If I could give 0 stars i would. I have called about 3 times now. Once at 9am they tell me ill get a call at 10 with my results. I call at 10:30 then they tell me the latest you guys will call is 12 PM now I have called at 12:30 PM and I'm being told that I may get a call by 6 PM. This is absolutely ridiculous. My gf was met with this short old brown doctor, no joke he looked at her throat for 5 seconds and said he would send her prescription just to find out she's allergic to the prescription and it didn't help at all. Went here about a week ago and was told I'd get results for my son and I in 3-5 days. Called multiple times, still no results and today is Jan. 6. Went back today because I was told we'd be able to get the rapid test. Showed up no rapid test available!!! So we we were given the pcr again. Also, the man giving orders and handling the phones and insurance cards, who I was told was a doctor, visibly wiped his nose with his hand and continued to carry on working I don't know whose running this rude and understaffed place, but I'm sure this is one of the reasons why covid is spreading... people don't know if their positive and this man isn't following protocol as he should. Came here because the line for a covid test wasn't as long as the other lines in the neighborhood and now I know why.. Not sure how this doctor is able to keep his medical license. He is price gouging if you want a rapid test of $250 and if you need a PCR test, says the results are not coming back for 7 days. We are still waiting for our results from this office and in the meantime, the next day we took another PCR elsewhere and already got our results back. We are told to log into some system for the results, however, when you go, you aren't able to get in. You try to call for the results and the phone goes straight to an already full mailbox that cannot accept anymore messages. The " doctor's assistant " took a nose swab then had the audacity to LOSE MY SWAB 5 MINUTES LATER ! There has been an outbreak of the Mumps at my work place. I felt swelling on the right side of my jaw and thought.. oh nooo. I rushed over to this place as it was already 9pm on a Saturday night 3/3/18. They told me it was going to be $150 deductable. They take my blood pressure, and check my temperature. Doctor comes in and asks me reason for visit. I tell him because Ive been exposed to ppl in the office who had the mumps. I have a 1 yr old daughter at home (who also havent received MMR vaccination yet) and need to know if I have it. Checks the swelling on my jaw line below my ear and he goes, yes it looks like the first stages of the Mumps. He looked like he was going to end the visit right then, and kept saying theres no real diagnosis to determine. I told him that my work place requires 1. Blood work and 2. A swab test. Im certain that he wouldn't have done any of these tests if I didnt ask. He also googled stuff to show me that there's nothing he can do. Which was a little frustrating. The nurses were all very nice though and helpful. I'm laying in bed with swollen cheeks writing this as I wait for them to get back to me with results and next steps. ___ Update #1: 3/7/18 Changing to 1 star rating. I gave my blood on Saturday and it's now Wednesday and still no results yet. While my wife went to the drs Monday and she received her results today.. before me! Update #2: 3/8/18 Its now Thursday morning and blood results are still pending. They asked me to call back in a few hours. The doctors note only allowed me to stay home Monday, but I havent been in at all this week. I'm lucky that my work place is understanding, if I worked at any other place I probably would be let go. Update #3: 3/8/18 night. After constant calling they finally told me that the blood test was ready but the swab test was what was causing the delay. Blood shows positive for immunity which means either Ive been exposed to mumps or I have recently been vaccinated. Since im showing symptoms, I would say the prior. Swab test is still pending. 3/9/18 swelling has shifted from the right side of my face to the left and below the chin and the right side is feeling better. read more

I had a totally different experience with the other yelpers on here. Just went on a Sunday morning to visit the Dr for a suspected sinus infection. I was seen right away, the nurse and doctor were very attentive and professional. This is a perfect place for quick, immediate help for ordinary run of the mill illnesses. They offer doctors notes for employers and to call In prescriptions where you prefer to go. Would totally Go back and recommend this to friends and family. read more

