I just returned from a long, long drive. I called Quality Auto City and spoke with Greg about a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD that they had for sale. I spoke with him on Thursday the 30th of December. I asked specifically if the vehicle had major rust as that was a deal breaker for me. He said the vehicle was in great shape. I told him I would drive down the coming Monday (today) or Tuesday and that it was a 6 hour drive one way for me. I called this morning before departure to ensure that it had not been sold and he said it was there and would wait for me. After a 6+ hour drive I arrived and walked right to the vehicle. The first thing I notice are rust spots, through the paint, around the rear fender wheel well trim. I walked to the other side and the same thing. I then looked under the fender behind the trim and at lease 1" to 1 1/2" of metal was rusted away and gone with a jagged, crumbly rust edge left. I walked back to the previous side and felt under the trim and the same thing. His comment to me was it was in good shape for the price. It is priced at KBB value in "good condition"! Rusted away body parts is not good condition. I was so angry I walked away quickly before things went south. We had offered my car for sale here in Laramie, when times were tight. We found every aspect of our business transaction to be fair, honest, and commendable. Now, six months later, we went back to buy another, and were not disappointed. This company has been in business for some three decades, (and you don't find the small guys in the used car business anymore.) Most were unable to compete with major corporations. The reason they are still in business, and why we went to them in the first place, is because they offer services and quality that you feel comfortable with and able to trust. These guys buy new tires for their vehicles... Watch-out! they do this to hide the alignment problems. Went for a test drive and took to my local mechanic and it had all kinds of problems. Quality is the last word i would use to describe their used cars. read more

We bought a truck, next day wouldn't start. Towed to mechanic, 2 weeks, $800 later to replace a intake manifold gasket that had been siliconed not to leak, by Quality Auto City. After numerous calls and stopping in, I received $200 back to help with the work done. The truck is going back in the shop this week for other issues we are having. We have had it 1 month, and were told it was a great lol truck, so they couldn't budge on the price that was sold as high Bluebook. read more

There is no way to give them zero stars or else that's what I would choose. One is one too many. The owner sells dirty cars. It's that simple. Check kbb for yourself he has over priced all his cars, won't sell for a reasonable cost, and if you look under the hood check for salvaged parts because he will sneak them in and never disclose any of that information to you. I bought a car from him that nearly killed me. Parts inside the engine had been glued together. There was no way to catch the problem until we took the car apart but an oil leak caused the car to overheat and potentially catch fire. I was lucky not to have been hurt! When I tried to return the car for even lot credit he laughed in my face. He was rude and shady! Please help me show this used dealer that you cannot treat people this way! Boycott his place at all costs! Let's run him out of town or get him to practice a safe honest business. The town of Laramie deserves better than that! read more
