So this may be a long-winded story. We were offered a decrease in our health insurance from work if we took a diagnostic test, they came to my job but I could not make it that day so I had to go to a Quest center to get it done. Myself and someone else from the company made our appointments by calling the branch we wanted to go to directly and setting it up with an automated message. We both received confirmation numbers for our appointments and were set to go. He had his appointment set for the day before mine. When the time came for him to go they told him his appointment wasn't in the system because he had to call a different number and not the branch directly. Why would they take appointments directly if we needed to call a different number to set it up? Our appointments were no where to be found in their computer system, he gave them his confirmation number and they still wouldn't let him take the test. He asked if he could just take it without an appointment since walk-ins are available but they said no. He called me and told me this so I could call the different number and make an actual appointment. When I called the different number I told the guy my scenario and he said that if I have a confirmation number I should be fine, but I told him what happened to my coworker and then he looked in the computer system (after I asked him to) and saw I wasn't there! I had to make my appointment for a later time causing me to be late for work all because of bad computer programming. I asked the guy why I would be able to make an appointment and have a confirmation number if it's not even going to work and he had no answer. So I went for my appointment, I am not a fan of blood tests since I one time passed out during one so my dad came with me to keep me distracted while I was getting it done. I get called in (about 15 minutes late) and I have an Asian nurse who can barely speak English. She asks me what I'm here for and can not find me in the system. Now I go crazy! I told her my whole scenario and then she was telling me she can't do it because I need papers from the doctor although I told her I was not coming from a doctor it was for my insurance and they had people come to my job to do it but I couldn't make it that day. She looked again and eventually found me in the system. Now I am all worked up and even more nervous. She tells me to relax and then had the nerve to tell me I am spoiled because I am nervous and have my dad there to calm me down! She said to me "What are you going to do when you get married? Daddy isn't going to be there." She was just one rude lady! She was terrible at taking my blood and it took twice as long as it usually does since she could not find my vein! I was getting very anxious and she kept telling me to relax when she was hurting me! I was all sore and bruised after she was finished! The only reason I gave them two stars was because it was very clean and neat in there, but the service was horrendous! To add on to this, I was telling my friend about my story and she had a horror story from there as well! She had to get a blood test done there and she had gotten dizzy, she asked if she could sit for a few minutes after she was done and the nurse left the room came back and threw cold water on top of her head! My friend was humiliated having to walk out soaking wet and all upset! The people here and just rude and have no customer service! Terrible visit yesterday. I made an appointment. My dr scheduled bloodwork, electronically, for my daughter, 16, a month ago to assure speed and efficiency. We arrive on time. Sign in to a coffee stained dirty sign in desk. We are called in robotically... for a 16 year old, mind you. "Where are your forms?", "in your computer". "I don't hVe anything". " please check again, what do you mean?" "I don't gave anything". I call my doctor in the room while my daughter with chronic migraines sits in the chair. I have the dr on speakerphone assisting me. "Step outside snd when we get the paperwork you can come back in". Not another client was there, 3-4 young women walking around, leaving for the end of their workday walk past me (at 3:15 pm), and I am holding on the phone waiting for s fax to come through. We were ignored and doors were shut in front of us. I knock on the door after a 15-20 min wait and was looked at as an inconvenience. Never have I experienced such apathy in a health service office. Minimum wage, minimum effort, minimum existence. Thank God I had another Drs appointment at 4:45 to wash away this depressing experience. I can overlook no parking, congestion, failed access to e-records; all of this is beyond our control. Apathy on a health care job with children; never. rude staff, I went in at 11, and hour and a half before lunch (12:30) to get my hour glucose test, the lady calls me inside at 11:20 and and gives me an attitude about coming in right before lunch... so I Chug the drink they give you and she tells me my blood has to be drawn at 11:24, so proceed to sit in the waiting area to wait my hour.... I'm sitting in the waiting area with like 5 other people, and the lady comes out calling me "you, you" and I look up wondering who is she speaking to since I'm not the only person in the waiting area, she then calls me "kelly" mind you my name is Catherine you would think she would check to make sure she's drawing the right persons blood, so she procedes to say "you" and I say me? She goes yes, so I walk over and into the room and she's complaining to ME how she was supposed to draw my blood at 11:24 and it's 11:26... I'm just there like am I supposed to just walk into your room and say it's 11:24 time to draw my blood.. as if i didn't see her sitting on her ass doing jack shit for the past hour every time the door opened .... read more

Long wait time and unpleasant staff. The electronic sign in system has numerous glitches. The wait time on the screen increases and decreases by half hour increments every second or your name will be erased somehow. There is no one in the waiting area to assist. When you do get a staff member, they appear to be disinterest in assisting. You're better off going to another lab. read more

The office was so nice, clean, and peaceful. When I arrived there were 3 people ahead of me. The nurses were taking them quickly, I didn't have to wait long at all. I had Anna as my nurse. She was very quick in taking the blood which made me feel at ease. Because I get so nervous with needles. She made me feel very comfortable, I was so happy I had her as my nurse. I Had my blood drawn Dec 12, 2019 in the morning.There are still no results on Dec 20, 2019 night. It does not even show that I had kept the appointment. Also My doctors lab work orders of Dec 5, 2019 were not picked up even though the technician (no name tag visible) on Dec.12 stated my doctor was registered in the computer and she took my paper rx from my doctor for all the tests he ordered. In addition on Dec 12 there was chaos at the blood drawing site. Per the technician (no name tag visible) there was a new booking system that forced them to see more patients per hour but it was not allowing any of the many patients with appointments to scan in. Everyone was waiting more than an hour past their appointment time. I had many, many tubes of blood drawn and there were printed labels with my name on it. Left a message on their website and then realized that there is no proof of my compliant. You can only write a message on their website or call by phone Monday-Friday but neither way gives you proof of their negligence. After more than 8 days I have no idea where my blood tests are. I am sure the blood is hemolyzed by now and the test results would not be accurate. These tests were repeat follow up tests due to poor values the first time. I hope I'm not worst. Or should I believe any results from this understaffed, poorly run lab company. read more

The nurse name Anna has attitude problem. My baby is 1 year old for the blood test. She is impatient and very rude to us.

The lab technicians are polite. The place is spotless. Less good-- waiting time. The lab is convenient to my home and has valet parking. It also accepts my insurance. However I've had to wait upwards of two hours. This is true if I have an appointment. If I don't. If I'm dropping a sample off. Or if I need blood drawn. I don't understand how a place so busy could be so understaffed. There are unused floors in the building. Perhaps they could expand?! read more

I have had blood drawn many times and never had a problem. I went to quest labs in Francis Lewis and the guy hit a nerve in my arm. I told him my arm felt like it was on fire as if he was injecting me with acid. He said " I'm almost done" and continued to hold the needle and draw blood as I was in excruciating pain. Almost 5 months later I still have pain and went to a neurologist who said I have nerve damage. Stay away from this place. read more