Came in an hour before closing on July 4, with a highly infected hand (probably from an insect bite, since it's happened before). Dr. K made a quick, but efficient evaluation, sent in electronic prescriptions and had me out shortly. Walking in, my first impression of the facility was not favorable as it is a bit run down and staff wasn't dressed in expected scrubs or lab coat, but bottom line was quick, accurate diagnosis and meds effectively controlled the problem over the next five days. read more

I came to this facility for a pink eye. My insurance does not require me to pay a fee or copay to see a doctor but the doctor charged me $50 to see without providing me a receipt. After consulting with my wife, I went back to see the doctor to ask why I was charged and was told he was going to refund the money next week once he verified that I did not have to pay a copay - this is not how insurance works. He had no plans to refund the money or check with the insurance company. 2nd he prescribed a $199 bacterial eye drop for a pink eye. I was in shock because my daughter had a pink eye last week and her meds were $1. So I requested for the pharmacy to call him to request the same medication my daughter got the week before. All in all this is a bad facility and it scams people out of money for short term gain. Immediately no, immediately no. I was looking for a place to get a PCR for my child and this was the first establishment to pop up on Google with almost 5-starts and over 700 reviews so I didn't think twice to read the reviews and just went with it. Sooo... we walk into the place and it looks like a trap house, mess everywhere. I should have turned and left but we needed this PCR in order for my child to go back to school so I just bit the bullet and continued. There is a dude hanging around looking like he didn't belong and when I walked up to the make-shift front desk he asked "can I help you?". I thought he was a freak trying to talk to me but I guess he was a "doctor" or something so I told him I needed a PCR for my child and he asked for my ID and Insurance card. One of the girls at the front desk was eating chips and she licked her fingers before he handed her my ID and insurance ..YUCK. I kept hearing him tell her "co-pay? co-pay? co-pay?" They began talking amongst themselves, so I'm not sure what was said during that. Minutes later, he told us to follow him to a nook where he does the swab test. The area was super messy with paper everywhere and the chairs were old and dirty- not a good look for an urgent care facility. He barely put the swab in my childs' nose and said okay bye. I was trying to ask when I should expect the results he just says "email, email bye" I said what? he said "email, check your email, bye" This was on Jan. 20th. Jan. 21st, no results. Jan. 22nd no results. I ended up calling and a girl answered the phone, I asked for the status of the results she said to send an email with my child's DOB and name, did that... crickets. On the 23rd I called again a man answered, probably the "doctor" - I told him I'd been calling for results and before I could finish my sentence, I was put on a 5 min hold. A woman gets on the line... she asked for the patient's information... I gave it to her then, she said "oh you were here yesterday about the blood work you did?" Ummm no, try again. She thought she put me on hold but I could hear her speaking to the man saying "I can't find anything." I am placed on hold again. The man comes back on the line and says "we sent it to your email and hangs up". I call back and he answers and says "look at your email!" I told him my email was open but nothing was there and he hung up again. Five minutes later the "results" showed up in my inbox but, because of the experience and the way the test was performed, I don't even feel comfortable with the accuracy so we are going somewhere else to get a PCR read more

This place is beyond ghetto. I lined up on Tuesday, Dec. 28th because I passed by and saw that the line was reasonably short. After waiting about 30 minutes, I got to the front of the line to see the filthiest urgent care possible. (Picture a third-world country's urgent care). However, I didn't mind, since the line was so short and I really wanted my nose swabbed for precaution as I was exposed to COVID+ people recently. The next day, I brought my mom and sister to the urgent care to do the same. Cut to the following Wednesday (approx. 8 days later) and I had not received my results (even though they told me results would come 2-5 days). Upon calling (many times), I finally reached who I assumed was the "boss" of the urgent care and he told me to reach the Lab to follow-up. When I contacted the lab to receive the results for my sister, mom and myself, they told me 1. They did not ever receive my lab specimen. 2. My sister's "PCR" swab was sent in for a "Respiratory test", not a PCR test and 3. Only my mom's swabbed specimen was correctly sent in. At this point, the time to quarantine had long passed even if I was positive. This place is horrendously filthy. The "boss" who may also be the "doctor" needs to change his surgical gloves ASAP (See photo for reference). I recommended the place to a friend who went on Thursday, Dec. 28th. She had another perspective - a lady near her told her that the boss was a homeless man living in the hotel nearby and there was no way she'd let him swab her nose (Take what you want with this information). Regarding my friend's results, she found out the results to her PCR test 7 days later but her sister's results never made it to the lab either. All in all, if the line is short, you can take the risk and come here. They work kind-of quick, in comparison to other testing sites but you'll risk never getting your results. read more

