    We pulled up the backside and was like hmm this looks sketchy. But once we unpacked and laid in the comfy bed and checked out the amenities, this hotel was inviting and staff was super friendly! I'm writing this review to give a shout out to the man who took care of us at breakfast on Sunday, 07/30/23 We were a family of 12 and he was amazing with the kids and gave outstanding customer service to us out of towners! Wish I could remember his name! Our room was 317! If the manager could give him a shout out! He was absolutely amazing! Wheelchair accessible for my nephew! Comfy beds Clean bathrooms Friendly staff Just a few blocks from souvenirs, cafe beignet, restaurants!

    Excellent location. Excellent value in terms of the room. Comfy beds. Excellent bar and dining options, with commendable service in both. Courteous front desk staff. Heck, even the valet was super-friendly. I have only one reason I can't give this place a solid 5, but it is kind of a big deal. The housekeeping crew piled up dirty linens and collected garbage in the hallways, and left it overnight. I observed this on multiple floors, in some cases piled waist-high. It was there when I first checked in. It remained overnight, in spite of the evening manager being notified. The piled up linen is unsightly, but the accumulated garbage is downright unsanitary. Also, it kind of smells. Do better, Q&C. The interior of the hotel should not look/smell like the streets outside.

    My wife and I had an amazing time visiting New Orleans and a great time staying at the Q&C Hotel. The hotel's restaurant/bar in the lobby provided excellent service (thanks to Tammy), delicious food, and drinks! We enjoyed everything we tried. The pizza and blackened chicken sandwich were particularly delightful, and the old fashioneds were crafted perfectly. These guys really know what they're doing! The rooms offer a wonderful rustic ambiance with genuine hardwood floors and all the modern comforts you'd expect from a high-end hotel. The hotel staff was equally wonderful! I highly recommend staying at the Q&C Hotel if you ever visit New Orleans (it's just a short walk from Bourbon Street), or at least, drop by their bar for some fantastic food and drinks.

    Friendly staff, clean hotel, cozy room a few blocks from bourbon street and other attractions without the noise. Able to check-in/ our and chat with staff on the app, which was convenient. We were only in for a night before taking off on a cruise, but the convenient location meant we had plenty of time to do late-night and morning exploration before leaving; love being able to stow our bags after check-out in the morning. Fridge in room. Great sized shower. Room service available. Full bar in lobby (happy hour 4-7pm) with Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner options. Bar defers to local spirits when making drinks which we loved, but be sure to learn more before ordering as we found the local gin they were using to have a licorice-taste which we weren't fond of. Lobby was small, so we didn't spend a lot of time there hanging out / didn't eat meals at the hotel. Doors are key-entry only at night. This hotel is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, so look forward to a fun, artsy vibe. Affordable for the area -- price reflects location and Marriott member prices/ specials available.

    This hotel has a very fun vibe and trendy feel with a very lively but compact lobby. What made this hotel special to me was my experience with the front desk. They were so warm and welcoming even though I had to wait for a room to open I did not mind. The rooms had updated marble bathrooms and the rooms nicely designed with old wood and polished cement floors. You do not feel like you were in relegated to a standard box. The rooms were relatively small and cozy. There are plenty of outlets. The location is excellent for French Quarter access. However, there were a few drawbacks. Given the hotel's appeal to trendiness, they assume people will work in the crowded lobby, so you only one one wooden chair in the room. Its New Orleans, so maybe you were only there to eat and it will not matter but if you need to work, you will out of luck in your room. Also, the walls seemed thin and you could easily hear festive guests in nearby rooms.

    Q and C doesn't stand for quality and control. After the first night I woke up with an itchy arm and noticed 3 distinct red bumps on my arm. I suspected to be BED BUG BITES!!!!!! I decided to investigate and when I removed the top sheet I found blood, urine, lipstick, dirt, and possibly semen on the blanket. When the manager finally responded to my email; he had no empathy for my situation. So I decided to take more pictures to leave this review. What I found was even more disturbing. The mattress had been drenched with urine and thouroughly soiled. This hotel is squalid! Even the halls are dirty. Top down failure at this fleabag motel! DON"T STAY HERE!!!! See pictures but I warn you; you will never want to stay in a hotel ever agian. Absolutely disgusting!

