Such a cute little coffee shop. I. Would come here more often if it was closer! It has a small community Cafe vibe. Came here on earthday and it was finally sunny for once this spring. It's pretty small, only a few seats in side. A section of retail products and coffee beans. I saw that they also have a coffee siphon system. Pretty cool. The batista was very friendly and was kind to explain the number of shots pulled for a 12oz Americano. The Americano was good. The shots pulled were just a little over extracted. But still a good cup. The outside chairs are so adorable. Perfect on a sunny day. I wanted to get a pastry but we came later in the day and they looked like it was sold down, and pretty empty. Next time! I definitely want to come here and enjoy the views of Seattle on a sunny day. read more

This place just opened up and after attending an appointment next door I thought I would give it a shot. It was well worth it! Every day they have fresh pastries which sell out pretty fast if you don't get there early! I got a spinach cheese roll. It was awesome. I also opted for the fresh ginger chia tea which was perfect for my thirst on a hot sunny Seattle day. I would recommend giving this place a try! read more

They have oat milk, need I say more? J/K Found this little coffee shop across the street from the amazing Mt. Vernon viewpoint for sunsets. The shop itself offered a variety of pastries and in shop tacos. The espresso was smooth so it was amazing. My favorite part was that the 12 oz latte comes with 2 shots! It's a bit small inside so seating is limited. However, there's a few seats out front. I will be coming back for coffee and sunsets. read more

Pricey latte didn't taste good. This may be one of the only small coffee shops in Seattle that makes a bad latte than Starbucks.

This coffee house is adorable. I had a soy latte with their housemade pumpkin caramel syrup and it was delicious. My friend got a mocha. Everything about the place is stylish. I loved sipping coffee there and looking out the window. read more

Was looking for a coffee shop in the area before making a long drive and was fortunate enough to stumble upon QED. A cozy shop in a quiet part of town, QED serves delicious coffee and some decent pastries. I opted for a regular coffee, which was flavorful. Also got a ginger scone which was way better than I expected - do wish it could've been warmed up, but it was stlil good regardless. A great place to get coffee and chill. read more

I will climb two flights of steep stairs just for the dirty chai here! In fact while attending machine knitting school in the Emerald City, I did. Nearly every day for two weeks. It was worth it...and even after 8 hours of knitting, I would come here for more chai and guess what? knit. The bench fit my frame and felt like a home away from home. Plus....hardly any laptops in sight! I love that. Seattle has a vast amount of caffeine offerings, true. QED Coffee quickly became my favorite little coffee shop in Seattle while I visited. This place just has the vibe I love. Good music. Friendly staff. Educated owner (who is very passionate about the roasting process from a conversation we had) and excellent coffee! Highly recommended. Try the dirty chai...it's house made chai (not the icky box kind) with some damn fine espresso lovingly poured over. read more

Good coffee prepared by baristas that seem focused on the task, yet friendly (try their chemex and their mocha). Small cute intimate quiet space on a quiet street. I make it a point to come here whenever I am having lunch in Leschi down the hill. The coffee shop is across the street from a small park that has a good view of downtown and a design revolving around the sunsets at the solstices (check it out). If the weather is nice take your coffee to go and enjoy the view. read more

Worked for a couple of hours out of this spot and I was so content. It's located in a sleepy little area and you can tell they have their regulars. The barista who took my order was super friendly and chatty, and the one who took my second order (heh) was super great as well. They have high tables and some lower level seating. My favorite neighborhood coffee shop. I honestly used to dislike their coffee, but something must have changed in the past few months because I can't stay away. Huge fan of their lattes and even more in love with their scones. We come here almost every weekend, and will keep coming back unless we buy our own espresso machine. Parking is along the street and usually easy to find. There's even a great overlook across the street with beautiful city views. read more

My full-time job is all online, so I have spent a considerable amount of time in a lot of coffee shops. This is one of my favorites. QED Coffee is a nice cozy spot up on the hill with a beautiful view of the city, where most of the customers seem to be regulars and the staff seem to all be the type of people you could chat with all day. I usually get a hemp milk latte, Brew Dr. Kombucha, and occasionally a spinach/cheese pastry. These are all delicious. The resident roaster's skill really shines when you order black drip coffee, espresso shots, americano, etc., as these are excellent on their own. They also have some special tea drinks which are creative concoctions consisting of ingredients such as high-quality Chinese breakfast tea, fresh ginger root, fresh turmeric root, etc. They also make their own chai! Like with fresh, real herbs and spices! Unfortunately for me, I've never had it since they include cane sugar (which I am strict about not consuming). But since every other coffee shop I've ever been to only offers that nasty pre-made stuff from a box, this is definitely worth mentioning. read more

My espresso was quite tasty. They are small, but there are seats for 14. There tables and two short window facing bars. There is also a lovely view of downtown and he sound just across the street. One of my favourite coffee shops in Seattle. I come here pretty often and the line is never too long here. They sell some pastries and other goodies but I really come here for the coffee. Really solid coffee, I feel like it's very underrated in terms of the amount of recognition it gets. Their espresso drinks are super consistent. I'm also a fan of their cold brew as well. The baristas really know their stuff here and are super informative. The baristas are as good as the coffee they serve. They're super friendly. There is also a really good view of the city across the street at the mount baker view point. read more

Busy talking to each other about their tattoos and experience moving to Seattle. Not a word or even a simple smile to a paying customer. I felt like I was interrupting.
