Ambiance - casual, classy. However, I was disappointed by their rest room. It was not up to par with even the most basic restaurant restrooms. Just have me the icks. If not for the restroom, I would have given this 5-stars.
Service - excellent. We were warmly greeted and given containers to hold our purses. Our water glasses were always filled and they even changed our plates several times so we always had clean plates.
Food - everything we ordered tasted excellent. When I heard my sister order the dishes (she introduced us to this restaurant and had been here several times with her family), I thought the dishes would taste bland. For example, she ordered a fried taro dish, patola vegetable, squid, tofu and yellow croaker (one steamed, one fried). I ordered chili clams to counter what I thought would be uninteresting dishes. When the dishes arrived, they all looked appetizing and tasted amazing! The fried taro was crispy sweet (my favorite), the homemade tofu was so silky and velvety and had somewhat of a sweet flavor. Each dish tasted different but all of them were spectacular. Everything tasted fresh. The flavors were unmistakably Singaporean. Love this place! read more
