Most of the hotels in Clarksville are your pretty standard motel type fare, nothing more than that. The Quality Inn is an 80's hotel feel to it with basic rooms with some updates. The lobby is spacious with an in door pool/spa with a bar and restaurant. They offer a buffet breakfast with is included with the room. It's pretty minimal, and we decided to go to the Waffle House which is right across the street. The bar is small with the basic offerings, not much for top shelf and I would stay away from the wine. The location is spot on for the area. It's right off the freeway not far from the mall and the Old Glory Distillery. read more

I stayed here while in town from California for a graduation all bcuz of a tik tok video. *Location,check in process, parking, comfy bed and other accommodations is a 5 out of 5. However the external appearance of the walk ways with "out door" carpet, as well as carpet in the rooms along with the mildew smell and patch work of the dry wall and price is the reasons for the 3 out of 5 stars. The hotel is old, but well maintained and clean. I was disappointed when I checked in and a sign said the whirlpool was closed. We like to relax after a day of driving in a whirlpool. But they have a sauna, just as good. Even kinda better because we never have access to one. Besides the sauna, there is an indoor and outdoor pool plus an indoor kiddie pool. The carpet in the room has seen better days, but the room was clean and smelled fine. The Internet was kinda weak, I bring a fire stick with me to watch our apps. I had some trouble getting the Internet connected but figured it out. The breakfast was HUGE. The normal cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, etc. They also have ham, bacon, sausage, French toast, waffles and oatmeal. All of the staff were friendly. I can't recommend this highly enough especially for the price paid. Oh, forgot to mention it, they also have a restaurant and bar. Room was acceptably clean, had a slight stale tobacco smell like so many motels still seem to have (on this trip I noticed nearly every hotel, no matter how nice they looked, had their own minor funky smell that you got used to after a couple hours), but no problems. EDITED: We just left the room this morning and, hours later, my husband finds a BED BUG crawling on his arm. Picture now included. Bed bug was full of blood. We have not stopped anywhere since checking out at 8:30 AM... I am so upset to have spent $100 on a room just to bring bed bugs in our house.... I am absolutely SICK. Booked due to good reviews online.. totally surprised and underwhelmed when we arrived at the hotel. While the gal at the check in was sweet and did a great job, the hotel parking lot was a scary place to be. Many strange occurrences while trying to get our belongings from the car (a driver drove in very recklessly, almost hit our dog on the grass by jumping the curb, got out and kicked his car, then got back in and sped away...) (people staring at us) (strong marijuana smell in parking lot). Then, we entered the room, and were upset to see ants on the table, stains on our comforter, dirty trash cans, and dirty walls. LITTLE BLACK HAIRS all over the toilet seat, the shower walls, the floors, the tables.. We have a nonsmoking room, but the designated smoking spot is literally right outside our door and smells of smoke. People are smoking just outside our door. My husband couldn't even believe that I booked this hotel for its reviews.. really sad experience with the room quality. BEWARE OF BEDBUGS! Stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks for work, the only good thing was the breakfast buffet and the kindness of the waitress. The first week there I complained to front desk about someone blowing leaves right outside my door for felt like close to an hour, I sleep during the day so i expected it to stop but it didn't. My next encounter was with Judy from the front desk who while I was trying to make a reservation with my second week. She repeatedly hung up the phone on me so I had to call close to 30 times to get through. When I confronted her about it she said she was busy. As if she couldn't just politely keep me on hold until she had a spare moment to assist me. I let this go but the last straw was my 3rd week I stayed in this room for 2 nights before I discovered a bedbug right beside me on a towel I had just showered with!!! I was mortified! I immediately called front desk and had them come to my room. As they disassembled the bed they found another. These were not small so I am assuming it's been an issue for a while! Thankfully I avoided bringing them into my own home but I could not have been so lucky. This needs to be addressed ASAP and even though they stated it would be. The hotel rooms were disgusting. There were stains in the sheets and blankets, the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. The staff acted as if there was nothing they could do because there wasn't a supervisor available over the weekend. I had to book a different hotel room and they did not want to issue me a refund because the hotel owner said not to issue me a refund under no circumstances however looking at all of these reviews we're all saying the same exact thing about the hotel. One of the general managers called and said that his staff said that I was being rude when I was just calling to rectify the situation because I kept getting different responses. My stay at the quality inn was overall very mediocre. The check in process was easy and the front desk was very helpful and made a very good first impression. I stayed in room 139 and due to its location it seems to have been ignored