I'll save you some time, just don't come here. I arrived with two people ahead of me, nobody from the office up front, and a lone iPad to check in with. After checking in, the person in first was called. "This is going to be quick" I thought! Around 30 minutes later and lots of complaining from the number two person who's name disappeared from the screen, they take her in. 20 minutes later (total of 50 minutes waiting) my name is called. Annoyed with the wait, I still tried to think, maybe they'll be fine! After all, it's just drawing blood. And this is where they fell to a one star. The woman who helped me looked miserable and didn't say much, and after finishing up two vials said ok you're good to go. In my boredom in the waiting room I had looked at my prescription and said oh, no urinalysis? She said no but slowly walked over to the computer. "Oops, there is urine and I have to take another vial of blood" .... Uhhhhh ok. So she takes it from my right arm, then puts a DIFFERENT bandage on it than my left. Left was a bandaid, right was masking tape? Tells me to pee and bring it back, which I do but the room is empty. As I'm standing there pee in hand I hear her say to another patient, go into room 2. I was in room 2. So I put it down, pass the new patient coming in and asked if I can leave that on the desk, to which she tells me again that yes I'm all set. Shitty wait time is one thing, but when I have to tell the person to double check what tests I'm getting for a physical, my trust level drops to zero. Slow service, miserable employees, and poor quality. Just go somewhere else.

I needed to find out which Sunrise Medical Laboratories location performs a specialized laboratory test. This is not something listed clearly online, and I wanted to avoid driving from one walk-in location to another. There appears to be no effective customer service. Every phone number I found, including those listed for customer service, routed me to the billing department. The billing representatives were polite and genuinely tried to help, but they could only provide the phone numbers for individual facilities. Unfortunately, no one answered at the facilities I called. I wasn't asking for medical advice or test results, just a simple yes-or-no question: "Does your location perform this test?" Patients should not have to spend hours calling unanswered numbers or driving from place to place just to find where a test is available. The billing staff deserves credit for trying to assist. My disappointment is with the lack of accessible customer service and the inability to reach the individual laboratory locations. I hope Sunrise Medical Laboratories improves communication so patients can obtain basic information without unnecessary frustration. Your review focuses on your firsthand experience and avoids speculation, making it stronger and more credible. It also acknowledges that the billing staff was helpful while explaining the broader customer service problem.

We had to have routine bloodwork done so I scheduled an appointment here for pediatric blood draw. I brought my first here two years ago and we were in and out within 5 minutes. No poking around her arm, no crying. Nothing. I brought my second here yesterday and I will NEVER come back again. First, she couldn't find a vein. I watched her try and get one to come up but there was nothing there. I saw her grab the needle and I said you see one? Because I definitely didn't. She says yes then grabs my babies arm. Baby started to cry before the needle went in then she literally stabs my baby in the arm WITHOUT finding a vein. She then lifts the needle up in her arm and I said are you supposed to do that? Then she proceeds to move the needle from side to side like she was fishing for a vein. I said stop! We're done here. Made her remove the needle and stood up to get the hell out of there. She puts on a bandaid and gives me my insurance card and script. I am extremely angry, upset and sickened that I had to subject my baby to that horrible experience when we couldn't even give any blood. Our pediatrician said if they have to poke more than once then they don't know what they're doing and leave immediately. That's exactly what I did and we will never be back. This place is not equipped for children like it used to be.
