had a consult for endometriosis surgery with her Dr. Crable in Dallas, Texas and had a horrible experience. As far as I understand, a consult is a chance to learn a doctor's surgical process and decide if that doctor is right for you, especially for something as significant as a major surgery. During my consultation with Dr. Crable for endometriosis surgery, I barely got into my second question--whether she does excision or ablation--before she interrupted and oddly took offense to my questions. "I wouldn't come in and tell you how to do your day job. So just trust me." Huh? I guess the point of the consult was for us to sit and stare at each other then? What else am I talking to the doctor for? I said multiple times I don't doubt her expertise--I just wanted awareness about what would be done to me. I also shared I sought her for her expertise after researching local endometriosis specialists and seeing her name pop up. I'm in her office because I believe in her expertise. But I don't walk into any experience blind, especially for something like a major surgery. She clearly took offense anyway and interpreted it as me micromanaging her and telling her how to do her job. After she finished condescending to me and saying I have a Type A personality, I had already mentally moved on to another doctor. There really could have been a better way to make her point. Something like, "Hey, I want to reassure you I'm very experienced in this surgery, but I'm happy to answer any questions you have to make sure you understand my process." Instead the chip-on-her-shoulder spiel she decided to give. Please find a doctor who's not condescending and insecure. read more

I called to confirm my appointment due to never receiving a televox call and I was then scheduled with someone else. The people who answered were very rude and very unhelpful. read more

I see a lot of negativity on this site and, based on my experience with Dr. Crable's office, it doesn't seem warranted. I called on a Friday afternoon to make a new patient OB appointment and left a message. The front office returned my call the next day despite it being a Saturday and very courteously informed me Dr. Crable isn't taking new patients for obstetrics currently. I had this provider for years. I have PMDD she didn't diagnose. In addition, to other things. She is not recommended for Neurodivergent BW. I bought a NB person to my appt to get them to see the OBGYN office is not a bad place. She was terrible to them. Also, if you want a provider who is always out of town she is perfect. I only stayed in service with her due to her NP. I had a reoccurrent issue that was not caused by activity it was her not making the connection the Rx was not working. I was shamed when I was not going anything at all. If you have are Autistic, Aspergers, 2E, Adhd, et this is not a safe place. I do not need to be contacted by her rude Asst who plays the "bad cop" who she pays to say the things she wants to. I now know what to require and it is more than someone who does not know me and just checks the box. Over 5 years and this woman can't tell you anything of substance about me. I deserve acceptance and respect. The NP is all this those things. Dr. Crable is not. Being a BW does not mean you're not an ableist or believe in the caste system. The sonographer was very kind and if you have a great team you are not paying attention that the main person is not actually conducive to your needs. I honestly do not think this is her passion in all our talks. This is what pays her bills and pays for her passion. We have enough Dr in the field who are just a body and present. Passion matters. She has never had it I'm speaking from when she was in the basement. I wish I never left Dr. D Fein because he was not a woman. He cared and that's all that will ever matter nothing else. read more

So my update review is based on my delivery and post partum care. First of all, Dr. Crable was truly so amazing in the delivery room. When I felt frantic or just out of it she was so gracious and kept reassuring I was doing great. She was such a great coach and encouraged me during the delivery process. She made me feel like I could truly do it when I had no energy left from the whole labor process. She has a very calming spirit and will keep you level headed when it feels like one of the most stressful moments. After delivery, Dr. Crable did a great and quick job getting ready to transition to my room. I went to visit her six weeks later and she listened to my concerns and explain the next steps in healing. I truly do feel like Dr. Crable cares about all of her patients and their needs and concerns. She is definitely the best around town and I'm so glad I found her! read more

