There are three guys that work here at different shifts…read more I am rating them three stars because of the two younger guys. If it were just up to the oldest guy, I'd rate them one star. Both of the younger guys always charge the correct amount, and one of them actually sometimes gives discounts, especially if we are a little short at first, not requesting the remainder. The oldest guy...extremely greedy and dishonest. He will pinch you for every possible penny he can, more if he thinks he can. He has actually attempted to overcharge my friend and roommate Danny and myself (although the two of us caught it) and has actually successfully cheated my former roommate Paul and my former roommate Chris (who claimed to be a member of the Vice Lords gang) and them not notice it. This is a crime. This is taking advantage of a disabled person in addition to petty theft. I myself suffer from autism spectrum disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, AND panic disorder, so yes, I am mentally disabled, but I am not mentally CHALLENGED, there is a difference, and I can count change and know when I am being overcharged! As can Danny! I am not suggesting people boycott this store, I am just suggesting people avoid the oldest guy and / or, if he is there, double-check what he charges you and what he gives you for change. I am suggesting people purchase from the store when one of the two younger guys who have more integrity are there.

Called a month ago to price repairs one my zero turn mower. Had my mower for 4 weeks and no phone…read morecalls except by me calling them. Finally got a call saying my mower was ready 1 month after taking it to them. Quote was about 500. Final price was 800. Asked why and was told it was because the tire had to be replaced. The tire for them ran 160. Was not informed about the extra part and charge. I thought I was going to a business that cared about it's reputation. Looks like they are nothing but another shady repair shop that will jack you around as much as they can. Beware! They will bait you in with a lower repair quote and jack that price up as high as they can. Will not be back but I don't think they care.

We had gone in mid July to Best Buy in Jackson and it was a horrific experience. Woods Maytag was less expensive. Woods Maytag cost less for delivery/installation. Best Buy couldn't deliver the new microwave for a month and then said they couldn't install it until November!!! Best Buy charged an additional $40 because we live 45 minutes from their store. Woods Maytag had no extra distance delivery. Best Buy wanted $50 to take away the old microwave. Woods Maytag's installation included taking away the old one. Very satisfied with Woods Maytag!

We called West TN Moving & Storage for this move but turned them down when they quoted us $1450 to move our things that we knew wouldn't take more than 4 hours to move. They tried to take advantage by charging for almost 10 hours for a job that would take less than half that time. This time we used Jackson Moving & Storage. They didn't take even one break and they moved very quickly and carefully and were also nice people. Their charge was $495 for everything. They were fair at $150 per hour and didn't try to cheat us. I would highly recommend this company for moving. They don't try to take advantage of you like the others.
