Took my Range Rover in, was rear ended needed rear bumble upper and lower tailgate. They replaced everything and the work was good. Two years later I am having tailgate problems and was told I have warranty on the work for life. Now there is new ownership and they are not backing the warranty. Queen City did an awesome job with my S2000. I needed some extremely minor work done on a fender, and it came out looking fantastic. It did take some time to get an appointment, but the work was completed at a decent speed after I dropped off the car. I also appreciated how Queen City worked seamlessly with my insurance company. Note that their rates are higher than my policy would cover, but the quality of work was worth it to me. Everyone from the front desk to the estimators were incredibly nice and passionate about what they do. I had pretty high expectations due to their testimonials. Unfortunately, they highly lack quality control from my experience. Last year I brought my BMW for collision repair that needed a new front bumper and fender. After about a month of waiting to get it painted, I finally get my car back just to find out the paint wasn't matched correctly at all! I politely ask one of the managers to repaint the bumper once again. Even the manager was very surprised about how poorly the paint was matched and mentioned that the painter "forgot" to put another coat. I give them my car back for another three weeks. I receive it back and it appeared that this time everything was done correctly. After about a month or so, I noticed that the headlight washers (which sit in the bumper) still had the poorly matched paint. Along with that, the bumper is getting a lot of rock chips just after a few months of normal driving. My car had 89k miles prior to the collision and had almost no rock chips in the bumper. Lengthy repair, incredibly overpriced, poor communication, new damages to interior tint when door was taken off for painting, and multiple re-do's. DON'T RECOMMEND I had minor body damage to a single panel and some painting I needed done for an accident I was not at fault for. Queen City was 2-3x as much in price as my 3 other quotes. I went with them since my insurance wasn't paying. I regret that. They took 5x as long as any other estimate despite me prepaying and asking them to preorder the parts. I was given the runaround throughout the 1.5 month process (my car there the ENTIRE TIME) as to when it would be ready. When I went to get my car, they didn't fully repaint some area and had to redo them. On top of this, they claimed this wasn't on the original estimate and they re-billed insurance. Their work definitely borders on blatant insurance fraud. When I asked to pick my car up the next day, I was told that they had a long queue and I would be behind some other cars being worked on. This was at week 4. They took a week for this minor repair they had missed the first round. I then went at week 5 to pick it up and SURPRISE...still more scratches in need of repair that should've been done the first or second time. Stay away. You don't get what you pay for here. read more

Seems like every body shop has a mix of rave reviews and horrible reviews, so it was a nightmare for me to choose between them. Happily I had a great experience with Queen City Auto Rebuild. They told me the repair wouldn't cost me anything out-of-pocket (only my insurance deductible) and that ended up being true. The repair did take more than a month but almost all of that time was just waiting for my insurance company (State Farm) to process the various claims. When the ball was in Queen City's court, they communicated well and the work was done in the amount of time they told me it would take. The work is excellent. My car has metal-flake paint and I was worried they wouldn't be able to match it correctly, but it looks exactly like the factory paint from all angles and in all lighting conditions. I love my car and it's only a few years old; I'm so glad they were able to restore it to like-new condition (after a stupid hit-and-run in a parking lot). Thanks, guys! read more

Queen City solved our door misalignment problem after another supposedly capable body shop failed miserably. Queen City was able to promptly diagnose the problem, order some missing and crucial spacers and get the door back in perfect alignment in short order. Extremely pleased with the results and the timely service. After our Porsche Cayenne had its front passenger window broken by opportunistic thieves I made the unfortunate decision to go with a budget glass replacement shop. Their technician completely messed up the alignment of the doorframe which on a Cayenne is composed of 2 pieces: the main door body and the window frame. At first there was an air leak which the first body shop was able to eliminate but at the cost of the lower door body sticking out substantially from the rest of the body. We then took the Cayenne to another recommended shop but they could only offer to "take a look and see what we can do". After that less than enthusiastic response I decided to give Queen City a chance since they are a dedicated Porsche shop. So glad I did. I had begun to believe this was an unsolvable problem but they were able to make it all perfect again. read more

