After passing by this Chinese restaurant maybe a dozen times, I decided to get lunch takeout to give it a try. This restaurant is a cut above the typical Chinese takeout place in that they have a decent and comfortable dine-in area too. So it's about halfway between a Chinese takeout and a Chinese sitdown restaurant. Service was okay. The food itself seemed also a bit better than a typical Chinese takeout. Where they let me down is when I opened the package, I saw that they hadn't packed any napkins or plastic utensils, which is kind of inexcusable when even the most basic Chinese takeout does that. read more

Don't believe descriptions on menu. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork, and as described in menu it came with pork stir fried with pineapple, bell peppers onions and ginger. Just the way I like it. What did I get? A container filled with deep fried pork and a side container of sweet and sour sauce. None of the other ingredients. I called Queen Cuisine and complained. I was told that the menu changed a few months ago and now the dish only included fried pork and side of S&S sauce. No apologies, no refund, no satisfactory explanation. When I asked why don't you change the menu (online & printed form) I was told "boss hasn't changed yet, will soon" Ridiculous. Never going back. No way to run a business. "Semi crispy egg noodles" the menu is what it's supposed to look like and this is what we got... TWICE. The noodles are so hard you can pick them up whole and they're all stuck together. I ask for hot water, and almost always get attitude. Maybe they think I'm cheap because I bring a teabag. Which I do because I bring an organic one. I had egg foo young and got super thin and runny black sauce to go with it and not the pretty rich brown gravy that you normally get. The fried rice and shrimp did not one scallion to speak of and was cold and tasteless This food was so bad I was expecting to find a cigar or broken tooth in it. What irks me the most is that I was super hungry and still couldn't get past two mouthfuls. I felt like going back to the restaurant and telling them to eat this mess. Found a staple in my mouth from the food I ordered for takeout. Called and asked to talk to the manager. They didn't know who manager was. Wanted to report it so they could make sure it didn't happen again. Gave my phone number and asked for call back which never happened. Food was good, but I don't order from them any more. Went out to lunch with co-workers we decided to try this place. The smell upon entering was offensive, sour smelling and the wait time was crazy slow! It took forever to get our food and once we got it the portions were small and the food was expensive. Ordered the Singapore Fun Noddles and there were the worst I ever had! Sour smelling and tastless, I will never return here again. I would think for the high prices and upscale area this restaurant is located in they would be on par, but they are not. read more

The Cantonese House (combo) Chow Fun is also one of my favorites! The boneless BBQ Pork is yummy as well! Crab Won-tons are crispy and tasty! The house fried rice (combo) is loaded with fresh shrimp, chicken, pork.. and is always fresh! Our kids love the Honey Chicken and Sweet & Sour chicken! I have to agree with them! It's nice tender chicken with lots of flavor in the sauces they provide! This is the only place we go to in Glen Mills to Chinese! Always greeted with a smile by the caring owners/staff. Unfortunately I have been spoiled by Chinatown (Thanks Han Dynasty, Lee How and Imperial Inn). This is OK chinese at best. While the wonton soup got raves from Angel and the angelettes, the Lo Mein and Phoenix and Dragon (General Tso and Spicy Shrimp) were mediocre at best. Good pricing , average food, convenient and relatively fast (doesnt all chinese take out take 10 minutes?) make for a decent option in the area. Not bad just not great. read more

We order from here when we work late nights at work... the food is good... way better than the local joints right over the boarder in Wilmington, DE. But the delivery time is terrible! Over an hour every time we order no matter what day of the week. One time they delivered the wrong item and a girl asked to just get the item refunded back onto her card and instead of doing that they brought back the item originally wanted when we were closing work... oh well... steamed dumplings are still yummy and the white meat chicken is always great!!! read more

Zero Chinese food restaurants in our area except Queen, the food has gotten worse by the year. 3 persons eating basic food for $58 is not worth the cost. Queens "special" rice was plain raw w/dry pork for over $8, lo mein we can't describe the weird flavor & color is one we've never seen, eggplant overcooked mushy for $8, gen tso was dry breading and grissle, tofu was inedible and a joke to call silken?!, a bag delivered with grease down the entire inside from something we didn't know, and fortune cookies were completely stale! We're done with overpriced fast food in this town - poor quality to say the least. You can't drown wads of brown sauce on crappy food and think it's gourmet.