by the hotel. The room was not cleaned Once during the entire stay and the door seemed to need maintence as it was impossible to close without slamming it! My husband and I are locals of Clarksville booked an over night staycation...booked thru Expedia upon arriving I was told there is going to be an additional cash $100.00 deposit because we are "locals" wasn't happy but after explanation OK. We booked the room to enjoy the INDOOR POOL AND SPA turns out they are both about 50ft. Pretty nice place at a decent price. Huge atrium and pool area which looks recently remodeled. The lobby also looks nice. The staff is friendly and even joked around with me. They seemed to enjoy being at their job. The room was fine, nothing special, but nothing wrong. Lots of tv channels including HBO. It was nice and clean, but should be up for remodelling. The rooms all face outdoors, so winter walks to the room could be cold. The heat and air worked fine, so the rooms should be comfortable. The biggest draw for me was the full buffet breakfast. When I walked in the hallway by the back corner I was almost about not to stay and not even open the room the hallways are dirty and the carpet at hallway too. This place is like a hidden gem. Not a normal run of the mill quality inn. Staff was super friendly when we came in. Had troubles finding our room at first, but it was my fault. He did say we were facing the courtyard! Our room was nice. Cleanish...Except for the smear of something...gross looking...by the toilet paper. I honestly do not want to know. The courtyard was nice...I think one of y'all's benches is broken, unless it's suppose to rock? We were scared to sit on it. The door to our room had some issues. It's not a 4 star hotel but rather I'm rating it four due to the value and quality for which I paid. I used Priceline so check in was a breeze and my room was ready when I arrived. The room was clean and I enjoyed the bed linens. My iPad and iPhone were added to the wifi with no issues and I've had issues at most hotels. This is the 3rd hotel I have stayed in while visiting Clarksville, and I have to say, as corny as it may sound, '3rd times a charm.' :D I usually have my dog with me, she's a mini husky, and so it's sometimes difficult finding a decent place to stay that allows pets, that being said, I typically end up settling for anywhere as long as it's relatively clean and safe. Well today, after being disappointed in the last two places I stayed, I decided to try Quality Inn, and to be honest I was not expecting much. But... I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I walked into the lobby I knew that I had definitely made a step in the right direction. The lobby is huge and contains an area for the breakfast buffet and a full bar, none which I have tried as of yet. The desk clerk was friendly enough, and was kind enough to let me inspect a room before deciding if I wanted to stay or not. Since this place is a few dollars more for a room and pet fee, I wanted to make sure it was worth it. She asked me what type of room I wanted, and did her best to accommodate me. I wanted a non-smoking on the 1st floor facing the parking lot, that way it would be easier for me to unload my magical Mary Poppins trunk and get all my luggage into the room without having to lug all of it up stairs. As much as I tote around with me, I prefer a convenient distance to my car. And she delivered, my car is currently parked directly in front of my room door. She also let me check in early, which was really nice of her, since I was tired and the day was getting hot. At one of the previous hotels I stayed at in the area, I was charged an early check-in fee. I had arrived there around the same time I checked in today at Quality Inn, yet this desk clerk was kind enough not to charge me extra. When I got to my room, I had to turn the A/C unit on since many hotels leave all that off until there is an occupant, but unlike in other locations, the A/C worked well and the room cooled off fast. My only complaint with the unit, is that it's not automatic. Once the room got cold, it continued to blow and before I knew it I was freezing. I like the ones that you can set a certain temp and it turns on & off to keep the room at that temp. The room has two phones, a mini fridge, that is in good condition, a microwave, from this century, two night stands, 4 lamps, an alarm clock, a couch, a coffee table, and a desk w/chair. They also have a remote jack pack, so a person can plug in a portable DVD player, game console, or laptop, etc. I think that's really nice, especially for people who need to stay in a hotel for an extended period. Also, the remote jack has an internet cable for those whose laptops do not have a wireless card. A nice perk considering many hotels take for granted that everyone can access wifi. Speaking of the wifi, one minute it's awesome and the next minute it lags bad. I was watching Netflix and it was working great and then I lost a bar and had to wait 15 minutes for the video to reload. It's happen a few times already and is a bit frustrating, and I can't seem to get it on my smart phone, even when I typed the actual network name in it won't 'find' it. It could be me doing something wrong, but I have to rely on my own wifi for my phone, but at least on my laptop it works. The bathroom area was a step up as well, the shower had a shower head that allowed you to adjust the pressure of the water, always a plus, especially since the last place I stayed I felt like the water was barely coming out. Plenty of towels supplied, though I use my own so I can't say if they are 'soft' or not lol The sink area is spacious, there