Top notch repairs to my Porsche after two separate accidents. Count on your car being there for a couple months, but the wait is worth it, as you'll get a finished product that's next to showroom perfect. One improvement could be made in regards to customer service: I believe it was Rob I spoke to over the phone about my car while it was being repaired, and he was extremely gruff, impatient, intolerant, condescending and rude to me. Maybe he was having an off day, but most people, especially women, do not respond well to that when just making a friendly inquiry. Any amount of business should warrant excellent customer service, but between the two accidents, Queen City was paid $35,000. The bad attitude left a bad taste in my mouth for Queen City - although the quality of work would probably lead me back there should I ever need an auto rebuild company. read more

These guys have gone far above and beyond meeting my expectations. My Audi A8 was rear ended with minor damages but still needing fixed. From my first phone call to pick up everything has been clearly explained with updates along the way. They knew how important it was to get my car back as fast as possible and without skimping in details and quality they put a rush on it. This is a review for a repaired done on my Audi Q5 a few years ago. Been meaning to put in my review since I got my car back as I'm not happy with my experience. I'm not one of those high maintenance customers, all I expect is for my car to look as good as it did before my accident. I went there since it's an Audi certified shop. My first impression was ok, the shop looks clean and it looks like they work on a lot of high end cars. I was rear ended and it looks like they had to put in all new parts so I had to wait for the parts to come in before I could take my car in. I had to leave my car at the shop for about two weeks which is reasonable, but then later they called to let me know there are additional damaged they found after they took the car apart. I didn't hear from them after that so I assumed they are making those additional fixes. As it got close to the day that I'm supposed to get my car back, I didn't get a call on the update or anything, so I checked up on it as I needed to know since I had to take the rental back. They told me that it was almost done as they needed to do some detailing. Which is fine with me, I wanted them to do a good job on my car and I didn't want to rush them. But when I picked up my car, the guy just drove it up and that was it. I felt like I just took it for an oil change. My car was not even wash, there were paints and dirt stain to other parts of the car. There were foot prints on my cargo mat, so on and so forth. Obviously no detailing was done. I would appreciate the honestly versus telling me something they didn't do. One obvious thing that I've noticed is the large gap on my hatch to the body of the car. Every time I wash my car, so much water would fly into that gap. The paint job on some part was not great either, there were dried paints that didn't get polish off. Prior to the accident, my car was in mint condition with very low miles so I noticed all these things. Just the lack of communication and lack of attention to detail was a problem for me. My husband took our economy car to Metro Auto Rebuild in Seattle a couple of times and each time the car came back looking brand new. I was going to go there but only chose Queen City because it was an Audi certified shop. If I knew this is what I was going to get I would have gone elsewhere. Don't recommend and wouldn't go back. Also I just noticed most of the negative reviews was in 2016 and that was when I took my car in too. Make it easier on them, screw the customer. STEVE - by the way, it was at YOUR recommendation, to claim against my car insurance, rather than the at-fault insurance. Do you have ANY idea HOW MUCH GRIEF this has caused me??? My rental coverage insurance capped out at $1000. Hertz Rental has charged me over $4500 when billing at-fault, AFTER they have taken accountability, would have paid ALL OF IT!!! But because I claimed with MY insurance they won't pay! You CLEARLY have NO idea what you're talking about. You are ALL IDIOTS. Queen City is a JOKE. Again.... THEY ARE A JOKE. So the monopoly brothers can stop their whining. Extremely unprofessional causing out of pocket money: I have used Queen City on 2 separate occasions for the same type of work. The 1st time was excellent, couldn't ask for anything better. That was about a year ago, I recently decided to go with Queen City since they did a good job prior and have a good reputation. During the process of Queen City having to go back and fourth with my insurance company, it took 2 weeks from when I dropped my vehicle off to getting it even started on. The only reason it was able to go through when it did is because i called my insurance company and went back and fourth with Queen City as a middle man, otherwise they would have kept waiting on an approval that was pending. Due to this, the original time frame for my rental was going to be over and would authorize it since this was not my fault. I was charged for the extra time on my rental due to Queen City (Sharlene) not communicating what was requested from my insurance company. After seeing the extra charges I spoke to my insurance adjuster and they told me that they reached out to Queen City to get more information and spoke to a "Sharlene". They stated that she kept disconnecting the line and was not being cooperative at all during these request and would not send them what they needed. A lot of the wait time and delay was due to Queen City so im sure they did not want to have to pay out of their pocket for this. I am not sure what they needed exactly but I am assuming it was just documents explaining why it took longer than it did. Regardless, my insurance company was not able to pay for the additional time because Sharlene from Queen City would not cooperate and send over what my insurance company requested. Through this whole process I will NEVER recommend to anyone that Queen City Auto Rebuild is the place to go. I believe Sharlene works at the front desk and handles the most critical steps when communicating with the insurance companies. read more

