If you are a skater this place is a dream. They have everything from the boards, to special wheels, to shoes, shirts everything you need. The customer service is great too. The owner is very knowledgeable and doesn't mind sharing his knowledge! There is plenty of parking in the front or back for free so no excuses not to stop in!

The most they did was make a little flicker when I first tried them, but that is all they did! I contacted (emailed) Crazy Skate Company about a return. I was granted a return but found out that Crazy Skate Company does NOT pay return shipping. I had to pay $30.00 to return a DEFECTIVE pair of skates. This is a bad business practice! I am furious that I had to pay $30.00, (which is a third of the price of the skates) for Crazy Skate Company to take their DEFECTIVE skates back. I will never do business with them again, and I highly suggest you do the same!

When I returned, the bike shop guy was very helpful with information about the town and other places to check out. The store itself is a shotgun style with high ceilings, so they can stack bikes two rows high and even hang rims from the top. They also have lots of accessories and items for skateboarding too. When you walk in, it looks a bit cluttered with the space being so narrow, but if you need anything, you can simply ask the staff to help you. Seemed pretty knowledgeable. I can't say how good the repair service or even how competitive the pricing is since I haven't bought a bike in years. I've bought a few things from them in the past, beginning with a blue Sharpstone grinder I got three years ago. The threads have gotten worn down since (and I lost the little scoopie, sad day!) so I ventured back downstairs to peruse their wares. I found a medium-sized silver Sabertooth grinder for $25, which was less than other smoke shops in the area. The employees have always been helpful and chill (a prerequisite to work here, no doubt), and they treat their customers well. A few Aprils ago, on 4/20, they gave away free handpipes for anyone that made a $10 purchase, which I thought was awesome. They have a nice assortment of vapes, waterpipes, and one-hitters, too. Good hookah collection and lots of shisha to choose from, if that's your thing. Even after 'shopping around' for the lowest prices on pipes and whatnot, Amused still had the best deals in West Lafayette. Cool people and quality products at a reasonable price point. They've definitely earned my repeat business.

The inside is really clean and they have tons of stuff for action sports. Stellar Sports also have offers bike repair services and use Park Tool equipment for repair so they are legit. The shop manager is knowledgeable and helpful and prices are affordable unlike other shops in the surrounding Indy area. I can see myself coming in and getting my road bike parts from here in the future. I think this will be my go to bike shop from now on.

Not unlike the witch from the film The Witch sucking the blood from a baby to maintain her youthfulness. Anyway. I had an opportunity to help pick up trash at Major Taylor Skatepark, and I jumped at the chance. To my surprise, there wasn't a whole lot of trash to pick up, because the skatepark is relatively clean. I get the feeling that the people who use the skatepark respect it and the people who use it. I saw lots of skaters out that day, from adults to toddlers, using the skatepark and having a good time. If you want to feel happy, just hang out at Major Taylor for a while. It was good to see so many people out on a nice day, being active, getting along, doing something fun together and alone all at once.

I am 27 and haven't skated in 6+ years so I didn't want to make a fool of myself, but we found an area where not as many people were hanging out and I got to teach S.O. how to balance on a board! Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and there were tons of good skaters, bikers, and even roller skater! Highly suggest this place if you just want to get outside and do something free for an hour or so.