is a hair dryer, coffee pot, tea bags and cups in that area, along with the usual hotel size toiletries, which I never use, so I can't remark on that either. There's also an iron & ironing board, plenty of hangers, and a laundry bag with a check list if you want the hotel to clean your clothes. As for the bed, it's nice & soft, has four pillows, and blankets that actually look clean and inviting. Once again I cannot tell you if they are 'soft' because I bring my own pillow and blankets. I learned a long time ago, and not in a pleasant way, that its better that way lol. Overall, the room appears to be cleaned well, and the furniture and fixings seem to be in good condition. I see no stains or tears on anything. Considering that this place is in the middle as far as price, I give it two thumbs up. Oh, and outside, if you have a dog, they actually have grass that goes around the hotel and it's maintained. Some hotels are "pet friendly" but have NO places to walk your pet, this does. One other thing I would say I do not like, is that there is only one entrance from the street to the inn, and if you're coming off the main road it's a bit of a pain to make the left into the parking lot because the road is busy, but you can use the gas station next door to make a u-turn and take the easy right in. read more

First of all we booked this place through a "Surprise me" option on Travelocity in hopes that we would have gotten something else for a 3 star hotel. No such luck. This place is not a three star!! Next since the booking was paid for through Travelocity the hotel staff couldn't figure out how to actually book the room. The three days that we were there they said that our card was declined...but yet Travelocity said we were fully paid for. The hotel is one that has outside access to their rooms. our room was next to the area were the trash was stored for the day. such a pleasant site to see while hauling your stuff over to your hotel room. Next the bathroom area looked like it had been cleaned every other guest that stayed in the room. I didn't want to take a shower in there but really had no choice. I just hoped i wasn't going to get any type of foot disease by standing in the bathtub. For a room that was meant for two people (king sized bed), there were only two towels which were a low grade of sandpaper. The free hot buffett was a joke. Fatty cuts of bacon, coffee that tasted it was from the day before, and soda pop that was missing syrup. Decided to stay here as we were in town for a funeral. EVERYONE from front desk...to restaurant...to cleaning crew very nice and accommodating. The have a nice courtyard in the middle....indoor and outdoor pool...sauna...bar and restaurant. They even have room service. The free breakfast buffet has a bunch of choices...scrambled eggs...bacon...sausage..biscuits... gravy...fruit...cereal...breads...make your own waffle etc. If we need a hotel again here in Clarksville we would stay here. This is a beautiful hotel. I am a club member, so not sure how much is specific to that, but here's my experience. They have large, clean rooms, friendly staff, both indoor & outdoor pools & two jacuzzis, business center and meeting rooms. The food was great at dinner (we got a free dessert), buffet breakfast comes with the room & it was great. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. They even gave me a room upgrade, to be able to keep us on the first floor, since my friend & I are both unable to do stairs & didn't charge me a dime extra! read more

I stayed here for a week back in April, and it was an excellent experience. I have older relatives that live in Clarksville so I've been visiting there two or three times a year for the past five years or so. I've tried many of the motels at Exit 4 and Exit 11, and this is the best of the local motels I've tried so far. Because I go down there so frequently, I try to find the best trade-off between quality and value, and I think this place hits it perfectly. My room was very comfortable, well furnished, cleaner, and showed "less wear" than the other inexpensive options I've tried in Clarksville, and the housekeeping staff did a good job. I found the front desk staff to be very helpful. I did not try the restaurant but I did go to the bar to watch a hockey game and their service was very good. There are a lot of motel/hotel options in Clarksville these days and so you can find cheaper places, and you can definitely find more expensive places, but again, in my experience this place offers a good value because you're getting a clean, comfortable place to stay and aren't having to pay $110 (or more) a night. This was a venue for a wedding recently. I will comment only as an event venue for this hotel. Staff seemed to be very friendly from the moment we entered the lobby. I think I were greeted by at least three staff members. Since there's a pool and spa in the atrium, there was a fairly strong chlorine odor as we approached the conference/event rooms at the end of the atrium. By the way, atrium felt very spacious. It also had a very large buffet line set-up in the middle of it. It was a small wedding, and it was set up to seat about 80. Adjacent ballroom was set up for a reception with buffet tables with round tables and a dance floor in the middle. Food was OK. I assumed the hotel catered it. It was nothing fancy. Service was very good--very pleasant and attentive--used plates and utensils were promptly cleared off the table. I sort of felt funny we weren't offered any after dinner coffee/tea though there was a setting on our table. I wished I had some coffee with dessert. That would've completed the meal. read more