Looks like don't have professionalism. They promised to have car given in 3 weeks and my car has been with them for last 2 months. Every time I call them they say we are short on labor or have ordered the parts wrong and I am wondering do they have real good professional people who work here because they have estimates are never correct and they order wrong parts. I was recommended by Audi showroom so got my Q5 here. But now I think Audi should rethink about Queen City as their preferred body shop. Queen City Auto Rebuild met and exceeded my expectations. My 06 Audi A4 was rear-ended by a woman in a Prius (is it just me or is there a HIGH instance of these drivers involved in accidents?) on I-405N and it left damage to my bumper, spoiler, and bumper reinforcement component, among other things. Upon calling Barrier Audi, they recommended me to QC, and said they are the only body shop certified to do work on some of the more intensive Audi bodies. Queen City worked on my behalf to get her insurance company to pay for OEM parts, which was my largest concern. They kept me informed every step of the way, and went above and beyond to make sure that anything that was affected by the accident was taken care of, with Audi-standard quality. A day before the car was to be picked up, Dave at QC called and said he had found an additional spot that was missed and that he would have it taken care of and deal with all of the paperwork. When I picked it up, everything had been taken care of. The car was fully detailed, and my bumper was good as new. Very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism over at QC, from the heads of the company down to the receptionists. read more

