Very fun experience. For 90 mins of pure fun it has everything you need for a unique date experience. It is active and has something for everyone ranging from the very active individual who wants to run up a wall, the inner child who wants to ride around in a tricycle. Theres free arcade games, dodgeball, jumping castles for people who are tiring out or want to be less active. It is pretty upper body focused and can get tiring so don't come unless you want something that is an active sport like activity. There are also lots of cute spots to take beautiful photos. You are here for fun but also likely for photos. The staff are all lovely, high energy, walk around to offer to help take photos and provide any tips to clear the obstacles

Pursuit OCR is a "Chuckie Cheese for Adults" as my friends would call it, and I'd have to say I agree! It's definitely a playground for all ages and all levels of fitness. It was a great way to get moving, challenge yourself, and compete with your friends, without ever feeling like a workout! Key takeaways: - Come on a weekday and you or your group will practically have the place to yourselves! - Rather than shorts, wear long bottoms to avoid rope burn on some obstacles - Bring a lock! There are lockers in the common area, just at the front where you enter the playground. They are free to use, however, locks are not provided. Either bring your own or they're available to purchase at the front desk! If you find yourself stuck, there's usually another way around the obstacle! The tricycle track is a great place to finish. It doesn't look like much of a workout but the tires are huge and the resistance will definitely have you breaking a sweat. The best part? The giant ball pit! That doesn't sound like much right? Don't let its appearance fool you. It. is. deep. I made the mistake of cannonballing in; I sunk straight to the bottom and every wriggling effort to get up and out, just had the ball pit swallowing me whole. It was a struggle to get out, but so much fun! The place is huge and with covid prevention measurements, slots are limited. With the new capacity limits, you'll rarely see another group within your vicinity!

Loved it here! I've seen this place all over Tiktok but was pushed to come by my mom who visited for a work social. She wasn't physically able to do much on the course but still found it fun and thought we'd enjoy it more. We came as a group of 7 and went through the course to try it all. As huge American Ninja Warrior fans we've gained more respect for the athletes that can zoom through quickly! Each room/area is different and felt like a huge adult playground (exactly as advertised). It's around $22 per person for 90 minutes. The guy working there, Darryl, was so nice and helpful throughout our experience. Make sure you either bring a lock for the lockers or put loose things away in your car - they warned us about losing things in the ball pit and one of us didn't listen... Darryl told us about a Hakka place down the street and we visited after our sweaty pursuit. It was a great night and I'd probably visit again after working on my upper body and mobility haha!

What else is there to do on a super cold day in Toronto!? Go to an indoor obstacle course/adult playground!! Upon entering you have to fill out a waiver. There are changing rooms and lockers in the facility but make sure you bring a lock for the lockers! The place is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They don't hesitate to strike up conversation or give you helpful tips to get through certain obstacles. For $20CAD (or show your student ID for a discounted price) you get to go through a handful of different activities. There is no time restriction and you can leave and come back the same day if you'd like. Just keep your receipt for re-entry. The ball pit may seem harmless but it's definitely a challenge to get across to the other side because it swallows you up. It may not seem that deep but it definitely took some time for my friends and I to get to the other side. They also have a tricycle race track that's pretty fun because you can choose to race your friends. As someone who doesn't consider myself fit I liked how this place was designed to suit different fitness levels. I still had a great time challenging myself through each course. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a spot to get some exercise in.

Came here twice after their move and renovation - and both experiences had been great! The new location is relatively easy to find - with a big visible sign outside the warehouse. There's limited parking right in front of the main entrance - and additional parking around the side/back of the building if it's full. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to. They help answer any questions if you're not sure what to do - and I love their positive encouragement so that you don't feel intimated or overwhelmed. Basically, you pay ~$20 and you have a full day access to the facility. The facility is much bigger than their old one - with multiple change rooms and lockers available. I like how they also have a retro arcade area available (free of charge) - to play. In terms of the activities - they have a mini parkour section once you entered. Then there's different types of obstacles such as monkey bars, trampolines, tires, ropes, swings - all which really challenges your whole body strength. At the end of the course is a giant ball field to jump in. There's also the vertical ramp, which has been upgraded to go as high as 15 feet. And a mini bike course, where you ride a tricycle and race through like go-karting. The only thing I would've like better is if there were signs or directions on how to navigate the obstacles. Fully understand that you could do it however you want, but perhaps if it was shown to us how it's properly done, then people can work towards that format / setup. Overall I had a great time there - when you can go at your own pace, everyone is friendly and sharing. There are lots of area for you to sit / rest or simply chit-chat. Best to come in the morning or when it opens to avoid crowds - but it comes and go.

This place was really fun. We really enjoyed ourselves! The obstacle was smaller than I thought it would be. It was quite challenging and a lot of fun! Other than the course, there was a few other things you could try like the wall to run up. The staffs were friendly and lockers and locks are provided complimentary if needed. We spent about 1.5-2hours here. For $20 it's an excellent playground for adults!

