Our party of six was easily accommodated in their upstairs dining rooms on a Thursday evening around 8:00pm. We made a reservation on open table earlier in the day. Our server was Meghan who was cheerfully warm, welcoming and quite knowledgeable about the menu. Meghan made excellent menu suggestions. Loxley's also has a gluten free and a dairy free version of their current menu so special orders are simple. We started out with a charcuterie sampler that was full of delectable treats. I enjoyed the mushroom risotto and added some tiger prawns. Others in our party enjoyed the pork belly, duck and cod dishes. All delicious and artfully prepared. Of course Loxley's has a wide assortment of beers, wines and cocktails to enjoy with your dinner. If you are looking for less touristy fine dining in Stratford on Avon you will find it here. The portions are very generous - you leave feeling as though you've really had your money's worth. I recommend going on a Tuesday when their promotion 'Tasty Tuesdays' runs. 'Tasty Tuesdays' gives you 2 courses for £12, or 3 for £14. As a main course in itself costs around £13, this is fantastic value for money! I recommend booking if you want to make the most of this offer as Tuesday night is very popular. The only reason I have not given Seasons 5* is service is slightly slower when in a large group. The staff are extremely friendly, and all food arrives at the same time, which when you are in a group of 20+ can cause a delay. If you're happy to order a couple of glasses of wine (the house white is quite delicious) and chat amongst friends however, the wait is not a problem. In smaller groups, service is prompt and slick. I really can't recommend a meal here enough.