So, being an emotional wreck after getting into a car accident with your three-month-old car, not great... Rob at Queen City Auto Rebuild... SO GREAT! I rear ended a guy on 405 in my Subaru Legacy. After getting a recommendation for Queen City, I had my car towed there. Right after my insurance company visited the shop to asses the damage, I received a call from Rob. He walked me through the initial damage and told me to brace myself for more damage to be found once they started tearing the car down. (There ended up being a lot more, word of advice, don't follow so closely to the car in front of you!) Anyways, Rob called me at every development and was very patient near the end when I was calling almost every day to get an update. He helped me fight my insurance company against using recycled parts on my 2013 Subaru. Rob was truly the best! Now, I recommend Queen City to ANYONE who asks about body repair. This place. I have taken my car here twice for minor body repair as there are limited places that do Audi body work. I am giving it 2 stars because the work itself seems good but the EXPERIENCE is 0 stars. Both times, the length of the repair was over double of what they quoted. 1-2 weeks turned into over a month. They do not call you to give you regular status updates (or send emails / have a website check) so you have to call them if you want to know an estimate. The customer service reps that answer the front desk phone ALWAYS seem so put off by you calling and wanting to know the status of anything. It was so bad I almost didn't take my car here after the rudeness in the original drop off date discussion. But, I already had the estimate lined up with insurance so I did any way. I picked my car up today, after 32 days there.. and an $8k repair to have NO ONE from the mechanics or office department come to greet me and explain to me the outcome of the work that was done, or look at the car with me. I checked it over myself and there were still black splatter spots on the new white paint so I asked the guy who drove it around about it (it didn't wipe off with my finger) so he got a rag and cleaned it. I started my car and saw the car computer output signaling I need an oil change as if it wasn't reset at the dealership like it was supposed to be. I went inside to ask about that, the lady called someone to come help - I stood there for 15 minutes with no one showing up I just left. I will take it to the dealership myself to have them look at it. For $8,000 you would think they would take it a little more seriously but the general tone here is, once they have your car in for repair all customer service goes out the window and they no longer care what you think since they already have your money. I would NOT go here again. 2 strikes. I heard Millen Auto Body down the road does great work and doesn't have these issues. Hopefully I don't have future repairs but I will take it there. If Queen City takes anything from this review it would be : FIX CUSTOMER SERVICE, TELL THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES NOT TO BE RUDE TO CUSTOMERS WHO ARE PUT OUT BY HAVING TO GET THEIR CAR FIXED AND KEEP PEOPLE INFORMED OF THE STATUS OF THEIR CAR. This place was recommended by a few car people however when I was supposed to bring my car in they told me they didn't have all the parts ready and to wait another week. Went over an inspection with my car with them and had the understanding that the entire car would be buffered and detailed. I had clipped a deer and the car needed front end repair. I was told it would take anywhere from 5-7 business days total. Communication was horrendous in the fact that I had to call to find out the status of my car and three times it had changed- inconveniencing my time since I did not have a rental- they failed to keep me in the loop that my car 'needed another week' my car was there for 4 weeks! Just picked it up today and the rest of the car was never touched with a buffer and was never detailed. The front end looks great minus the fact that they broke off my Quattro emblem in the works. I appreciate the diligence and attention to detail on the front end but if communication was better I might have given more stars. I left disappointed and did not feel they respected the outcome and didn't offer to pay for a windshield repair (also had a crack) or help with a rental car. read more

I stopped by the first time to get a quote for some body work. Their quote was reasonable and comparable to other quotes I got but their wait times, even for getting a quote, made it difficult for me to go back for the repair. However, the second time, after some idiot scratched my rear bumper while pulling out of a parking lot and ran away without leaving a number, I went there to again get a quote for insurance. I got the quote which was same as what the insurance agent gave me but, looking at the scratches, the guy asked me to wait in the lobby and took the car back. He came back and told me that his detailer tried to buff it out and polish it and it was "almost" perfect? The marks would be difficult to find if you didn't know where to look for. He said he will give me a quote to repaint the bumper to make it 100% but it was my preference. He didn't try to sell his service to me. And more than that, he tried to fix it free of charge and saving several $100 in deductible even if insurance paid the rest. I am glad I went here for the quote and I will definitely go back if I have to buy hopefully not. read more

I took my Audio Q5 to be repaired at this place for a front bumper replacement from an accident I had driving at 5 mph, it took them close to 8 weeks to give me my unit back, during that time the customer service was not the best since I was the one calling them every week to get updates, besides that they have to change twice the front light since they didn't figure out water was in the connector and damaged the first light. They excused themselves by blaming Audi Bellevue since they took over the last step over the repair, but to me I hire Queen City Auto Rebuild to do the fill job, if the hire a 3rd party they should assume the responsibility and consequence of their decision. They fix was not cheap at all but was taken care fully by my insurance, however not getting my car in 8 weeks was really annoying. The service is very slow, it took them one week after I dropped my car to finally asses the repair, I called them after 6 days of dropping my car and they explained me they haven't started the assessment yet, why would they give you an appointment and then keep the car 6 days without doing any check on it? read more

