My experience at Q Nails is always great. I only come here for pedicures, no where else! The prices are reasonable & I know I will walk out with well done toes. I've had a lot of nail technicians here & all of them are great. Julie just did my pedicure today & she was very kind, gentle, & very detailed. I do remember two months ago I had a toenail chip & the color came off with it & I returned fully okay with paying for them to fix it, but they fixed it at no cost! I do feel that they care for their customers. The vibe is always so relaxing! The music is a soothing piano vibe & it's usually nice and quiet. read more

I just moved to the area and have come here 5ish times so far. I really like this place. The manager (Emily i believe) is the absolute sweetest and always makes sure everything is right. My dip sets last 3+ weeks if I need them to. My only cons: - other salons I have been to regularly send 15-25% off texts. Q nails doesn't seem to participate in this... besides the 10% off for my birthday. - they don't have a "bar". (And if they do, it's never been offered.) most places I've been to at least have wine / mimosas. -they DO charge extra for the tip, and then extra to shape the tip they just put on. Kinda odd. BUT - they do last forever and don't break so the extra $5 may be worth it. It's been 3 weeks so take the picture with a grain of salt. They are still intact, shape was great. read more

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with a manager and they are going to make this right. That's all I ask. I am thoroughly impressed with how quickly I received a response with a resolution and WILL go back to give them another shot. Thank you! Okay so this is my second time to come here. I really enjoyed my first visit and got a great gel pedicure. I came back today for a gel pedi and I'm so upset!! I asked the woman not to cut, only file, my toenails. I thought to myself after a lot of cuticle cutting, "wow, she really is taking a long time with those cuticle trimmers..." I look down and the side of my big toenail has been clipped right off! It's painful and looks like complete sh**. THEN I get home and am inspecting my toes and see that she didn't even cover my entire big toe with clear gel polish and all of my little toes are only half painted with clear coat! (See photos) So I have one effed up big toenail that I have to live with for a few months while it grows back out and the other big toe isn't even painted properly. This was NOT a cheap pedi and I'm super upset. This is a NO for me! Thank GOD I have my own gel kit at home so I could fix the clear coat myself but the whole point of going to get my toes done is so I don't HAVE to fix them at all. There is no email for me to send my grievances to, so I'm posting on here. Owners, please make this right!! read more

I've been here twice. The first time my manicure lasted for over a month. I got dip. I just went again and my nails look so good like this is the best dip at manicure I've ever had. The pedicures are great too!! The staff is so sweet, it's never super loud or busy when I go and it's very clean. read more

Best quality nail salon in Richardson, they prepped my nails in such details and even with intense hiking/sports not a chip broke off. Even though I moved out of Richardson, the 20 minutes drive is worth it. read more

This is me and my moms go to place for a pedi when I'm are in town. The prices are very very good compared to where I live. The lady doing mine did an amazing job and they have a wonderful selection of colors to choose from. Me and my mother got a level two. It's an amazing price. Hot stones feel amazing. read more

I went to this place after my daughter in law recommended it . My nail person was out of the country and I needed a new set of Next Gen / dip nails with a few tips. My granddaughter had tips and next gen/ dip also. Our nails look and still look great 12 days later. Go try it out . It's off Campbell in Richardson. read more

Went in and got greeted by very nice man Then Kimmie helped me she was also very nice polite. I got a dip powder coffin nails and a pedicure total 72 I got a 10% off for using the yelp coupon:) I was highly satisfied and recommend this place to anyone They offered complimentary water and constantly helping you by asking if you think everything is good or looking good. This is my go-to place. Nothing fancy, but clean with a hint of trying to look upscale. The people are friendly and it is a comfy salon. I usually call ahead to make an appointment, but I will tell you that sometimes it doesn't matter much. Judging workload and the availability of nail techs is not their strong suit. It is reasonably priced and I feel it is a good value. read more

I took my mother here for a pedicure for her 92nd birthday! It was part of a mother daughter day which also included lunch at The Chocolate Angel and boutique shopping there in the same shopping center. The salon is very clean and staff was very friendly. Foot massage felt wonderful too! It was so nice being pampered in a quiet spa like setting. Thanks Q!! read more

I heard about this location from a friend and I was unsure at first because I've never gotten my nails done at a salon before. Needless to say, their service exceeded my expectations. The technicians there were kind, patient, and helpful. They also had a good variety of colors to choose from and it all worked out. Even though I did show up one hour before closing (which was bad on my part), my technician, Kimmie, took her time and didn't rush. I'm not used to how dip/nexgen should feel so I'm not too bothered my the extra weight. It might just take some time getting used to. If I ever need to treat myself I'll definitely come back! read more

