We were staying at the nearby Hilton Ocean Tower and this was our daily pit stop when we were returning from our day trips. They offer some great souvenir shops, restaurants, coffee house, and the market. The stroll through here is always pleasant and they have sufficient parking available.

Came here to do a little shopping and it was great! There are many stores to shop at, lots of food options in food court and surrounding buildings. It was fairly busy for a Monday afternoon. They also have lots of events that happen here like a farmers market on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, ukulele lessons, live music and singing, hula dance demonstrations and I'm sure much more. Check the website for more info. Definitely stop in for grocery and souvenir needs. Close to the Hilton resorts nearby and even shuttle service if you don't have a car. Also a few minutes drive from the King Shops. Enjoy!!

The Market is very nice and has a great selection of foods and drinks. It also has souvenirs. Nice area with very good restaurants.

Aloha my friends! Second time back in terms of the Big Island. Again love this island so quiet for my style. Back to the grocery shop review. Lots of options if you need to do any shopping while on this side of the Big Island. Basically, this is a ABC store/ 7/11, Hawaiian BBQ, Panda Express kind of feel in the mainland. There is an especially useful and well-stocked grocery store here where we did a lot of our shopping to stock up on supplies for this portion of the trip. However, if you like bulk shopping of course there is Costco and Walmart 40 miles away. Overall I love this place. Parking was also easy, and the public spaces within the shopping center were lovely.

I rated this place higher on the scale for a couple of reasons. I had this place bookmarked prior to visiting due to all the wonderful reviews from Yelpers! In Waikiola, there are not many places to visit so I wanted to make the best of my time. This marketplace appeared to have a lot going on so we decided to stop here a couple times. It was not too far from our resort but definitely not a short walk. We visited here at least 3 days during our visit to Kona. There are so many types of businesses here. There are restaurants, bars, retail stores, a movie theater, and essentials. We stopped in the ABC store each time we visited the marketplace because that store has everything you could want on a vacation! We also browsed in other stores but did not purchase anything. We visited several bars in the marketplace as well. The Rum Bar was a fun experience and we had a couple round of drinks. We also stopped in the Wine Bar one night. Honestly, the view I think was my favorite part of the marketplace. You can see why by looking at the photos I took. I actually sat there for 15 minutes taking in the gorgeous views. This is definitely a place worth visiting when you are in the area but FYI, grab an Uber earlier than 8pm because we struggled each time past 8pm to grab an Uber back to our resort.

Would you come to Hawaii if you had to pay $1400+ a week for a car rental, if available at all? I always come to Hawaii during the April 15 tax time, as that's the time they have timeshare openings. April 15, 2021 no rental car openings. Fifth time I've been to the Big Island, including three times when the volcano was erupting years ago. Second consecutive year stayed at Ocean Tower Hilton Waikoloa Village without a car. We can go without a car, because two giant shopping centers, King's Shops and Queens Marketplace within walking distance of our timeshare. The $3 Waikoloa Trolley and the free Hilton Grand Vacation shuttle travel between our timeshare and the shopping center, each running every 30 minutes. Place has a food court, supermarket, cinema, and the usual tourist traps of jewelry, clothes, art galleries, and other souvenir stores.   Did all our grocery shopping at Island Gourmet Market, including cereal, milk, quaker oats, blueberries, lettuce, tomatoes, dressing, and 36 oz plain no fat yogurt.  Got hot food, bento boxes, sushi, and hot restaurant made to order food. Their sushi was so good, we purchased sushi almost every morning. Ate at Ippys Hawaiian BBQ, Charley's Thai Bistro, Island Gourmet Market, Romano's Macaroni and Grill, and Kuleana Rum Shack, all with indoor dining just starting in April, 2021. Long lines and waits to get in during prime dinner times, due to 25% limits on indoor dining. Purchased short fins, snorkel tube and mask at Blue Wilderness Dive Adventures for $52.35 (includes tax), about the cost of renting them for one day at Hilton Waikoloa Village lagoon. We didn't eat at Sansei, as they were just reopening for take out, and didn't have their Sunday-Monday evening half off discounts. Aloha Bol, Big Island Burritos, Hawaii Fish N Chips, Paradise Pizza & Grill, Subway and Lemongrass Express all in the food court are closed. Watched the hula dance shows at the pavilion in front of the food court, in February 2020, before the pandemic, and downloaded five videos with this review. April 15, 2021, the hula dance shows are cancelled indefinitely, another victim of the pandemic. Oh, yes, they have a Crocs store here, but men, would you be willing to be seen wearing pink Croc clogs? Not me!

Walkable. It's like an oasis in the middle of this barren lava rock riddled island here. An assortment of shops and restaurants here. It's a welcome retreat after seeing black lava on either side of the road. They use red bulbs for the street parking lights.

Cute plaza, with a little bit of everything.

Lovely upscale shopping plaza, with a little bit of everything - from boutiques to coffee to restaurants/bars and even a (luxury) movie theater. Familiar brand names along with small local businesses reside here. It's a convenient & picturesque spot for grabbing a bite to eat or doing a little shopping. I always enjoy a stroll around here, whenever I'm in Waikoloa.

Beautiful shopping center, has a big market, pretty shaded landscaping

This is a sad little mall with a nice big ABC store that has some good food. That's the only thing that gets me to come here.

No table, no seats but 3 for a family of 7. We left afterwards instead of shopping because the heat made it uncomfortable and with no seating for 4 it was just a downward spiral with fussy kids. That's when I visited Tiffany & Co here. I was just looking around and were greeted by the sweetest workers who didn't care if I was there to buy jewelry or not. Usually, I would get a greeting and that's about it. They would go back to chit chatting with each other. But not here! Everyone was so welcoming. We were helped by Mika. She showed us some watches and since I was there, I asked if I can get my rings cleaned. While waiting for rings to be cleaned, a couple more employees asked if we needed any help or wanted anything to drink. We politely declined, but the manager, Hassan took it upon himself and us some drinks in a Tiffany bag (one water bottle and one sparkling water) and said it's a hot day... we may need it later. He also gave us some cookies that are popular on the big island. A small gesture like that goes a long way and we were just so appreciative. Overall, such friendly staff that seems to work together as a team. No one cared if I was already being helped by someone else, they will do whatever to make you feel comfortable and do not need anything else. Seems like the manager is leading by example himself, which is why he such wonderful employees. I would definitely come back. Overall, I definitely recommend this Tiffany & Co if you're in the area and are looking to buy jewelry.
