This is a great location with a bird's eye view of the vessel. The staff was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. For food, the beef tartare with the fried egg yolk was incredible, the smashed avocado with sweet potato chips, the burrata and the calamari were an amazing start. The fish and chips and the steak were amazing. A really great overall experience.

I think Queensyard might officially be one of my favorite spots The Caesar salad? 10/10 -- easily one of the best I've had. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the tuna tartare (I'm usually not a raw girl), but this one surprised me. The spicy sauce balanced everything perfectly, and the crispy rice underneath added the perfect crunch -- that contrast really made the dish. For drinks, my sister had the Monkey Business and the Gold Standard espresso martini -- she loved the Monkey Business, just wished it was a little bigger. I had the Airplane Mode, which was super refreshing and light. I also ordered the burger and fries -- sturdy, juicy, and really satisfying. A solid classic done well. Between the food, drinks, and that beautiful sunset view, the whole experience just felt right. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

Came for the Aperol Spritz, stayed for the ambiance. The Rose Room feels like a hidden jewel box--lush florals, soft rose tones, and warm, flattering lighting that makes everything (and everyone) look better. It's elegant and romantic without trying too hard, the kind of place where time slows down and conversations linger. There's a refined, almost dreamy energy in the room--intimate but still buzzy, with just the right level of background music to set the mood without overpowering it. Whether you're on a date or out with friends, it feels special and transportive, like a mini escape in the middle of the city. Pair that atmosphere with a perfectly made Aperol Spritz and you've got a top-tier NYC cocktail experience.

LOVE everything about Queensyard! Lovely modern, contemporary, & inviting decor. Upbeat jazz/house playlist. Stunning view of the Vessel. Impeccably attentive service. Amazing & inventive cocktail list and a food menu so good that you can't help but order several options to share. Pro Tip: Seafood risotto + Truffle fries= WIN! Cheers!

What an amazing lunch experience at Queensyard in Hudson Yards, right by the Vessel! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance immediately stood out -- bright, stylish, and complemented by truly beautiful views that made the entire meal feel special. We started by sharing the fried calamari, which was perfectly crispy and seasoned just right -- a fantastic way to begin. For our mains, we shared the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Rigatoni Bolognese. Both pasta dishes were distinct in flavor and expertly prepared, comforting yet refined at the same time. To finish, we shared a crème brûlée that was executed flawlessly -- silky, rich, and topped with the perfect caramelized crust. The service throughout our lunch was very attentive without ever feeling overbearing, which elevated the experience even more. We left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to coming back. If you're searching for a restaurant that pairs delicious food with amazing views, a beautiful ambiance, and excellent service, this spot is absolutely worth visiting.

This is a must. Everything was amazing from the service, to the food, to the ambiance. We got seated right by the big windows overlooking the Vessel. Best short ribs and Espresso martini I've ever had! We ordered a few appetizers and loved them all. Friend raved about the fish and chips and the risotto. Make sure to add the truffles. Literally I don't think you can go wrong with anything here. We ordered all the desserts each one was better than the next. Treat yourself, make a reservation, and hopefully you get Anna as your server!

The pasta dishes were really good and the brussel sprouts were flavored well. The cookies and cream dessert was just ok. The decor is cute - our waiter was a little lack luster. Didn't say much and did not seem like he wanted to be at work that day.

Yummy food. Great ambiance. Just a bit loud. Good for friends and hanging out. Little tough for a date. Great views!!

We were lucky enough to sit by the window in this beautiful restaurant at Hudson yards. My friend visiting from California loved the view from the Edge but we got hungry and decided to stop here for a nice meal. Queensyard broght the magic with its views service and amazing food. I ordered the bolognaise and it was out of the world. The noodles were not too heavy and while at first the portion may have looked small it was enough to leave me full and satisfied. The cream sauce was light and flavorful and just the right amount of chopped meat so as not one single item was competing with the other but all around perfectly well done. The salad and her risotto with mushrooms were equally as delicious. Eveything was exceptional to be quite honest. It was one of those meals where you just cant put your fork down until you're finished and which leaves you wowed by both its simplicity and its complexity. Well done on meal fit for two queens!

