This is an awesome public library with a great kids area that is sectioned off and secluded so your kids are able to make some noise/play without disturbing others. The kids area has a lot of toys and books in great condition. The library also has story time for the kids, play groups and more. My family and I enjoy coming here every time. The restrooms have always been well kept each time I've visited. The library also has security walking around. The parking lot is big so no hassle in that area either. I haven't utilized any other aspect of this library, but there's a lot of resources available for the community. Overall: amazing library compared to others in the area!

So many people raved about this library, I knew I had to see it. The design is great for a library including the inside and outside. Hands up, I am an avid reader, a lover of books and so a visit here was just such a treat. However, even if reading and books aren't your passion - it is a delight to walk around, and even more of a delight to see how well used this wonderful facility is. If you want to experience the entire library then visit on the weekdays. The staff was really nice and helpful regarding how to get around the library. It's in a great location, in close proximity to the park and spray park. Absolutely love this library!

Definitely worth the visit. Two floors of pure comfortability to relax and read a book, surf the internet or enjoy some piece and quite. Kids area is nice and festive. They were having a kiddie field trip.

Only a four star because I'm not a Library person. I only went to because I was walking with my wife and she wanted to return her book, and we do our HOA meetings there. But its a nice Library, very clean, and has TONS of books of all kinds. I was really impressed with the amount and types. The people at the counter are friendly people. Their meeting places are nice and good sizes. Little note for some they play a movie once a week in one of their meeting rooms. So to me thats cool, and they are always putting on something for the community there. So if your looking for a good place to become a book worm I'd start here. Oh and becareful not to be to loud there are people sleeping in there. Found that funny.

The Puyallup public library is a well maintained, efficient, large, quiet facility. It's my getaway sanctuary. I'm a book worm (foodie too)what can I say? A stack of books and a comfortable place to read and I'm in my element. Going to the library always beats going to Barnes & Noble. You have way more chairs and no pressure / obligation to buy books! As long as I can remember, I've loved going to library since I was an elementary student and my father would drop my sister and I off at Wheaton, MD regional library during the summer s while he was at work. 9 hours later after work he'd pick us up. This love for libraries continued through high school and college when my best friend James and I would drive into Washington D.C. and sit and do our homework for hours on end in the Thomas Jefferson reading room in the Library of Congress. Yes, Puyallup sure has a gem of a facility here. Jillian was fantastic in setting up my library card. If only they were open on Sundays. #HappyPanda

I really do love this library.

This is a nice small town library with nice conference rooms, study areas, and the kids area is great. I usually just stop in to borrow a new audio book for my commute. The librarians are always helpful. They also have a decent sized digital library where you can borrow ebooks for your Nook or iPad. I am not sure if they have the Kindle format available though.

This library is super organized and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in til the time you leave. The coolest thing I saw was the backpack you can rent when going to parks/trails that come with a map, binoculars, free park access and so much more. I don't even think people know how much access a library card can give you. Having a library card isn't just for book access. You can rent movies, tapes, computer access, print, fax. You even can have access to free resources such as help with resume, job search, entrepreneurship, business, you name it! I encourage everyone to go to your local library and get yourself a library card for you and your kid(s) if you have any and definitely take good advantage on what they have to offer. The process didn't even take 5 minutes. Even donate if your heart guides you to. P.S. the library card options are actually cute too. Not just a simple boring plastic card. Lol.

The first was parking around the road of a roundabout with a hoisted rocks art piece in the center. The second was a lot tucked behind and across from parking on one side of the roundabout. The entrance to the building was easy to spot and benches to the side of the entrance and in the entryway were in use by library patrons. Inside the entrance and to the right were water fountains, restrooms, and group rooms/spaces for different usage. There was abundant work space with table(s) and computer(s). Chairs/other seating was available throughout the library. In the non-fiction section I found the aisles labeled by approximate topic. Looking for something in finance/economics, I found the section in a second row of the stacks. One book on the restaurant industry from an operations perspective caught my eye, so I went with that one. Self check out stations were located across from the main walkway from the entrance into the library. Checking out was straightforward and both the computer and receipt printer had no issue(s). Librarian stations were located off to one side, opposite the side with the water fountains and multi-use rooms, closer to the entrance.

Once inside, it was quiet and calm with what seemed like a variety of random services available, though I didn't explore them in detail. Printing is affordable, with $1.50 of free credit per day and reasonable rates at $0.15 for black and white and $0.50 for color. Parking was no issue at all. It was spacious and easy to access. On a sunny day, the lot even felt a little scenic. Overall, it's a solid local library with a peaceful atmosphere. JY review

The staff is all super nice and helpful on helping me checkout the books for my son. They didn't mind that my son was yelling slightly even though I felt bad about it; he went to the back counter and instead of telling me to get him out and making me uncomfortable they made him feel welcomed and spoke to him nicely.
