"Not in the Old Town, but who cares..."…read more If you ever are up near the teaching hospital for an unexpected vacation, as I found myself this month; while on a Rhine tour encountering a family medical emergency and needing the services of a local hospital. This hotel is within a 10-min walking distance from the front entrance of the Hospital of the Univ. of Strasbroug. The hotel in my opinion should be a 5-star. It has a decent breakfast for 13 Euro and rates are moderately prices in the 100 Euro range. Rooms are spacious by European standards and the bathrooms are magnificent, Modern and comfortable ... a tram ride down town to the historic district is necessary.

Breakfast is ok - fresh fruit, croissant, coffeemaker (unfortunately not using fresh, but pre-heated milk)... so average, but nothing breathtaking. Another disadvantage: quiet far out Be reminded that there are two Rue du Marechal Foch in the area. Youhave to go for the one in Lingolshaim. By bus take the 50 and get of at Tanneries.