Beautiful restaurant and esthetics for you social media folks!!! Great views!!! It's extremely dark, so be prepare to take out your cellphones and turn on your flashlights to view and read the menu (this is why I gave it 3 stars!) the waiters/waitresses are great and attentive. Food and drinks were delish, just be prepared to pay top money for it! (Another reason why I gave it 3 stars!!!) it's your general American cuisine with sky high prices. The Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese, asparagus, and fish and chips were delicious!

Amazing food and the ambiance doesn't miss! Celebrating the birthday of one of the most important people in my life she picked this place and she made the right choice . Rib eye steak, Short Rib , Oysters and Brussels sprouts were a standout! The window view was a plus and we appreciated it ! Definitely a place to bring someone special. The service was good.. not great ! Definitely could use a little improvement.

Queensyard was awesome! We landed a reservation earlier in the day and hit the seating lotto right by the window. The place itself was spacious, lots of seating, low, yet comfortable lighting. Easy to talk at the table and if there was ambient noise I don't remember it. Staff was extremely kind and service was top notch. The food and drinks we ordered ranged from excellent to incredible. The sourdough bread was a surprising highlight that blew us away. That said, I highly remember queensyard and I hope you Enjoy!!

I will begin by saying there isn't a bad seat in the restaurant, views for everyone. We were seated quickly upon checking in for our reservations at a table for two by the window directly across from the Vessel with a peek-a-boo view of the water and sunset. Started with the truffle caesar salad, all items were fresh. For main courses did the seared ora king salmon which came with leeks, swiss charred, added a side of whipped mashed potatoes. The other main course did the queensburger and french fries. Both meals were enjoyable. We wrapped with the banana date sticky toffee pudding, with vanilla ice cream, and dark chocolate crunch. Drinks were tasty and did not disappoint. Overall it was a good experience and would return to try other items on the menu.

It was my favorite part of the meal and that dish was absolutely cleared. The sauce reminded me of butter chicken and the lemon was so juicy, the perfect splash of acidity to the prawn. Hamachi crudo was unique tasting with the green mango, tamarind, and curry oil. The peri peri chicken was very moist, most of the flavor is coming from the buttermilk ranch and peri peri sauce though, so I like that they included sauce on the side! I also loved the chicken nugget that came with the dish more than peri peri chicken itself. Hope they do chicken nuggets with their ranch and peri peri sauce as an appetizer some day. Braised oxtail gratin was a wee bit spicy and tingly, but well seasoned. The crispy cheddar polenta and onions were my favorite part of that dish. Anyway this is a tiny spot with the inside looking like someone's house so it's a fun atmosphere. They apparently added cocktails since I was here a while ago which is a good idea as the somewhat salty food here definitely goes with drinks. I believe I had a glass of white wine when I was here but I'm not positive. The service was friendly and gave recommendations to the people here who weren't sure what they were going to order. In terms of Romanian food, I heavily prefer Danubius in Queens among other spots near there but this is a decent option and especially if you don't want to travel to Queens/Brooklyn. For prices as no one has taken a photo of the menu yet, the larger/shared plates are from around $16 bucks (outside of the not so good mamaliga) to $21 while the small plates are around $10. I went with two dishes and one was good and one was just alright and I tried some other dishes from some other people which ranged from bad to OK/decent. In general, the food was fine though lacking some of the more unique flavors listed. The more expensive of the option and easily the best food I had here was the Pickled Mushroom Toast for $21 listed as market mushrooms pickled in a housemade brine on top of bone marrow ricotta spread on top of toast soaked in beef juice. While I could not really detect the beef juice, this had wonderful textures and flavor with the mixed pickled mushrooms being a highlight which had some softness and crunch. The ricotta added some creaminess and the little brown parts on it (presumably the bone marrow) had a bit of richness. The good sourdough from whatever bakery they get it from was nice and thick which is a good idea as it probably would have fallen apart otherwise. If you don't love pickles, you'll probably hate this but I liked it a lot. The other dish which was just okay was "The Mici (meech)" for $16 consisting of lamb and beef housemade sausages spiced with Romanian herb blend and served with miso mustard. The sausages were a bit soft with the texture not being my favorite compared to other restaurants serving this dish. The mustard and herb blend on top was a bit overpowering with a light fermented flavor presumably from the miso which also added a unique though slightly unappetizing off yellow color. The portion size was decent as it definitely could have been split between two people and it was just fine overall. From others, I tried a few different things which were mostly the small plates which are worse. The Mamaliga ($10) had a worse texture than at Danubius or at Moldovan Cafe and I wish I had the eggs and a stronger cheese which is usually what makes this a lot better and I wouldn't recommend it. The Spiced Pickled Red Grapes ($9) was a novel idea with lightly spicy grapes and would go well with a cocktail or beer. The Zakuska dip ($9) was the best of the smaller plates with the same good bread and a nicely roasted red pepper/eggplant dip with a bit of sweetness from the caramelized onions though I prefer similar dips from other places. They also gave us some Gummy Bears as dessert at the end which was unique (no, I'm not writing more about them.) If every dish here was as good as the mushroom toast, I would much more heavily recommend this place but that's not the case as if I didn't have said mushroom toast, I'd very likely be giving this place a 2 for the overall quality. As the best word to describe this place is unique and OK, 3 stars is accurate.

