I love Birria tacos so much, and I'm on the hunt to find the best ones. I actually didn't even know this food truck existed until my dad pointed it out. I got the cheesy birrias with consommé for $11.99. Although it wasn't busy, the wait for my food took at least 15 minutes, which is completely fine but I was like sitting directly under the sun haha. All good though because the tacos made up for it. They were generous with the meat filling! I feel like the tortilla could've been more crispy, but maybe it's because I didn't eat it right away. It's always going to be better when it's fresh and hot. The tacos were good, and the consommé was very light yet flavorful. I do think that the salsa they provided on the side enhanced the overall taste. Without the consommé and salsa, the tacos can be kind of dry. The truck is located right in front of pep boys. People either just pull up to the side or park their cars at businesses nearby. There are a few picnic tables around the area, some with umbrellas for shade. I would love to come back and try other items on the menu. The employee was super kind and attentive!

The Birria meat for the Cheesy Birria Tacos and Birriaflautas was good but had a different flavor. Consommé was tasty. The Pork tacos lacked flavor but I was so happy to see there were actually pineapples in them. The chicken tacos and steak tacos were better in flavor. And the Churros were the icing on the cake! Soooo good! (Got this via delivery)

Customer service is great but the past few times I've come I haven't been satisfied. Everything just tastes salty. Meat overall salty, the veggies have salt, instant Mexican rice? Just not pleased. I used to love their chimichanga.

It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Birria Tacos (even though I never had it but the pictures always look sooo good!) I googled some places that had good reviews and found Que Chilero. I assume it's a pretty new spot because it only has 3 reviews on Yelp but there was about 25 on google and they were all pretty high so I tried red it. Upon arrival, I noticed that it's actually a food truck parked on the side of a Pep Boys. I parked across the street at the fast food restaurant and walked over. They have one picnic table if you wanted to eat there but not a lot of seating for a lot of people. When I got to the stand it was closed off but they have a bell on the outside that you can ring to get their attention. The young lady at the stand helped me decide which Birria I should get since it was my first one and I went with the queso Birria which was on flour tortilla. They did accept debit card and the food took about 10 minutes to prepare. Remember, this was my first time trying Birria tacos so I have nothing else to compare it too. It was DELICIOUS!! It was hot and fresh and a very good size portion. It was also extremely cheesy which made my heart melt (no pun intended) and most importantly it was sooo well seasoned! It was tender and I loved the touch of fresh lime, onion and cilantro as well as the hot sauce that was provided. I used the orange colored one and I will say it did spill in my bad but I won't blame them. The Birria sauce added to the experience but I'm not sure what the sauce reminded me of (not in a bad way though). I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

4 beef tacos, 2 chicken tacos, the beef and chicken were juicy and the tortillas were soft. Also, Try the street corn, really good!!

It's a hole in the wall food truck, We got chicken tacos, beef tacos, beef torta and the kids got a quesadilla meal to share. The meat was juicy and tender, the tortillas were soft, the torta was stuffed and delicious! Although, The quesadillas were small so not enough to share for two kids, we thought it would be a whole quesadilla but it was 2 tortillas folded with chicken and cheese. The elotes are delicious, the cup size is also small but flavor is there! Over all, The kids meals were my only main concern due to size but we will be coming back for our next taco night out.

Tried beef, pork, and cheesee birria tacos, 10/10 delish. If you go GET THE CHURROS. Churros are not dry they're fresh and oh so good!

Let me tell you, these people have me addicted! I keep coming back again and again. Everything I have had here has been DELICIOUS!! Never disappointed. I love the supreme Birria nachos, chimichanga, and birria tacos are some of my favorites. Highly recommend this place.

The service was good, Birria menu is their strongest. Good Street Mexican food. Lots of food trailer around here but this one beats them all.

A place I grew up in as a little girl in Beaumont but never have I've visit this "original" location. Stepping in to this spot felt like a restaurant in the country of Mexico. I ordered the El Henry. I absolutely loved my dish, only thing I would've chance was the cheese enchilada definitely would've swap for a chicken or beef one, or maybe even a flaunta. I really like the Mexican rice, it had little potatoes and carrots in it. Some of the best Mexican yellow rice I've had. They offer a cinco de mayo drink special. The only thing that seem to make it special was the drinks apparently were limited edition menu items. Nothing was special about the prices. The regular menu drinks were a dollar(s) less. The margarita I ordered first was peach coconut. I didn't taste the coconut at all. I swap for the peach strawberry ($14 or 15) which was great, sweet& strong. One did me just right. You get to select up to two flavors for additional $2 (for both verse each, that's a plus. Not worded on menu). If you select a third flavor an additional $2 would be added ($4 in total) I appreciate separate tickets provided after confirmation and no additional gratuity automatically added, which he got tip equally the same or more. When asked about the "empty" patio that was available, he informed us that the entire deck was reserved. Upon departing I noticed from the parking lot individual tables, of separate parties were occupying only 3 tables. It was 8 of us sitting at 2 tables. Which the table was pushed up against the wall, and one side was inaccessible, which took away spacing. Service was lovely space was really tight. Good thing some of the ladies didn't order full meals. Definitely wouldn't have been able to fit every plate.