Seen lots of cool videos on social around this area and decided to try it out myself! I came with a group of 6 on a Saturday night and the place was packed! First going in, someone was there to check whether you had been drinking or taking anything. If you are, you wouldn't be allowed as they need you to essentially be in your normal state and alert. The lobby and entrance area is where you need to sign the waiver and pay. It was around $22.60 (including tax) for me that night. Then heading in there will be the changing stalls on the right and washroom /skee ball machines on the left. They also provide lockers for your belongings but remember to need to bring your own lock. OCR is pretty huge inside! You can start anywhere and also get out or skip certain obstacle courses as you wish. For someone like me that doesn't have upper body arm strength, a lot of them were difficult and I had to skip. Otherwise it's all fun and enjoyable. My favourite was the half pipe and tricycle karting thing. It was tough but challenging at the same time. As for the ball pit, I almost sunk in it and needed help. It was interesting, yet really hard to get up and out. One thing I found lacking is that the staff were not sharing or guiding us. They were kind of just standing there in case you need them instead of proactively telling us about the obstacle courses and instructions. The one that's more interactive is at the half pipe where you need to run up. Overall, if you do one round of the full course as a group, you can spend approximately 1.5hr to 2hr there. There's no time limit so you can revisit any course any time and how ever many times!

I thought this was going to be one of those trendy activities (eg. axe throwing, archery tag) where you'll try once and wouldn't bother again. At the end, I came out with my butt kicked, but would be down to come back! A great work out for a very affordable price, $20 for an all-day pass or $15 if you have a group of 10 or more. Honestly, you'll be tired out by 2-3hrs anyways. It's day 2 since my visit and my arms still feel like noodles. I went for my friend's birthday and we had a reservation area upstairs on a porch-like structure. The spot had a long table and chairs, which allows you to bring food to host a party. The environment is very inviting with the lights and a ball pit so it does ease off the intimidation factor. The playground overall accommodates varying athletic abilities so everyone can find something that will challenge them just enough. No pressure if you can't do anything as the staff did mention the rules in the beginning -"no pussy calling allowed". The obstacle course was okay with a mix of climbing, tunnels, bouldering, monkey bars and balancing. But what draws the crowd is running the ramp up the wall... I'll be coming back one day to defeat it! Strangers kept coming up giving me pep talks and tips to run up the wall. What a friendly environment! Tips - Recommend wearing long tights/capris to protect from wooden splinters from the playground and skid marks from sliding the ramp. Avoid very thin leggings or be prepared for it to rip - Bring a lock - Bring footwear with good traction so you won't slide when you run up the ramp - Parking available at the back of the building - not sure if it's for this business but I parked there anyways with no trouble

This place is the best concept I've seen since Aerosports. I like it way better though, because there are no kids. It's an adult playground and definitely has some Instagram worthy optics. Place is very clean and the staff are all cheerful and extremely helpful. They also help you get your captures which is so so helpful. The orange ball jump is fun but don't think it's just a playful pit to have fun in. It is definitely difficult and will not hesitate to swallow you any chance it gets. The wire trip was cool.. I spent awhile trying to get out of that. My husband is definitely more fit than me so he had an easier time gettinthrough the obstacles. This place is a gym and I'm happy that I got my workout in. I found myself screaming to get out of certain positions.. took me back to childbirth actually... This place is the real deal. At first, I thought I was entering a place that was just an average basic obstacle course and that people probably come here for the Instagram photos.. boy, was I wrong and the soreness in my body the next day was a tell tale sign of how much I worked my body out. If you're looking for a fun fitness, gym experience then this is the place! It's cost $45 for 2 people to go which is an absolute steal. You can actually leave and come back.. I mean, come on?? That is amazing as most places don't allow you to leave and comeback. Only one thing sadly was a disappointment. They didn't have that big robot that I've seen on Instagram.. I really wanted a photo with it. I will be back!!

Strap on your grippy shoes and shake out your noodly arms. It's time to climb, jump, and play your way to a better body! This "gym" is honestly the most fun I've ever had at any gym. I didn't see any deadlift platforms or smith machines, but what it does have is one hell of an adult playground! (not that kinda adult playground ;) ) Pursuit OCR is, for a lack of better word, awesome. It's beautiful (look at those colour-changing lanterns) and every inch is filled with something interesting. In addition to the obstacle course, there are hanging ropes, chains, and gym equipment for people to use (or try to use) for just $20. They also have classes and some sort of cryogenic sauna room. Yes, freezing yourself CAN BE healthy! Onto the obstacle course itself, it actually wasn't bad at all! This is coming from someone who is terrified of heights. Seriously, I can't even go on top of monkey bars. But what I do have is an easy time succumbing to peer pressure. And with a little bit of motivation, I was able to pretty much do the entire course. It's always comforting to know that the course is designed so that you can bypass any part you don't want to do. And of course, there's the infamous wall. Do your best to run up that thing and feel like a ninja. Or, flop over on your bum and slide down. Everyone will cheer you on anyways. Patrons and staff alike were very helpful and encouraging. It's like being among friends. While I loved this place, I'm not sure how many times I can be back. Having run through the course 3x completely, it got a little predictable. My more flexible and daring friend actually wanted a more challenging course. Maybe in the future, there will be expansions. Regardless, if you want to increase your strength, improve your flexibility, and conquer your fear of heights, this is a fantastic place to do it. Jump to the sky and reach for the stars! Or fall in the ball pit. Either way, you'll have fun! (79/100) - 2016

