The best thing I can say is it was easy to get an appointment and the phlebotomist was very understanding and quick. Unfortunately there was almost no communication ahead of time from Quest. I didn't know I had to show up with my lab order printed (no way to upload it into their system? Nope). Luckily there was a print shop open a few doors down. Okay, no problem, I go print it and bring it back and wait. The sample hemolyzed, meaning the red blood cells exploded and the sample is not be usable. I understand this happens sometimes, apparently due to issues with drawing techniques or problems during sample transport, but Quest made no attempt to communicate this to me. Instead I was stuck on a "waiting for results" screen for weeks (should have resulted in 2-3 days) and my ordering doctor couldn't even see the test in the system. Online help was useless. I had to call to speak with an agent and only then did I learn the results will never appear because the test couldn't be run on the sample. And then they wouldn't even refund me the cost of the test, just said to come back in to have it drawn again LOL. I would stay away from Quest in general. Not a user friendly system. It was an unclear and confusing process and I'm comfortable with technology and following directions for tests like this. If you do manage to get a useable sample drawn, the staff were all lovely. read more

At first glance the waiting area was packed and I was worried my visit was not going to be on time. The manger "Crystal" weaved in and out of the door way checking on everyone one making sure they checked in correctly, that they had their insurance info in the portal and made sure the flow of patients was continuous. I still don't completely understand the wait in your car for the text appointment system - but I did make an appointment ahead of time. Glad I have this location so close by. I had an appointment at 3:40 and I will admit I got to the clinic late (3:52pm) because I left work later than anticipated which I take full accountability for. When I got to the door it was already locked however a patient and a worker was coming to the door. I tried to explain to the worker that I needed my bloodwork done for an upcoming infusion I have and apologize for being late but before I could fully explain she cut me off said they were closed, closed the door in my face and walked away. Now I'm writing this because I understand and acknowledge that I was late, however on the clinic door it said they close at 4:00pm and it was not that time yet. I hate to be that person that goes to anywhere minutes before the closing time, but I really did need my bloodwork done. Had she been more understanding and just explained that they're all getting ready to close and they're not able to see me, I would've understood. But the way she was to me was very rude and unprofessional, I just think it could've been handled differently. read more

I want to thank Giselle. She was one of the best people who has treated me in all the times I have gone to have my blood drawn at Quest Diagnostic. Located at 3401 S Congress Ave, Ste 107 in Palm Springs, I went there for the first time because I always go to the one on Lakeworth Rd., and she made my experience a good one. She is a kind, professional, helpful person with an expert hand at taking my vein the first time. While her supervisor was observing her work and telling her to move forward, she maintained her professionalism and her delicacy to draw my blood and I don't know how she did it because her supervisor had me nervous with her harassment and bad mood, which is what I see very often at the Lakeworth quest, that's why I decided to try another to see if my experience would be better and it was thanks to this girl Giselle but definitely not to her two supervisors and I know that they are supervisors because the harassment was so great that I couldn't contain myself and I asked her permission who those two women are, I know that this happens a lot at Quest Diagnostic, I hope someone does something to change this and they use as an example the professional and loving treatment of this girl Giselle who unfortunately I can't say her last name because I don't know her, it's the first time she sees me and I was so satisfied with her that I had to ask her her name. Hello I had appointment on 8/5 at 8:20am on 3401 S Congress Ave Suite 107, Palm Springs, FL 3346. I went there and I was in the line for almost 2 hours. Finally my turn; and one lady took me inside and poke me 5 times to find my vein. She couldn't find. She called her coworker Amica and she did 5 more times. Finally she took my blood test. She said or sarcastic way please put some ice when you get home, you will get some bruise. I came home my hand was blue and I received the call from this number +1 (561) 596-1953 and it was from Amica, she said that my blood turned bad and I have to repeat next Saturday. She said that I don't need appointment, she will leave the message to lady name America and she will take care of me. Again, fasting for second time, one more nightmare, I went there following Saturday, I saw the nurse calling people and I try to explain here situation from pervious Saturday and I just came to repeat my test because it wasn't my fault. She didn't even want to talk to me, she blow me away, she said I don't know who called you but without appointment you are not getting inside. I was shocked she said look all this ppl all of them go first and then you ,when we do not have more appointments. I felt so disappointed, almost start crying, fasting for 15 hours again and felt that will pass out, but who cares, they are following their appointments. Finally after an hour I got inside, try to explain situation and showed receipt from last Saturday and told that been poke for 10 times and if she can use other hand. She start laughing and telling me 'I will never let anyone poke me 10 times'. I told her do I have choice in which hands I will get when I arrive there, all kids work in this location. I ask her what is your name mam? She said Shaila but I don't work here, I got little bit surprise If you are here you are working for Quest, doesn't mean from witch location they send you for. if I could give zero stars I would, please tell your doctor to send you somewhere else, if you are showing up voluntarily for your own sake go somewhere else. These people are rude, they have zero costumer service skills or human relations. You can't speak with them over the phone, can barely make an appt online and in person there's nobody who can help you. they have a kiosk and the people who work there are locked in a room. So rudee!!! refusing to see you or even speak to you for a question. Even with an apt they make you wait more than 40 minutes +. They need to replace the whole staffs in order for them to gain better reviews. Horrible experience read more