Honestly disappointed. At first I was thrilled with my nails and the lady who did them was very sweet. She accidentally cut my nail bed when preparing my nails for the acrylics, but I brushed it off since accidents do happen. That should have been my first red flag though. When I went to pay I was charged $60 for a service I believe was going to be around $48-- I got an acrylic refill and a gel polish, nothing wild or fancy. Once I got home, I noticed that the polish was lumpy and bubbling up in place which has never happened to me before. The next day I decided to take a bath and WHOLE CHUNKS of polish fell of my nails. I feel ridiculous for paying $60 for such a shabby job. I live in NOLA so this was me trying to find a place in a hurry but even still the fact that my new nails didn't even last 24hs is ridiculous. read more

$42 for level 2 pedicure. Extra $20 for gel pedi. $40 NexGen (Dipping Powder) manicure. Extra $5 for Almond shape. Extra $5 for cleaning cuticles, Extra $5 for Tip Extensions, Extra $5 for removing my old gel color on 3 nails. So the total is $117 and l ended up paying $129 after tipping the girls!This is insane!!! Nothing is free in this saloon but the water bottle that l asked for because they didn't even ask me what to drink PS girls not so friendly and didn't say w word to me not even smiling and the one who did my pedi was horrible in massaging .. never back. read more

They got me in on short notice on a Saturday. The technician did an excellent job on my manicure (gel). I often feel they don't make a good effort to cover the entire nail b/c they don't want to paint your cuticles and they end up leaving a lot of nail not painted with gel. Not here. She (Tina I think was her name!?) did an excellent job. Her attention to detail was awesome. The place felt drab (which makes me worry about cleanliness) but it was a great experience otherwise. Next time I'll get a pedi too to see how it goes. Overall positive experience. read more

I really like this place! It's cute inside and the ladies are super sweet. They have a 10% off from Monday-Thursday, and they'rservices are pretty normal priced ($35 for dip, $30 for gel) I got dip/nexgen nails for the first time and I'm a little underwhelmed. They feel very thick like acrylic nails that I stopped getting because they felt so unnatural. My technician was Amy and she was great! I can tell she definitely tried her best and I appreciate that but my nails are pretty chunky looking and there is polish/powder all over my skin. I'm definitely going to give them a second chance with gel polish because the place itself is nice but the dip powder is a no go for me. Update: I think they definitely saw my review from last time because they were a little more picky with making sure my nails came out clean and shaped well this time! Also the receptionist asked me if everything was okay this time, and honestly my nails look so much better this time! Kimmie did so good on my gel nails and my pedicure was spot on. I was in search of a place that could do pristine nail designs. I had a picture and everything ready. My friend recommended this place for their pedicures so I made an appointment. When I called, I asked the lady that answered if they could do it and she said to send her a picture over. She confirmed that they could so I gave it a go! One of the ladies did my pedicure and she was very gentle and precise with the nail color. This gentleman sat me down after and said he would try his best with the nail design. They did not have nail tape and I chose to do shellac so he said it would be a challenge but not impossible! It took a while for him to do it and I was semi happy when done because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. I'm glad that he was patient and tried his best otherwise. I just hope they have nail tape or the tools needed next time so that my nails are done quicker and there are no harsh lines! read more

Gel nails lifted at the cuticles after less than a week. I emailed to make an appointment for repair but they never responded. I went ahead and just popped in- to their credit very nice about repairing but their fix was to add another topcoat. No surprise it started peeling the next day. read more

I started going to the salon a few months ago. The gentleman that I saw retired. Tim was nice enough to take care of me. After that I love going to the same person. I really appreciate that. He's very gentle and he doesn't overdrill my nails ( i am also a nail technician ) I really appreciate how thoughtful he is and how accommodating everyone is. I have not had any lifting issues on my nexgen or problems with cracking. They always take care of me very well. read more