    The room & bathroom were a bit small but still wonderful. Noise level was and cleanliness was very good!

    Yes but for a cost and valet. This is one downside to hotel but for the location it understandable...

Despite being old, the hotel is very clean and impressive, and the staff works hard to make the stay hospitable. I was also very happy to see them providing 2 bottles of water per night (I'm Diamond for reference so not sure of the criteria), which really helped considering the constant 90+ degree weather (also I'm a kidney donor so dehydration is a huge concern and danger to me when I'm traveling). One funny thing was I didn't get a Do Not Disturb sign, but no matter. After my first night, housekeeping also left some bathrobes and a piece of mint chocolate on each nightstand, which was a cute touch. I was impressed by the hotel's restaurant called the Fountain Lounge. While I didn't see a fountain, I enjoyed eating here daily, whether it was for breakfast, lunch, Chef's Happy Hour, or dinner. While hotel restaurant these days seem to have a bad rep for being both overpriced and boring, the dishes here were both a delight and competitive compared to a lot of quality sit-down restaurants nearby. It was good to see, as Waldorf Astoria was the brand that made eating out fashionable in the first place back before any of us were born. To set expectations, I don't expect perfection in this day and age as long as the basics are done right, and I even ran across some issues. But the staff were very willing to reasonably fix things so I can leave with a good experience, such as the front desk staff that fixed a check-in/credit issue, and a big shout-out to Ari, the F&B Manager who made my day on an unusually unlucky day for me. Next time I return, I do want to try more of their cocktails as they had many interesting ones. Sadly I started getting a fit of allergies, which may be related to the shampoo. They use Aesop products, which are high quality, but personally I find the fragrance strong and the shampoo seem to have some tree oil that makes my nose very unhappy. I may have to remember to bring my own shampoo next time, which is really unfortunately, but is no fault of the hotel. They do have valet parking, but sadly no EV charging. There are also many parking garages nearby for an extended stay if you don't mind carrying all your bags to and from the hotel. It is a full service hotel however, so count on that if you need a hand! The location is good as well, as it sits right on the border of the French Quarter near Canal St, meaning you'll probably be able to get better sleep than being right in it, but it's also right next to public transit and a very short walk away from Bourbon St. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. They also have an outdoor "rooftop" pool (I believe it was the 4th floor) with a bar. Impressive that this hotel has 3 bars, including the hotel. I didn't see a gym, but they seemed to have spa service if you're big on that. Definitely my hotel of choice when I visit NOLA again!

The shower with the pressure jets and the overhead shower was something we never experienced before. The room and the service and the attentiveness to every little detail was crazy impressive. They reorganized our tooth brushes and tooth paste. They put a little cup on our counter with the water bottles. The bathrobes inside the closet. Was out of this world amazing. The amenities included the pool, a gym, several restaurants, and beautiful decor throughout the entire hotel. Alexis our concierge and desk agent was superb. Lastly, this was close to everything in the French quarters so it's super convenient. Can't wait to come back again!

