Hi, my name is Lani and I am a Google Diagnoser. Yep. I am on of *those* people. And this means…read morethat I try a lot of things to remedy issues. My latest quest? Acupuncture. I'd heard of the student clinic at Endeavour College and figured that at $15 for an hour session, it was the perfect way for me to dip my toes into the world of acupuncture and see if it was actually for me, and more importantly, if I noticed any results. I've had two sessions so far, and while I'd definitely consider it a work in progress, I am noticing an overall improvement in not only the primary issue I sought the treatment for (severe lower back pain) but in my total energy levels, attitude and a lasting effect of balance. I'm even noticing I'm eating less. The students are fully supervised and their supervisor comes into the sessions regularly to check that all is going well. I'm yet to feel in any way uneasy about the students that have practiced on me. Don't stress. I'm getting to what you all want to know. The needles? Honestly? I don't feel them. Sure you *know* they're sticking a needle in you but do you feel any pain? I'm told it is different for everyone but, I personally, haven't felt anything more than a quick prick of the skin. Once they are all in it actually feels like a nice current is washing over you. A calmness if you will. The sessions can take a little longer as they are student practitioners and they begin each session with a short Q&A and sign-off from their supervisor. For $15 though, I can't complain and I would whole-heartedly recommend to anyone wanting to either save a few quid or test it out without dropping a wad of cash.

Go to endeavour College for a consultation! The clinics are run by third years, so In a few months the services and advice they give you for... $10!!! They will be charging hundreds, Naturopathy, aromatherapy, massage, acupuncture.... And way more that I didn't read, all as cheap as chips. Seriously, I can't talk it up more. The students that run clinic are professional and know their stuff, I'm currently in my third week for dietary analysis and the guy that is working with me is top notch, he explains things to me simply, and he doesn't let it get awkward even when he has to ask personal questions. The massages are not just the oily, waste of time massages that you get at a lot (A LOT!) of places in the city, they are actually about improving you physically, fixing pain or dealing with the neck problems from cramming at your desk all night. I love a bargain and I love my health, so this is my new happy place.

Dr Reece Yeo has been a life saver for me! After months of…read morebeing horrendously unwell, multiple doctors and specialists visits, scopes and biopsies to name a few I had no answers. I turned to Reece for help which was the best decision I have ever made. After a week of sticking with his diets and herbs I started to feel a change. He was the perfect balance of eastern and western medicine and he gave me so much hope that I would be able to get over whatever was happening with my body. He checked on me daily to make sure I had no concerns and that everything was going well. It did take some time but I'm now thrilled to say I'm feeling back to my normal self. Dr Reece always thoroughly read through my doctors reports and blood work, I had been having a hormonal imbalance for years and was told I may need medication in the future or if I wanted to fall pregnant. This was something he felt very confident he could get me back into normal ranges and he has been able to achieve just that! Recent blood work shows everything now within normal levels! If I could give him a higher rating than 5/5 I would! I will continue to see Dr Reece Yeo and cannot express how much he has helped me not just medically but emotionally as well. Thank you Dr Reece Yeo for being an amazing Doctor and a equally amazing person. Highly recommended!!

I recommend Chi-Link when you need some quick massage / reflexology to work out a kink or a bit of pain. I do not recommend Chi-Link for relaxation massage. Chi-link serves up acupressure massage, which can (for me) teeter on the line between pleasure and pain as it lends itself to a firmer massage. (Do get them to apply accupressure to your ears - that is divine!!) However, do not be afraid to speak up to the therapists if it's too firm for your liking. There are 3 locations inside the Cherminator, so you've got a great chance to walk - up & be attended to immediately by friendly staff. The stalls are formed by curtains, so it's not the quietest experience you'll ever have, but then you're not expecting a day-spa, are you?

Tucked away into a relatively quiet corner of Chermside Westfield, Chi Link is a private haven of peace and wellness. I've only ever gotten the 20 minute massage, but for $25 I've got to say it's very good value for money. If you tell them to go hard they will take no prisoners - you may emerge feeling a little battered but trust me it's pain with gain. I keep meaning to save up and have a bigger splurge, and I know if I'm ever stuck for gift giving a voucher from here would be welcomed by most people I know.