We were a party of 7 and we walked in on a Sunday dinner, and there was no wait. There was a wedding nearby in the restaurant, so it was a bit loud, but it was a good vibe. We ordered a bunch of dishes, such as the Platou Taranesc, Salata Bouef, Pomana Porcului, Pastrama, Mititei, Sarmale, Papanasi, and Coltunasi Platou Taranesc - country plate, basically bread and cold cut, Romanian style. It was a good experience but something I would normally not go out of my way for, since I don't like cold cut. But it is worth trying since Romanian food has a lot of cured meats and such, so the variety here is apparent Salata Bouef - bouef salad. Not beef salad. It is like a potato salad with chicken and veggies. Fairly hearty despite looking like small portions Pomana Porcului - traditional style pork fried meat - does not look fried, but it is a bit cured. A bit tough, maybe that's how they prepare it, but nonetheless flavorful. Pastrama - lamb pastrami - also a bit tough but cured. I liked the flavors but definitely need to eat it like a fork and knife style, not one bite Mititei - Romanian skinless sausages - kind of like a kofta (ground beef) and I loved this meat dish the most Sarmale - stuffed cabbage roll - one of the best cabbage rolls I have tried. Manageable size for each roll, and the cabbage has just the right amount of softness and the filling is super flavorful. Would recommend this 100% Papanasi - Romanian donuts - they say 2 pieces but the pieces are huge and sweet and hearty. A great way to conclude the meal, and enough to feed 4+ people after a nice meal Coltunasi - dumplings - we got beef. These are good but did not stand out. A nice starter Service was amazing and deserving of the auto 20% gratuity. The only miss is the water refills are not as frequent but the server gave us some sides on the house and gave us amazing recommendations of what to try for food for the first time and brought out everything we needed to enjoy the meal.

It is also very cheap for such a decent size portion. Grilled cheese is like cheese stick. It was a very heavy lunch that kept me full for the rest of the day.

They also have beautiful garden seating. I ordered Turkish coffee, fresh grapefruit juice, Gurmanski dorucak, mini burek with spinach and cheese, and fruit cake. I love Turkish coffee and this was very good. The juice was tart and delicious. The breakfast platter was a showstopper. Two fried eggs, tomato, feta, two meat patties, and homemade bread. The flavors of the meat blew my mind. Who knew that Croatians make the most delicious burgers. This is a hearty and fantastic dish. Also, the burek was flaky and light and not very mini. I took home the cake and enjoyed it later. Light, delicate and not overly sweet, this was a star. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you should stop in for any meal. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I can't wait to r

Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.