Ambiance: upon walking in, it was chaos and sooooo many people standing up and sitting down. Walking around with drinks. I felt like I was in a club. A server made her way to me to take my Togo order. While waiting, I grabbed a drink at the bar and just made the happy hour cut off. Service was great as I was able to get my order and it was a large order. Everything was correct. The house margarita was ok, I wish I had gotten the hibiscus flavor. Order; Crab Tostadas Mixed Fajitas Snapper Mole Enchilada Ninfa 2 Tacos Margarita Mix The only thing I would order again is the crab tostadas and the beef fajitas. The chicken had no flavor at all. The charros beans and rice were not anything special. I was not a fan of either. Overall, we are not planning to order from here again. It just wasn't what Mark Weins made it seem like on his review. Also, whoever the driver was practically could not wait for me to turn around. Sorry, I had to take a pic. Very rude.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

It definitely is enough for 2. The meat melts in your mouth. EVERYTHING is better quality than here. Teo charged $1.50 for perhaps 4 or 5 slices of lime to make the happy hour margaritas made with a gross mix drinkable. That's outrageous. It reminds me that I had stopped going long ago when they charged extra for onions on enchiladas. Come on. You don't charge extra for chopped onions! I have never been to another restaurant that does so. Some even provide carmelized grilled onions gratis. I'm convinced that a $15. YUMMY mango margarita at Pappasitos would have given us the same buzz & tasted better than 8 happy hour margaritas here. I used to love the in house made flour tortillas at Teo. The restaurant has an intimate indoor space and adjacent covered patio. Both were already full when we arrived which created a lively atmosphere. The inside was so tasteful - small but moody and warm! I'd definitely recommend a reservation for the weekends! We started with the aguachile de camaron as a starter and WOW my husband cannot stop talking about this dish. The perfect blend of textures and flavors - this will be a must for us every visit. We have had our eyes on the 5-course Chef Tasting Menu for $49 + the optional beverage pairing for $30. The experience felt more than fair for the price, especially by Houston standards. Each course felt thoughtful and slightly boundary-pushing, yet really approachable. My partner and I have been on a bit of a mole kick recently, so were very excited for the hanger steak with truffle mole. It absolutely delivered and would love to order this again! We were also heavily drawn to the tuna tartare starter, masa cornbread, and tres leches. The wine and drink parings were perfect and not too fruity. The brut rose was a perfect way to start and I always love a mezcal cocktail. I highly recommend anyone visiting to start with this Tasting Menu and leave the stress in the hands of Chef Adrian Torres! We had the pleasure of chatting with him briefly after our meal and were so impressed with his story and clear excitement he brings. The rest of the staff were equally kind and really added to the evening! We also got the "Tiradito de Hamachi" crudo, which was fresh and delicious! For the entree, my friend and I shared the tacos (which comes with your choice of 3). We added an extra taco to make it 4. I was genuinely shocked that the mushroom taco ended up being my favorite because I almost always prefer meat, but it was THAT good. The fried shrimp taco was also amazing. For dessert, we got the tres leches cake. I'm usually not a huge fan of strawberry or fruit toppings on desserts, but the cake itself was really, really good. I ended up just removing the strawberries and eating the cake, which was moist and flavorful. The only downside for me was the drinks. They looked larger than they actually were because of the glassware, and they tasted a little watered down. I had two, and they just weren't very strong or super flavorful. Other than that though, the food and service absolutely made up for it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

I prefer traditional homemade Mexican food but here we are. (Oh I googled and suggested this place lol) Went in for a team lunch on a Friday. Coworker's birthday lunch and she wanted Mexican. Party of 9 and we were seated promptly. They have a lunch menu and a happy hour as well as a full menu and full bar. The interior was nicely decorated. And open. There is bar seating and patio seating as well. Our waitress was Aisha and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful and patient. And able handle our large group and a few more tables with a smile. There were a variety of options. Salads, fajitas, nachos, enchiladas, etc. Also complimentary chips and salsa. My Order: chicken tortilla soup, lunch fajitas combo - chicken and beef. Chicken tortilla soup (3.5/5) - it was a bit salty for me but I am not a salt person so most things are salty to me; everyone else said it was tasty, there were tons of shredded chicken, avocado pieces, tortilla strips Fajitas - combo (4/5) - chicken was seasoned well and the beef (medium rare) was perfection and so tender and juicy, mexican rice was fluffy, and normally I would pass on the beans and get extra rice but my coworker suggested the charro beans and wow, that was a win - the seasoning was great, there were chunks of meat and the texture was nice, the only thing that could have been done better is the flour tortillas - they over-charred them making them too crispy and left them with a burnt taste. A couple of people got the elote salad and raved about it. So that will be a next time try. Def will be back. Everyone enjoyed their meals and some even ordered food to go. Would recommend.
