My heart did a little jump when I found that they did indeed have a size 8! But it fell right down to my feet when I saw they had it priced more more than double the FC sale price! I asked the shop assistant if perhaps it hadn't been marked down again yet but she informed me in a kind of 'how-many-more-times-do-I-have-to-go-through-this' kind of way that although they stocked FC lines, they do not have to mirror their prices. I was quite disappointed! Generally speaking, the ladies things are very nice but very expensive. But then, that's Clifton; in the changing room I overheard someone trying a dress on for her upcoming trip down the red carpet at the BRITS or BAFTAS or something like that! I think the men's section might be a bit better though.

It's a great place to impulse buy if something catches your eye. They tend to put their best pieces downstairs (which has always seemed a bit self defeatist!) so make sure you take a wander down there. The shop assistants are extremely smiley and sweet whenever I go - must be all the floral prints and bright colours. A nose around Apricot is an instant mood lifter!

Named after David Reiss and originally a men's tailor in London, the shop has grown to cover various countries across the UK whilst retaining an air of independence in each store. In the Park Street branch of Bristol they are very focussed on the customer service side of things, delivering a more exclusive shopping experience. The shopper is accompanied by second to none styling and tailoring advice through a more luxury, high end store. First it was buying, then shopping, now accompanied shopping. Will the reprogramming stop before I make it to the pub?

This is a pretty average Topshop. There is Topman downstairs (which is good as quite a lot of towns…read moreonly seem to have topshop) and a Topshop upstairs. I haven't shopped much in the Topman, my boyfriend doesn't seem to find much that he likes in there. I have visited upstairs a lot. They used to do some of the Kate Moss range which was brilliant, but they haven't seemed to have it in for a while now, which is a shame. They do the usual Tall, petite, underwear, accessories. However there is no maternity here. They have brilliant sale's on jewellery and you can buy a necklace for as little as £2. Always seems to be clean and tidy. Up to date styles but can be a bit on the pricey side. Changing rooms are a good size and there is never a massive queue to get inside. Staff are friendly and will get new sizes when you're in the changing rooms if you need them. Can buy cool sweets from the counter!