The 2 things I care most about when staying in a hotel is a comfortable night's rest and a good bathroom/shower. The bed in our room was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life. It was so mushy that when you laid your head down, you sunk so far into it that your legs were literally 45 degrees above your head. I ended up sleeping upside down in the bed with my head where your feet go in order to feel even remotely comfortable. The pillows were all extremely flat, when you put your head on one it sank so far your face was about 1/2 inch from the mattress. I had to use 3 pillows stacked on each other. I had a stiff back, neck and joints the entire time we were there. The 2nd issue was hot water. The first morning, we attempted to shower, it only got barely luke warm for me and when my husband showered immediately after he only got ice cold water. We stopped at the front desk that morning on our way out for the day and told the woman at the front desk. She said she hadn't received any other complaints so it must be specific to our room and she would send engineering there to look at it. (we were getting hot water in the sink). Later that evening when we returned to our room, we immediately tested the shower again and it was still ice cold. So we went back to the front desk to check if engineering had come. We spoke to the same woman from the morning who acted like it was the first time we were telling her this and she said the exact same thing. I asked if they were going to come ASAP because we needed to shower soon and we couldn't take ice cold showers. She ignored my question and answered the ringing phone. A manager happened to be at the desk and overheard our conversation. He asked what our room number was and said that because of the old building and the pipes the hot water takes longer to get there. He said this was a KNOWN Issue by the staff, management and the owner. He told us to run the shower for AT LEAST 15 to 20 minutes, simultaneously with the sink and it should get hot. He also offered to move us to a different room but when I asked if he could guarantee if we wouldn't have the same problem in that room he couldn't give me a straight answer. We had already unpacked everything and didn't want to go through that hassle without a guarantee. So we went back to the room and let it run for 20 minutes and it eventually got hot. So for the remaining 3 mornings, we had to set our alarms for 30 minutes earlier so we could get up and run our shower before hand. For nearly $300 a night, we felt that this was ridiculous. Old building or not, if its a problem, then either don't put people in those rooms, or get it fixed somehow. Why should anyone be subjected to an ice old shower or an inconvenience to their time because the owner hasn't done anything about it? We visited the hotel Bar, the Bourbon O'bar 3 times during our stay and each time we received TERRIBLE service. None of the bartenders were friendly to us, in fact they were pretty rude. Each time it took them at least 10 minutes to even take our order (by standing there and looking at us and not saying anything). The bar was not busy or crowded any of these times. They would then start making one of our drinks, put it down and make other people's drinks, leave and go into a back room, play on their cell phone, talk to each other, or carry the glass around while doing other things. My husband ordered an old fashioned and the alcohol was sitting in the jar with the ice for over 5 minutes while the bartender carried it around doing other things, causing it to get watered down. When making a cocktail, it should be completed from start to finish without doing other things in the middle. I ordered the Mardi Drop cocktail on 2 different days. The first time, it was actually very good. The 2nd time from a different bartender it was horrible .He also sprinkled probably a tablespoon of cinnamon on top of it (which the first didn't have) which made it nearly undrinkable. I had to stir it into the martini in order to not get a mouthful of cinnamon with each sip. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant Roux because of the bad Yelp reviews - we felt we could get a better breakfast elsewhere outside the hotel. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all unless you don't care about being comfortable or friendly service.

At check-in the rep asked "did you mean to book that room?" Yes we did!! We originally requested a 3rd floor private balcony but were given a 4th floor private balcony and oh hell yea was this perfect. Open the French doors and the cacophony of Bourbon St. envelopes the room; it's everywhere. But close the French doors and it's quiet; how I don't know but perfectly comfortably quiet for us. Added bonus, this being Easter, our 4th floor balcony gave us such a fantastic viewing spot to watch the colorful sights coming down Bourbon heading to the gay Easter parade a few blocks away. Our room also gave us a great vantage point for watching sunrise with the St.Louis Cathedral steeple in the foreground. On our final night we decided to order take-out to enjoy from our balcony; dinner and a show essentially, and cheaper too. Hotel is centrally located on Bourbon, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, complimentary coffee available around 6am (big plus given it's normally 7am everywhere else) made this a perfect hotel for us.

It was paid for in full before we arrived. When we requested our money to be released, we were told that we would have to contact our bank. Upon doing so, on a 3-call with the hotel, the bank was showing that the merchant was in control of the funds not the bank. Then I was told that the hotel had a new system and they are working out the bugs. Then I get a call from the hotel asking if I would approve them to hold out the parking fee. I still haven't gotten my money credited back to my account. Save yourself the aggravation and the mental anguish....find another hotel.

But the staff at the Ritz were the most hospitable and welcoming set of people I have ever met. The concierge sent me texts and welcomed any requests I had. And the wonderful staff left a sweet treat in my room for my birthday. There was coffee served in the lobby every morning, and warm beignets served in the afternoons. I can't wait to come back to this gem! Thank you all for such a wonderful and much needed experience!

No car needed, so when your cab pulls up at your new digs you are already on a first name basis with everyone greeting you. Right this way to check in-you'll be in the Club Level. When they details the hours and bites or drinks in the club level, pay attention. You're paying for it so take advantage. You could get by eating and drinking there all day. Pellegrinos to the room at night, or a fresh round of roadies that you just take right out to the streets. Reload as needed. The room was comfy and luxurious. The gym is huge, and there's a hot tub! They've got everything covered. Splurge and enjoy yourself at what's one of my finest travel experiences.
