I changed…read morepool service companies, not because I was unhappy with my company, but because I wanted to be a bit higher on the list when my Pentair equipment went out, and Amici apparently does warranty work for Pentair as well as standard pool service. The first 2 weeks of service my pool was green after it being in perfect shape until then. I know I keep my heat higher than most people and that it does take additional chems to keep it in shape. Why didn't they know that? I requested from the first that they leave a couple of extra chlorine tabs, and we would add them as needed. They did not and we don't keep our own chems as our pool service company has always looked after that! Finally, the owner came out and told the young man to add more shock than he had tried before and to come back the next day to check on it. Finally, after 2 weeks we could get back in the water. One thing I don't really appreciate is that when young Kyle is here to service, he is ALWAYS on his phone. When the owner came out, he showed me where water had been leaking around my pump and on the filter gauge (I'm not familiar with pool parts so forgive me if I'm misnaming). He told me both needed to be replaced, the pump for over $800 and gauge he would replace for free. Today, Saturday May 29, 2021, my husband heard the sounds that the pump makes when it runs dry and noticed the pool water had dropped by about 10 inches. The pipe to the new pump had sheared off with water spraying everywhere but into the pump. The pump needs to be replaced again and the plumbing replaced. They won't send anyone out to even assess the problem until Tuesday. After just one month of the worst service possible, I fired them and have gone back to the service company, Freedom Pool & Spa. Larry and Garry have been wonderful since I first moved to Havasu in 2014. When I called them to explain what happened they couldn't understand why the pump had to be replaced in the first place. It was running perfectly until Amici decided it was dirty from seeping water and needed to be replaced. I absolutely cannot recommend Amici Pools and would suggest you consider carefully before you hire them for anything. They are aware I am posting this review and told me to go ahead.

We were ready for a change since the last company came recommended by neighbors I did not to go that route again so I came on to that magical place called yelp and read a couple of positive reviews and called Justin on a Saturday no less and low and behold he showed up found multiple issues with our pool took care of some issues we had that day and gave me a great monthly price. We hired his company to service our pool and in the last few months the transformation has been amazing, every time we show up the pool is clean and clear of debris and algae no excuses about storms and wind and neighbors having a party and throwing stuff in my pool(last company) it is truly a great experience dealing with Justin and one I hope to maintain for years to come.