I like how this urgent care is close to St. John's & their hours are a lot longer than most other urgent cares (they close at midnight when others usually close around 9pm). The doctor here is okay, he clearly knows what he's doing and will look at you. When I went for conjunctivitis in both of my eyes, he just quickly looked at me, told me which medication he was going to prescribe, and left. I took off a star because he didn't really take the time to tell me about what I had (my case was a little different from usual conjunctivitis cases) or really observe me for other issues (I also had mentioned I had a very sore throat). As a healthcare student, I didn't mind it because I already knew what to do. However, I'm more concerned for the patients who aren't in the healthcare field and are just blindly taking the drugs that the doctor prescribed. Overall, I would come back to this urgent care again if I needed care late at night. The office staff and doctors are competent in my eyes, just not very thorough with their counseling. read more

It's OK. Not A-OK, but just OK. The place was a bit rundown. The office staff is competent but could be more friendly, but you're not going here to get a smile and good service, right? The doctor was competent. I'd trust him to treat burns, do stitches, and other types of first aid, which is what you probably need if you're coming here. It is one of the VERY FEW urgent care places in Queens that's open till midnight, so for that reason alone, I rate them A-OK and advocate for you to put their phone number and address into your cellphone contacts and on your fridge, because if it's after 6pm, you're either coming here or to a hospital ER which means better care and more resources, but *endless* waiting and potentially much bigger cost. So if it's night, count your blessings and come here if you're not about to keel over and die. It's what this place is here for. read more

I never get sick, this year I caught the flu. Horrible out for an entire week. Dr. saw me within 10 minutes of arrival, very clean and friendly atmosphere. I never expected to be treated with such professional and expectational service by MD. He followed up with my results and treated me accordingly. Still a week later not fully recovered and he adjusted my meds and saw me again immediately after. After my third attempt today, he and his staff welcomed me into his office immediately and assisted me with my breathing. I left the office breathing well on my own again. Don't go there please. I never saw such type careless Urgent Care in my life. First day (March 26 I went there, one big hair approached to me and asked " do you have flight, do you have flight." I replied why? He answered, 'If you have flight, you would get it next day.'' Fine. What about I have don't have flight, the big hair told me, then- it will take five working days. I told I need them by 2 to three days, because I am sick. the guy told me I need to pay $ 250.00. I was surprised since my insurance covers the cost. However, I left the vicinity. Monday March 29 I went there with my wife. I was looking for a parking. My wife stepped up there before me. By this time my wife gave sample for Covid19 test before my arrival. My wife came inside, I saw one guy ''lien and thin with unclean attires in the body, not medical standard, very much closed to my wife (no distance at all). However, the guy noted down the email address of my wife and the phone number stating that they would send the results. the vicinity is also so dirty. I saw three receptionists there rounding one another, no distance at all. the big hair approached to me and told me " Flight , Flight, you have flight? today flight, tomorrow flight? Again I was surprised, what the hell is going on there! However, I told him If I do not have flight, he told me ''then you need to pay $ 250.00.'' Why, my insurance covers the charges, why should I pay? He told me then it will take five working days, if not you may go. I was surprised to see their audacity. My wife is so scared, she does not know her fate yet, it is almost nine days. today is April 4 , it is almost 8 days, they have not yet sent the results to my wife email address or called her. However, on April 2nd I called the Office. I told the receptionist " it is five days, why my wife is not receiving the results", the receptionist told me it would take 6 days. But today april 4 10 46 pm tomorrow would be 9 days. Is there any one to look up the matter please, what's going on there?
