hope third time is the charm. 3 people were sitting between 6-10 feet from the door when the driver supposedly "knocked". Two minutes later, we find the paper on the door indicating they missed us because no one was home. It's a business location - 5 adults are here & not one person heard the knock. As someone else mentioned, it seems the driver is just too lazy to do their job & actually get the package to the door. If I could pick it up myself, I would have. Now it's is AGAIN rescheduled for tomorrow delivery because although I called within 5 minutes, there's no way to get hold of the driver to just turn around & bring it. I want to give them 0, because on Purolator pickup policy says if on behalf of another family member to pickup, bring receiver Photo ID and Pickup person photo ID, must be same address on ID, so I went there to pickup on behalf my family member because she is not available at the time, when I drove their warehouse, staff there refused to release parcel, told me this policy is except for Rogers and Bell, made me angry, I spend 2 hours on the hwy, and one hour in their warehouse, they are not humankind, they just don't care. The only reason I came here is because the Purolator driver couldn't find my house to drop off the package. Said that the number didn't exist. Funny because Canada Post/UPS/Fedex has no problems delivering here.. So instead of waiting for the parcel to arrive I just drove out to the facilities in Concord to pick up the package. Love Love Love Purolator. The odds of a successful first UPS delivery ~95% of the time. Purolator? 10%. I truly think they tip toe to the door, knock the slightest bit, slap the "oh we are so sorry we missed you - here is the hell you need to go through to get your parcel" on the door and then run as fast as hell back the truck and slam on the gas. To add insult to injury, they closed the Richmond Hill location and even though there is apparently a location closer to me than Creditstone, because of my address they have to return it to Creditstone. Sure they will try again (typically 2nd time is closer to about 75% chance of delivery), but they will not change the destination and ship anywhere else without a fee. To hoof it to Creditstone during a weekday rush hour? Sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes you don't, Almond *JOY*'s got nuts, mounds don't ... Purolator left a notice on our door, that there was no one to received our package. My,,, there were 3 people in the house. So, today my kids went to Vaughan office, with them is the notice and my license. The staff said, that they do not allow an ID without the recipient (me, myself). They said they will deliver them tomorrow. i was expecting a package that I paid extra for an express delivery within 24/48hrs... I understand with the pandemic COVID-19 they couldn't deliver it on time as per scheduled. Sucks but can't help it /nobody fault. However 4 days later the delivery guy came and didn't call me just left saying no buzzer while other courrier companies have access to the building (UPS, Canada Post, FedEX... etc). They didn't even try to reach me. now I have to pick it up myself at a location far away from my place while I paid a premium for a better delivery experience. They don't have to climb Mount Everest to make a delivery but they need at minimum to try to call the receiver. Worth customer service... The driver never made an attempt even once and on tracking, status shows that "Attempted delivery - receiver unavailable." After calling Purolator and they did confirm it will get delivered next day but still no attempt has been made and the package is "Available for pickup for 5 business days from arrival date at the counter." I was tracking my package that I had ordered online and had noticed that the delivery date was going to be on a day when no one was home. I had called Purolator to see if they can either come and deliver my package a different date or if I could come and pick it up. The lady I had spoken to over the phone said they cannot change the delivery date and that someone had to be there, THEN HUNG UP ON ME. They basically wasted their time only to tell me to contact them for further instructions on where to pick up my parcel since they were unable to deliver my package...right...because I said no one would be home. When I called back since they said to contact them, the person over the phone was so rude and unhelpful. Worst customer service ever! read more

Would give them a zero rating if I could. I placed an expedited order with a Canadian Company. Was charged more for overnight shipping. My package should have been here by JULY 1. Their website has no estimated delivery date. When I try calling I get a repeated message that they are closed, even though their hours of operation indicate that they are open today! I could give zero stars if I could. The original sender sent my package to the wrong address which is her fault. The next day, Purolator calls me and says I have a package sent to the wrong address. I thanked them and gave them the correct address. I spelled every street and postal code letter by letter. The lady seemed to be in a rush and hung up on me as soon as I gave her the address. The next day, I followed my tracking number and realized that there was a delivery attempt but no recipient was at the location which was impossible because 3 adults including myself were there. Called Purolator again and turned out that the new address was completely messed up and was not even close to my address. Gave them the correct address again, and told them that I will go to their warehouse to pickup the package in person. They said it's fine and I can do it. They gave me the address as in 1550 CreditStone Rd. Went there 2 hours later and I was told that the package is not there. I am still looking for the freaking package. Will give update later. It's such a drag that a "Canadian owned and operated" business is such a mess. No wonder "Canadian owned" businesses that have a US counterpart go out of business one after another. Customer service is rude in this location and never got my packages on time. Always had to pick it up because they can never find the buzzer number that is listed right beside the intercom. Canada Post, FedEx and UPS always dials the buzzer without me providing it so I had no problem with them. I was there today taking the buses, and the drivers I spoke to-from different buses lines-didn't know how to get there and where it was! I am just reading your same message as I can see the same picture I took today from 1550 Credistone Road in Markham. Also, when I asked the driver bus 107 C or D who was going north on Keele St, in the direction the closest to Purolator, the driver mentioned $4.00 to go and $4,00 to come back! I told him I was in Markham just on Monday, and I only paid $4,00, so why would I have to pay double than the price I paid to go to Markham? He asked from where did I take the bus? I told him I took it from Finch station. When he mentioned to pay for the TTC, I told him I already showed my metropass. He said OK! During my trip to nowhere, I asked him if he could contact someone at the TTC, such as a supervisor so that he could give me the right information to go to the Purolator's office, and his only response was he wasn't able to because...something about outside the zone, as we were in an area where he couldn't contact... Anyway! I got there past 12 noon and I was glad to be there before they close at 1:00 p.m. Before I left, I decided to call Purolator as I wanted to know was this envelope was and from whom? I spoke to the lady who checked and told me it was from Health Ontario, which surprised me as this envelope was 1 pound! I was told they could deliver it on Wednesday, but It could be delivered between 08h30 and 1h00 pm. Then I thought about it and decided to pick it up as I didn't want to stay and wait all day for an envelope I didn't know who was sending it and what this was all about? I waited for few people who were waiting ahead of me, and when it was my turn, I asked from where this envelope was coming from? The clerk left for almost 5 minutes and when she came back, she said it was from the Ombudsman, and then I understood the situation. I never got a phone call from the Patient Ombudsman's office telling me to pick up my document I left with them a week ago or so, and what was even more surprising was I didn't receive any email to explain to me the situation and why they were sending me back the documents without an explanation! Speaking of Purolator, I was there 2 years ago I believe, and I went there for another letter that needed to be signed, and I don't even remember what happened to that letter I couldn't get that day as it wasn't even there, and I never went back since. Canada Post is another loulou... I had to return to the post office my defective karaoke which was almost 40 lbs. I also had a previous situation when I had to go to the post office to pick up a purchase as I wasn't home when they tried to deliver it. I try to avoid any delivery as this becomes a situation I don't like to be in.