On August 3, 2020, I went to Quest Diagnostics in Palm Springs to have routine blood work for my Rheumatoid Arthritis condition. When I arrived at the office, two patients arrived before me to sign-in using the tablet. When it was my turn to sign-in, I politely asked the employee, Jamilla, if she can disinfect tablet's screen to ensure my safety and to minimize risks posed by bacteria and germs, including Coronavirus. She replied bluntly that they do not disinfect the screens between patients' check-ins and said to use the hand sanitizer instead. I am concerned about my safety because the office's visitor's temperatures are not taken before they use the screen. After I checked in, I chose the option to receive a text message while I waited outside. After I received the text message, I went back and told Jamilla that I received the text message. She rudely responded, "YOU WEREN'T HERE WHEN I CALLED YOU, AND YOU NOW HAVE TO WAIT!" This employee of yours speaks to patients in a manner that is not accepted, and she is not the only one. Every time I visit the Palm Springs, Florida's office, half of the employees at the front desk are disrespectful, and this type of behavior should not be tolerated at a place of business. I am due for another blood work, and I will hope to have a positive experience. read more

It's a Saturday and I have labs that I needed done. Last time I came to this location was in June and it was a walk-in appointment. Everyone was very kind at this time. Fast forward to now, in November... I just came out of there to see if I can get a walk-in and when I went to ask a question, the person at the front (Afro latina woman), had a disgusting attitude. When I asked her if she was OK she started shaking her head and rolling her eyes and pointing her fingers all over the place acting very nasty and unprofessional. I don't appreciate how quest keeps putting incompetent people in position of their healthcare business. This is coming from a Latina herself! I walked in and was greeted by this woman who was extremely rude. The computers were down, again, and when a man with his elderly mother was checking in to ask how much labs would cost since he was paying cash, he was told to walk in again another time. He was upset but was not rude, just a little loud. The same woman came out and started screaming at him and told him to not come back because she would not serve him. It takes true professionals to work in the medical field and she is not professional at all. This place is absolutely horrible and I would recommend any other location. I walked into Quest without an appointment on a Saturday, praying they could fit me in. The woman at the front desk was very nice and worked with me since someone had cancelled. I did not wait long which was wonderful. I was processed quickly into the system and called back for bloodwork. I was surprised to see the girls who compete your registration are also performing your blood/Covid testing. These woman have a lot on their plate and I hope Quest recognizes that. Words cannot describe my frustration with Quest. I had an acute medical issue and needed labwork ASAP. I went to four facilities that were listed as taking walk-Ins and had a wait time listed. At every one, I checked in and waited. Then someone came out and said they didn't take walk in's. I tried calling all beforehand and was always taken to a generic answering machine. I broke down sobbing at one of the facilities and the staff member showed no compassion other than to tell me she highly doubts I'm actually having an emergency. Finally I found a LabCorps that saw me right away and treated me kindly. read more