I've got greeted by snarky some skinny receptionist. After that left me a bad taste in my mouth, I had to look for the other refutable body-shop that they will do the job. I know every body shop can get the jobs, but the question is can they do the job! I think it was all just because I was Indian that's why I think that the receptionist thought that she can play around. If I were you I would replace that person to save your business. There are plenty of other modest, talented people, who can do better job than that the person could've done it to me. What would you do if your receptionist doesn't greet you when your customer is there and standing there? I was referred to Queen City from the Jaguar dealership in Lynwood, when I had scraped a huge portion of my F-Pace by coming too close to a pillar. I had already received two quotes from other repair shops for $2,000. and $3,000. dollars respectively. Knowing Queen City had a great reputation in advance, I was skeptical up front and was imagining the work would be good, however the estimate would be even more than the others. But I took a chance and drove from Edmonds to Redmond to get a final estimate. First off, the service was excellent: I was promptly greeted by Scott Slavsky, who evaluated the damage, (and a couple of other dings I hadn't originally mentioned), and he said, "If you have some time, I might be able to take care of this right now". He immediately called on one of his excellent technicans 'Lav', who came out, took my car around back to begin the repair on the spot. Now I realize that my situation was unique, and not everybody will have the same type of damage I did, but I waited around in anticipation for about 30 minutes, and when Lav drove my car back out front I couldn't believe my eyes: It was completed repaired, (all 3 areas) and looked brand new! (And I'm not kidding: The damage and scrapes I came in with were no small deal.) So after thanking them for taking care of it so quickly, (the other estimates were going to require me to leave the car in the shop for 5+ days) so having it done on the spot was a miracle.....only to be followed by another miracle: 'How much do I owe you?', I said. This has got to be the worst company in the world to deal with. I wish I could give them zero stars. My Porsche Cayenne was damaged in a freak accident in February 2016. It is now the end of July and I still don't have my car back. All of my emails have gone unanswered. Whenever I call there is no one available to answer my questions. On the rare occasion someone actually bothers to return my messages, all they offer is lies, excuses and broken promises. Not once has anyone from the company called me to apologize when delivery dates were not met or when there were delays. My advice - do not do business with this company. They clearly don't value their clients. UPDATE This company failed to respond to my previous calls and messages but amazingly I received a call from the owner Steve less than half an hour after this post. Thanks YELP and Google! Steve seemed to be genuinely apologetic and concerned about trying to resolve my issues. Clearly he cares about his business but certainly his staff don't. He told me that it was policy to call customers once per week with update. I burst out in laughter when I heard this. I was finally able to collect my car today from Porsche in Bellevue. However to my horror I noticed that although the initial repairs has been quoted at $15K the final bill was over $30K. I was never informed of this increase at any time!!! Porsche offered me only $30K to buy the car from me - the same as it cost to fix. They told me they would not sell it retail but at auction. In other words a car that should be worth $55K is worth almost half. I am furious. I'm going to speak to an attorney on Monday and see what recourse I have against Queen City and Porsche of Bellevue. read more

I took my Mercedes into Queen City on recommendation by my mechanic in Bellevue. The entire experience was very unprofessional and I was never contacted with updates or as changes where made in the pick up date of my car. The repair was to take 1 week and ended up taking 12 days which is ok if they would call me to inform my of changes to when my car would be ready. After the repair was completed and my insurance company didn't pay for any of this so it was cash out of my pocket to repair. The paint on the front bumper still has a noticeable smudge and ripple as well as then triggered a sensor on my airbag that also needed to be reset. After returning to have the sensor reset by Queen City I waited 25 minutes for someone to come out and talk with me while they where in a "meeting" but yet I could hear they where just talking in the back office yet letting customer wait in the lobby, NOT professional at all and not to mention they way the very nice girls at the reception desk where treated by the owner David was something borderline employee abuse. I am disappointed that in a world that is based on customer service that places like this still in business. I am a business owner as well and would never treat a customer or a person on my team the way Queen City Rebuild has treat me as a customer or the disrespect of the employees which is most likely a major employment violation. read more