Dr. Crable was very professional. Because she is an OB/GYN expect long wait times. Once before I went and ended up waiting an hour and a half before I saw the doctor. I am sure the reason is because she actually takes the time to sit with her patients and explains things and answers any questions you have. Let me tell yall! Dr. Crable is the best OB/GYN that I have been to in my life! Or should I say when I first started going to OB/GYN's for paps and such. She is very personable, has excellent bedside manners and will answer any questions that you may have! I literally trust Dr. Crable with my female reproductive organs for real! :) Anyhow. I haven't seen Dr. Crable in almost 2 years due to the fact that when I was seeing her, I had a good job, and very good health and dental insurance! Since then I had lost that good job, and benefits. She is sooooo laid back and calm. She is human...I say that to say a lot of doctors don't allow themselves make you feel it's a patient dr relationship..not Dr Crable. She talks with you, gets to know you and allow you to get to know her. Her concerns are for your health as well as the baby health. Dr. Crable is amazinggggg. I drive about 35-40 minutes to see her and she is worth every minute of it. I recently established care with her to try to start baby planning and I can already tell she is the one for us. She was down to earth and very knowledgeable. I visited 4 other doctors before deciding to go with her and would have continued looking if she wasn't so amazing. I was adamant about not really trying to get pregnant until I found a doc I liked and I'm so grateful that I've found her. The nurse Kelly is also amazing, she was attentive, asked good questions to get to the bottom of things and actually read the paperwork prior to speaking with me. I have had times at other offices where I spend all day filling out medical history and no one even bothers to read it. Best OBGYN I have ever had. She is such a nice person. All of my vitals were explained to me. She has a very calming and approachable bedside manner. I have found my new lady doctor! Dr. Crable will take the time to answer any questions you have and openly invited me to ask questions during my visit - there was no "you get to ask one question, but if you ask two then this is technically two office visits" attitude like I have found with other doctors. I missed an appointment with my OLD obgyn and tried multiple times to reschedule to no avail. I received a letter in the mail saying that I had been dropped at the beginning of my last trimester. I sought out a second opinion from Dr. Crable after a terrible experience at Baylor Regional in Plano. Despite being a new patient, she was able to get me in to see her just 48 hours after I had called. Her demeanor was pleasant, kind, loving, confident, knowledgeable, and capable. Having dealt with incompetent doctors at Baylor, I was so relieved to finally have a doctor who was not only competent, but compassionate. She quickly assessed the clinical findings and determined I needed surgery ASAP. I was scheduled for the following Monday (I was there on a Thursday). I was worried going into surgery, but she eased my mind and kept me calm. Thanks to her quick help, she saved my life. Surgery revealed ovarian torsion with necrosis of the right ovary. She removed the softball sized cyst and right ovary. Had she not gotten me into her offices right away, and had she not performed the surgery when she did, there is a strong likelihood that the cyst or ovary would have ruptured and caused sepsis, a critical condition I may or may not have survived. First off I have to say I was hoping for an at home birth. So, when I moved to Dallas and ended up with complications in my pregnancy I suddenly found myself looking for an OB who would give me room to be as natural as I could be yet be there incase I needed intervention. To further add insult to injury I started looking for her when I had one month left in my pregnancy. I was turned away from other doctors because it was too late in my pregnancy and things were just too complicated. Dr.Crable graciously took me on. She made me feel welcome and talked to me like a friend not a doctor to a lowly patient. I've never written a review for a doctor or doctor's office in my life, and I'm a little late writing this one, but I haven't forgotten! I visited Dr. Crable after a miscarriage. I had a horrible experience with a different practice in Plano who never allowed me to come in for an emergency appointment for the duration of my miscarriage, which took over a week to complete. After that, I was afraid to go to the doctor because I was scared of what they would say, not to mention that I didn't want any salt thrown in a wound so fresh. About a month later, I visited Dr. Crable, and she was a godsend. She assured me several times - and even explained in medical terms, as if to offer proof - that it wasn't my fault and there wasn't anything more that I could have done. She assured me that most women go on to have viable pregnancies and good experiences after a miscarriage, gave me a reasonable time frame to wait before trying again, and provided me with enough birth control trial packs (nuva rings) to take me through that time period. I felt comfortable enough with her to talk about pretty much everything, from my chronic migraines and other health issues that had nothing to do with the pregnancy, and she had no issue exploring any subject I came up with. She has an amazing, down-to-earth demeanor that just makes you want to open up, and there wasn't the least bit of hesitation, sadness or shame in speaking about my miscarriage. it was purely informational and supportive, and more than anything, I needed that.
