I was in DC on vacation and thought I'd give the local market a try. Purple Penthouse's website offered 5x400mg nerd ropes for $100, plus the $20 delivery charge. Once I followed up and got them my id and a selfie (which they require, though the site only tells you they need your id when you check out), they asked me what I wanted to order without first explaining the product I had already ordered was out of stock, so I selected the "mystery edibles" deal for the same price, with five packages of edibles labeled anywhere from 350mg to 600mg. Now, I'm a tourist from Ohio. I regularly drive to the nearest legal state, Michigan, to shop in the legal market. there, I don't know that I've ever seen edibles of greater than 100mg listed on the packaging. They usually cost $10-15 each and I love them but that gets expensive so I rarely buy them. It takes about 50mg of MI edibles to get me reasonably buzzed, and the full 100mg is more than I want in a serving. The thought that these would be so much stronger made it sound like a good deal. These edibles are extremely weak, and there is no chance in hell they come ANYWHERE close to the stated dosage. In the past two days I've eaten four packages for an alleged combined dosage of somewhere around 2,050mg. At no point was I too buzzed for comfort, and I even had trouble falling asleep last night. In fact, because I also tried boosting it with a vape cart since the impact from the edibles was so minimal, I can't swear I got much of any effect at all from the edibles. Do they have THC in them? Yeah, probably. They sure smelled like weed gummies. But they did not get me high, even when consuming $80 worth over two days and consuming what is allegedly more than 10-20x what I should need for a good effect in that amount of time. There is just no chance in hell that the postage dosage has ANY basis whatsoever in reality. I am really kicking myself over making this order and throwing away $120 when I don't really make much money to begin with. Comparing them to dispensary carts and the actual product from the companies they're selling, I can confirm that their carts are fake. Failed in every single category; the liquid moves around way to quick to be 100% cannabis, packaging differs from Purple Penthouse's and the acutal companies' website, etc. Their shatter is also about as mid as the flower. First let me say that when somebody answers they have been interactive and engaging. Though one somebody gave me a different number v that was another company entirely who didn't carry anything near what they said.