Reviews scared me but I needed blood work since my annual Dr. appt was virtual this year because of COVID. I have to say the experience FAR exceeded my expectations. I made a 9:15am appointment online (tried calling first, but cumbersome phone directory). I got a text the morning of the appointment. I clicked the link in that text when I parked. Then I got another text telling me to go in. I went inside and a few people were in line, but I heard someone yell my name and I was buzzed into the back, skipping the line. I provided ID, waited 2 minutes, and then was called for my blood draw. The whole process was less than 10 minutes. It was great! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I went here 6 months pregnant for glucose testing. My first impression was the nurses were addressing the very full waiting room entirely in Spanish. Don't get me wrong, I think it is amazing to having bilingual phlebotomists, however when the waiting room is filled with elderly patients who don't know Spanish, many people were having to translate to them that the wait time was 3 hours. This is not even an issue compared to what I'm about to say. First, the phlebotomist told me my first blood draw was going to "hurt really bad and to take a deep breath". As someone who is 6 months pregnant I've had a lot of blood draws and found that very odd? For my last two blood draws she told me the same thing and then said "I'm going to bruise you very badly so just be prepared" also a very strange thing to say??? PS there was no bruise. Here is the worst of it all: I was sent for the 3 hour glucose test. A proper procedure happens in this order: have a fasting blood draw and drink a glucose drink, then have another blood draw after an hour, and a third blood draw after 2 hours. The phlebotomist did the entire procedure incorrectly. She did not take my fasting blood as she is supposed to which messed up my entire test. The next day a nurse calls me to tell me I have gestational diabetes. Luckily, I had a doctors appointment a week later. The doctor took one look at my lab report and said that the phlebotomist mixed up my 3 vials of blood draws and I do not have gestational diabetes. If they're mixing up vials, have a staff that makes rude comments to patients, what else are they doing? I wish zero stars was an option. read more

11-14-19 Watch your credit cards at this place. My wife went to have blood work done about 10-20-19 . She paid with a credit card the clerk took her card, she didn't use the chip. Maybe they don't have a chip enabled machine. Couple days later she noticed a $650.00 charge to her account for auto parts from NJ. We didn't think anything about it and we made no connection to Quest at this time, the bank was cool and we got our money back. A couple days later a check cashing store owner shows up to our address with a bunch of checks from, (we will call him "the dude") that bounced at his check cashing store with the dude name and our address. That was weird. Couple days later a credit card shows up in our mailbox with the dude and our address. We called the cops and filed a police report. Last week we get a bank statement to our address with the dude's name on it. Today another check cashing store owner shows up at our door with more bounced check from the dude. Now I'm mad. I did a google search of the dude, only one name popped up in West Palm Beach. I clicked on the name and guess what he lives in Wellington and he works at..................wait for it. QUEST DIAGNOSTICS Since the dude is using our address we figure he is coming by our house to check our mail box. We have set up cameras and maybe we will get lucky and catch this guy on candid camera. I can't be 100% sure that the dude is guilty, but the coincidences are just to great to ignore and should be investigated. Stealing mail is a federal offence. We called Quest Palm Springs and expressed our concerns and ask if this guy worked there but they put us on hold and never came back on the line after being on hold an hour, hence this post. I went in according to my appointment time . Checked in did paperwork after 5mins I was called in! So scared to have my blood drawn since it has always been a difficult procedure with multiple tries! But Marie did it on first try effortlessly (luckily I kept my mouth shut about being a difficult case) Also I didn't know I was there for urinalysis as well! Jamillia @ Palm Springs office was so helpful. I know that staff is under pressure (small waiting room) the computer sign-in very confusing to some. I actually helped an elderly man today try to sign- in. In my opinion if the staff would smile more and look you in the eye while you are talking to them and explain the wait time vs. people that made appointments their Yelp ratings would be much higher. My mother (79y/o) went to drop off a sample for my father. She was told she did not need an appointment to drop it off. They checked in and were ignored for the next hour. Jamilla left my mom sitting there and completely ignored her. When my mom asked her if she could just drop off, she started yelling at her and told her that my mom's English was bad. At this point there were other patients in the waiting room, she humiliated my mom. Jamilla took the sample from her and continued to yell. My mom asked her name and she refused to identify herself. She was not wearing a name badge. My mom was so upset she called me crying. At this point another quest employee came out and told my mom not to be upset. She said Jamilla treats people badly all the time. She is the one that gave us Jamilla's name. I got on the phone with her and asked if there was a supervisor. She advised me they don't have one and are looking to fill the position. With all the unemployed people out there can't Quest find someone with better customer service skills. read more

I changed locations of Quest after having bad service at the Burns location. This time I reviewed all my medical tests to see if insurance and medicare will cover these tests. I was assured that all tests were covered. Then I got a bill from Quest that I owed an additional $400. I paid the bill off and vowed never to be back.