Two words: BALL. PIT. Remember when you were a kid and climbing all over something was your favourite thing? Return to your roots and be a goofball again. Pursuit is the best place in Toronto for so many reasons. I was first hooked at the old space on Dufferin, and they have outdone themselves at their huge space in Etobicoke. The most incredible staff and facilities. Inclusive, bright, happy place for all fitness levels and comfort. They have navigated the shutdowns with such grace and attention to health and safety of everyone who comes through their doors. Grab your tickets soon, because they are in high demand! You will love everything about your experience at Pursuit.

Okay so first off, I'm no fitness/ gym junkie or anything but this place turned out to be lots of fun!! Just a heads up, if you show your student card, you can get a discount! So I came with a big group and we had so much fun going through the obstacle course, we definitely went more than once! From rock climbing, to jumping into a huge ball pit, to tricycle racing, you're sure to break a sweat. Came during the night and it started to get really busy pretty quick. The most popular thing everyone seemed to be going for was the huge wall to run up. Definitely a challenge that will make you feel so accomplished once you get past it. We all had a lot of fun and felt like little kids again. I would definitely come back with more friends, it was such a fun workout!

Pursuit OCR is pretty much a jungle gym/playground for adults. They had many obstacle courses such as monkey bars, rock climbing and even a tricycle path! I came on a Saturday at 6pm and it was full. The good thing is that you don't have to line up long for each game. Most people there were very courteous and you basically just go when its your turn. I think the best part was that everyone just cheered and clapped for each other (whether you finished an obstacle course or not), which made it a very enjoyable and motivating! It's also only $20 + tax for as long as you want! We stayed there for around 2 hours. Definitely more fun to come with a group of friends! They also had some arcade games in the front. My favourite had to be the tricycle course. It was fun, yet not too challenging to finish. I really loved all the illuminating lights as well. Tip: bring an ID as they would need to verify that you are over 18. If you need to change, better off bringing a lock with you to secure your belongings. I would highly recommend bringing workout gloves too as I ended up getting some blisters on my palm after doing some of the obstacle courses.

Look at all the neon lights, ouuuu shineeeey.

For example, Gail Kim, the former WWE Women's Champion used to workout here few years back. I think they continue that tradition by sponsoring local athletes. A local business that is giving back to the community, is there anything more beautiful? So space management: There are plenty of free weights to go around. About 20 feet, double rows of free weights with mirrors running all the way + barbell selection is good. Good bench press selection. Usually some gyms have the regular and incline only, so you need to get creative for the declined position, well this gym has 2! and about 5 regulars and 3 inclines + a plethora of adjustable benches. A good healthy selection for those who like to run, they have everything from tread mills to various step machines and ellipticals. One excellent thing about this gym is that people actually do come here to workout. In other words, there is minimal level of gym rats. What are gym rats you ask? It's those people who come to the gym to hang out and not actually work out. Good selection of stationary stations as well. Nicely spaced out so that everyone has plenty of room to workout. I think Fitness 365 really shines when it comes to classes. These are not your run of the mill classes folks! Their classes are taught by athletes. People who make their living my training their body to the peak level! I took their boxing class and no joke, it was taught by a real boxer. The dude was so fit, he had like 3% body fat, insane right? Ridiculously awesome class. The classes range from Zoomba, Yoga, Kickboxing, Boxing, MMA, and Spinning. Changing room is little old school in the mens', but you know what? there is definitely a certain charm to it's old schoolness. It's kept clean, well maintained and with communal shower area. Overall really great experience here, the staff is knowledgeble and very friendly. Trainers sometimes come by and give you tips which is great! The protein shake is actually not bad either... I went for the 6 months special at the time, pay upfront option. My special was around $240 for a 6 month membership. I was a black card holder and I would take my coworkers with me sometimes. I have been attending the gym and scanning my guest barcode as instructed by the employees. All this time I was never told to scan my code in addition so I felt the barcode I was scanning for my guest was for both since the guest is associated with my membership. I went in as usual and I scanned my guest barcode and was proceeding to use the gym as usual when Mr. Kwabs walked me down halfway through the gym to humiliate me. First he was asking if I had scanned my guest so i told him yes and showed him my phone .Then he said I needed to scan my barcode as well. Now don't get me wrong if this is the rule then this is the rule however, I was never asked to do this before so of course I told him I was never asked to do this before and that they should ensure all staff follow the same protocols to avoid confusions. This owner /manager did NOT think for a second that this was a teachable moment for him to let his staff know they should ask the members to double scan when they have guest. Instead he had an attitude and proceeded to cancel my membership. Honestly we are all adults and even though I was completely annoyed with him because of his approach at the end of the day I did not use curse words, threaten or raised my hands to him.