My dip manicure is just okay. At first I loved it, but after a day I could see some issues. I got a dip French manicure with a design. If you look you can see specks of the dip powder left on my nails, so it's not very clean. They also didn't give me 10% off when I came in on a Monday at 12:30 even though it says they have a discount during that time. I got ombré dip powder nails with tips and she checked in with me to make sure they weren't too long which is something I was a bit nervous about. Overall great experience! Love the customer service here and they do get really busy towards summer so be sure to book an appointment if you want your nails done before then! They value quality and time when it comes to getting your nails done, because I noticed how they would double check to see if the details were perfect while also trying to get the job done efficiently. Probably the best nail spa I've been to in the area! I've tried out a few places ever since I moved here and the experiences have been ok to lackluster. One of my girlfriends recommended this place and it's now my go to whenever I need to get a dip manicure. I only come here on my lunch break Monday-Thursday since they have a 10% off check in offer and I'm in and out in about 45 minutes. Usually this was my go to spot on a Sunday, I wanted a French tip with glitter on the white part only. I showed her a photo of what I wanted as well and she told me she could do it. So I let her do her thing and she just kept asking me if I liked it or not throughout the entire process. I'm not the type to be mean but I continued the service anyways.... It took her two hours to complete and I was really upset that I cried after I left.. I didn't want to speak up because I knew she was trying her best and this was my worst experience here compared to the other times I've came and my nails were great. But for what it was worth was $70 plus a $20 tip it wasn't worth it. Why tip? Well like I said I'm not mean or greedy and they have a family to feed too. I just know I won't be coming back here anymore after this... this place is more for people that just like a regular mani pedi with paint, ask about long nails they will be hesitant so I went with a mid size length... but this was just not it.. read more

When I moved to Dallas three years ago, I had no idea where to go for nail services (or anything else.) A friend recommended Q Nails and I've been a loyal customer ever since! There was a short period of time when I had to go to another nail salon due to a conflict with the operating hours for Q Nails and my work schedule. During that time, Q closed for renovations. When they reopened, I called to make an appointment and when they answered they said "Hi Stacey, how can we help you?" After months of not coming to their shop they still had my information and were happy to have me back! And might I mention that the renovated shop looks amazing!! I've recommended this shop to all of my friends and some drive from as far as McKinney or Little Elm to get their services. Great work, friendly staff, and a really nice experience. read more

I was home visiting my fam, and wanted to pop in for a little treat. The moment I walked in to Q, I was immediately impressed. I was told they recently renovated - kudos to their team cause the place is gorgeous! Everything was so clean and the atmosphere was perfection. Warning: Those pedicure chairs will put you to sleep and you'll never want to get off. Can't wait to go back home to "see family" again! read more

BEWARE! NINA and the rest of them are money hungry thieves who is overpriced for basic quality She lies about her prices The first time I went I got the exact same set with design plus pedicure and my total was $114 This time I went I only got a new set the exact same one like the first time and she charged me $90 She did nothing different and the set looks worse than the first one How come I got the same set as the first and paid less ?!! We spent 7hrs and the result is amazing. After all that my hair still healthy, smooth and shiny. I have nothing to say but highly recommended Jenny if you are very selective of your hair stylist, give her a try you won't regret it.

A few weeks ago, after reading the reviews and having been familiar with the Frederic Fekkai…read moresalons, I came for a 1" trim to my long-time, blunt-cut, medium-length (3 inches below the chin), slightly angled bob, beveled a bit underneath at the nape. It was quickly dried and styled in center or side parts, with lots of volume, lift and swing. Elegant and easy. Derek said he couldn't understand me. I should have left immediately. What I have now is an inexplicable cut, 2-5 " off, barely chin length, huge amounts of hair removed, wispy layers everywhere, and texturizing. He has activated a mass of waves and curls never seen before. From the front, the shape is a cartoonish wide diamond. From the sides, a fat wedge. This is the opposite of what is required for copious, European, fine, porous hair with a nape curl and minimal wave. Derek basically has created a White girl Afro. He somehow dried it beautifully, disguising the weird architectural structure by using a tiny brush on myriad narrow strands, drying them straight, and contorting them via elaborate manual sculpting techniques, product and nearly an hour of work. Maybe he planned to do twice-weekly blowdries on it. I have spent many days and dollars elsewhere experimenting with product, techniques and professional advice while attempting to cope. Derek pleasantly refunded the charges and apologized for the "inconvenience." This is far worse than inconvenient.

I used to go to this salon for haircut and perm for several years. Last month I went because I forgot why I stopped going for 5 years. I showed the owner a picture of what I wanted the curls and the hairstyle to look like. I always thought it was our responsibility to tell the hairstylist instead of let them improvise. I waited almost an hour. I had to tell them the rollers were too hot. I had to tell them the timer went off. Unsurprisingly, my hair was fried. At the end, I was told to go with the wet hair so that the curls would stay. It doesn't look remotely like the picture I showed. I understand the hair in the picture was styled with a lot of products, but my curls looked like I did it myself. I am never going again. I need to remember that.
