Craig arrived with a ground worker and climber and gave the trees a long overdue trimming, the phone lines are clear, the power to the house is safe from falling limbs. Craig was easy to work with and let is add two stump removals and one more tree felling to the job. Craig's equipment was first rate, the stump grinder removed a 4 foot stump and a fig tree stump quickly and safely, no flying debris, The stump holes were backfilled and graded. Yard looks great. Paid $450…read more They delivered about 2/3 cord of what looks like decent firewood, some cut long but most at the standard 16". The remaining 1/3 cord was small cuts, wedges and odd shapes. These were impossible to stack properly, so I piled them up at the near end of the stack and got it all under a tarp before the rain. Looks like a fair measure, even generous, but it's hard to say with so many odds and ends. I've been burning this wood the last 2 weeks. I'm disappointed to say that a lot of it is just downright wet. I tried a bunch of logs with my moisture meter and found that most of them were over 30% moisture. I was really clear in my communications that I wanted dry wood. So, 2 stars for fair measure, fast and very friendly delivery. Knocked off a star for so much un-stackable ends (maybe that's what he meant by "mixed", I assumed it meant a mix of different woods) and two stars because so much of the wood is so wet.

When they were done, they just blew their debris into my planters, left my hose blocking a door, and didn't bother to clean their debris off my driveway. They also moved large boxes and trash cans away from the gate they wanted to use, into the middle my driveway, and didn't bother to move them back, making parking impossible. I guess if you're not paying them any money they don't give a rip about leaving a time consuming mess behind for you to clean up.
