I dropped my car off for an oil change and it was ready only an hour later, despite the fact that this is a really small place and the bays were already full. They told me that I could pick it up after work, but I got the Hubster to get it. The damage, $40, which is great considering I've paid $60 to get an oil change on this car before (damn imports and their expensive oil filters!) We both found the service to be prompt, professional and friendly. As long as I live here, I'll be happy to bring my car in for oil changes, drive clean tests and other minor stuff.

I brought it back and was charged another $1,100, and again was told the issue was fixed. It wasn't. Two days later I took the car to Southside Auto and they diagnosed the real problem within 10 minutes -- the right-side wheel bearing. This also meant that parts were replaced at the first garage that did not need to be replaced to resolve the original noise issue. They also pointed out a dented rotor on the right side that was causing a loud noise when braking. When I tried to discuss this with Angelo and asked about a partial refund, my concerns were dismissed. After spending about $2,500, the original issue was never properly diagnosed here.
