The notaris found it entertaining to direct offensive passive aggressive jokes towards me on the basis of my nationality. During our final session he continued talking over me and interrupting me and when I confronted him about his condescending treatment he got absolutely infuriated. He then continued complaining about me to my partner in Dutch while I was sitting right in front of him. I am absolutely appalled and shocked to have undergone such treatment at a notary in Amsterdam. To add insult to injury, two months after our final session (we had cleared out all the bills in due time) we started getting calls and threatening emails from them compelling us to pay an additional bill of 399 euros for additional services which they did not provide(for which we have filed an official complaint). The level of moral bankruptcy is shocking.
