UPDATE: $53 for threading and tinting???? came for a second visit and my brows look ok..A little too dark for my skin and hair color bust still look nice. I was new to this threading and tinting process. I almost threw up in my mouth when she charged me $53 for threading and tinting!!!! I've since called four different places that thread and tint and not one has quoted me over $25. I even asked all them are sure? For both it's $23? Yes yes it is! I feel ripped off and cheated by two ladies I trusted and believed were offering a great service. I will never be back. I'm sure I can find a $25 salon that has nice people working there and not snake oil salesmen! So disappointed Removing all the stars I can. Came in as a walk in and was greeted right away by the cutest little boy! The two sisters work together here and are both a delight to do business with. Very warm and welcoming! You get what you pay for - please spend the money and get professional quality microblading. I was referred to Haneen by a friend and watched a segment on the news about how great her microblading is, but I should have known something was up since it was only $300. I arrived for my appointment and Haneen's Assisant Nadia started the process with numbing. After waiting an hour and Haneen didn't show up, Nadia said she could start so pre-microblading stuff for Haneen. This "pre-microblading" was literally starting the microblading. She didn't ask questions about what I wanted, she just started. She did a few strokes on each brow, scheduled my touch up appointment, and charged me $300. I left disappointed and confused. Fast forward to my touch up appointment. Haneen started the touch up and kept denying I ever had a first visit because there were literally no microblading strokes. Once again, she didn't ask questions or do any pre-draws. When finished, I was very distressed and explained that they were uneven and noticeably different from each other. She assured me they'd heal perfectly and she would make adjustments at another touch up. After my third appointment, they still looked awful. I hate my brows and have to spend tons of time filling them in and struggle to make them even close to symmetrical. It has been 3 years and they're finally faded enough to get them covered up somewhere else. read more

Botched experience and botched brows. I've had my eyebrows threaded and waxed for years. I have thick, coarse eyebrows. The right side of my face (and hence brows) has a slight palsy. Nothing noticeable but it makes threading more challenging. I made an appointment for 1230pm with a very professional receptionist. I got there and there was a lady named Nadia just sitting around, unaware of my appointment. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. She said she would give me something "more beautiful". Should have been a warning sign. She took a long time to do my brows by threading. I am right behind the reception and can hear her and the receptionist speaking in Arabic and a young child learning English. I speak some Arabic and then hear the word "Haneem" which I recognize from the yelp reviews. The receptionist comes over and corrects my brows. I'm thinking absolute worst at this point. My graduation is tomorrow so I'm a little worried. Not the worst eyebrow job I've ever had, but you can obviously tell they messed up. Passable. They tried to blame me for having " thin brows" not the fact that they over plucked....and that I needed to come back in 3 weeks. It is a this point, that I realize that Nadia has a giant cold sore on her lip but I'm already in too deep. As she has thread in her mouth which touches my face, this is gross. When I'm done, I realize that all her instruments she used on my face were unsanitized and just sitting on a table with hair clippings. Never again. I really wanted to like this place as I've been trying to find a threader in Cincy and want to support Ethnic women owned businesses. I was very hesitant to go to the Queen of Brows because of her price. I was able to get my eyebrows done for as little as $5 at home in Seattle, and found $25 hard to justify. I really enjoyed my first few visits to Haneen. My eyebrows had been kind of messed up from a few people from mall stands doing them. The first couple of times I went, I was very happy and I felt confident that she would be able to fix my brows and get them back to how they should be, even though I still felt I was paying a lot. Haneen is a very friendly woman, but I also think that she may be growing more distracted, as every time I have gone in, her baby has been there, and once, there was someone discussing her finances with her, even though I had called and made an appointment. The last time I went to Haneen, I was not as satisfied with my brows. I ended up going to a different place two weeks later, and the woman who did my brows was SHOCKED that Haneen had done my brows just two weeks prior. My arch was essentially gone, and my brows were straight lines. They really did not look good, and I am again working to fix my brows. The woman who does my brows said that she learned from Haneen how to shape brows, so I have no doubts about her talent, however, I doubt that I will go back to the Queen of Brows. I get a lot more compliments on my brows now that I haven't been there for a few weeks. read more

Haneen is amazing, but this review is not for her. Haneen has been training an assistant for some time now so on the day I came in and saw that Haneen was not in and her assistant was taking her place, I assumed things would be okay. I was wrong. The assistant left my eyebrows with two different thicknesses and two different shapes. Do not trust that woman. She is wicked. Now I have to wait another month before my eyebrows can be restored to their initial glory. Do not let haneen's assistant touch your brows. read more

I visted Haneen for the first time yesterday after she was recommended by a friend. I wanted to have my brows shaped and threaded. She did a fantastic job, explained what she was going to do, what she wanted to accomplish and made sure that I was happy with that. She was very quick at threading, was pretty painless ( those who have had threading before know that its not entirely pain free !!). My brows look great, we still have some work to do to get the exact shape that will work best for my face shape and brows, which are quite dark and thick. Haneen is amazing at fixing brows. I was disappointed with my overly waxed thin brows. She said it would take a while to grow in but to keep coming back till they were ready for just regular maintenance. Even on the first visit there was such an amazing difference. I would have been pleased leaving them the way she had them. Today was my second visit and I am even more pleased. The shape makes my brows look much stronger and really help add structure to my face. I couldn't be happier. She also sold me a brow pencil and instructed me on how to use it.
