She double checked the prescription that I brought with the one in the system. She patiently checked my veins and chose the better arm/vein. In and out, it was quick. Checking in is through your phone and you can wait in your car as they'll text you when to go in. There is limited space to sit inside so that was a convenient option. The location is accessible and clean. They were having tech difficulties so the two check-in kiosks were down and there are no attendants to help with questions (no window/desk). You have to wait until a worker goes to the lobby to ask. Regardless the technicians inside were cordial and professional. Experience was fine. I made an appointment ahead of time and checked in online from my car. I waited in the car for some time because I had arrived early and read about the limited seating. About 10 minutes before my appointment time, I made my way inside and saw my name on the screen. I did not get called in until about 10 minutes after my scheduled time. Once inside I was quickly treated. The phlebotomist confirmed what my physician had ordered and was able to draw my blood quickly and easily. Results were available online a week later. read more

Twice now I've gone in after messing up my own appointments through Function and they've been so kinda and accommodating! If you go early morning it's typically pretty empty; it's an easy location to get early morning appointments for or to be a walk in. Both times I've had issues (that were my own fault), Ismary (I think that's how it's spelled) in the waiting area has been so helpful. On both occasions I got my blood draw by May and she was fantastic--super nice, quick and efficient. Despite having a different Quest center a minute from my house, I will always choose this location for future appointments. 10/10 read more

Just had to drop off a sample of my daughter's poo and they don't have anyone to talk to. They just got some kiosks and a tv repeating the same bullshyt over and over. Already costumer service is garbage. The kiosk has a tab for dropping off specimen only button and I'm like ok, perhaps this will be quick. Nope, some lady from the back comes and tells out "anyone have a drop off" I get excited for no reason because she says that you have to make a walk in appointment What's the fuhking point then These places that don't really have a reason to offer good costumer service just do not give a fuhk read more

Make sure to make an appointment when coming here unless you necessarily need to walk-in. I have waited for hours as a walk in. Today, with an appointment already made was much, much easier and faster! The staff is really nice, they are courteous and for the most part the phlebotomist are very competent. I have come here many times to get my blood work done and never had any issues except the wait but without an appointment. I do not recommend this location at all (Dadeland area). They require you to give them a credit card to charge you for the labs or else they will not proceed with your lab order when other Quest Diagnostics do not require you to give them a credit card because they know that you will be billed by Quest for the correct amount you owe, and they are rude about it. I later called Quest main number, and I was told that I did not have to give them a credit card in order to proceed with the lab order especially when there is no outstanding amount due. Some facilities may require it when there are balances due from unpaid services, not if your account is up to date. read more

Everything needs to be improved from scheduling- to lack of communication. My appointment was scheduled on line, when I checked in the computer pushed the appointment for an hour later. Place is dirty, warm/barely air conditioned. Patients in a crowded waiting room and people in their cell phones on speaker setting and some conversations are less than desired with curse words. Went as a walk in at 12, and folks had been there since 8am, and they hadn't called a single walk in. 25 walk-ins were in line. And to get any assistance you had to hunt down an employee that would open the door to call the next appointment. Everything needs improvement. Check in process is completely self service. The people who I've seen need help do not even have a single person to ask. Plus there are only 2 checking machines, one of them is broken. The line is insane! There is not even enough space for people to sit and wait for their turn. Standing room only, also limited so people are standing outside. Don't even bother going without an appointment. The girl is literally telling the standby patients that they probably won't be able to get to them today. Many have been waiting over an hour. People with appointments have been waiting for 45 minutes. Don't forget your lab paperwork or you will have to come back. This place is always the same, it is run terribly. Once I went in I remembered that the lab techs also do the paperwork which is I am sure why the process takes so long. The system here is totally inefficient. Total wait time for me today WITH AN APPOINTMENT was 45 minutes. LAB CORP runs circles around this place. read more

At 11:20 am they registered me for a test and made me wait, fasting, until 1:15, the manager come out to tell me and others in the waiting room that they cannot attend to us because they leave at 2:00 and only They have 3 people to draw blood. Horrible . The first time I got there I waited over 45 minutes, even though I made an appointment and then I was told that they did not have the kind of test that I had ordered. I made a second appointment at a different location this one which is a hour away from my home and I got there 12 minutes late and my appointment was canceled because I was 10 minutes late. . I tried to reach out to the company website and call them to ensure that they had the kind of test I needed. I received one email indicating that someone would get back to me and no one did. I will not use quest again because you can never get customer service. A total waste of time. read more

I have scheduled several appointments to get blood work at The Dadeland Quest lab. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never waited for longer than ten minutes. The facility is clean. Shakara is my go to flibotomist. She has a good sense of humor and she is fast and competent. I have not had a bruise anytime she takes my blood. I don't know how she does it, because I have thin skin and bruise easily. I highly recommend Quest labs. read more

SMOOTH PROCESS! (S. Dixie Hwy location) Got there 7mins prior to my 'APPOINTMENT' (key word), checked-in via text & was called I'm 6mins after. Now, I made it a point to observe this whole process since I had read extremely bad reviews and was hesitant but I felt comfortable since Quest had been sending me emails confirming my upcoming "APPOINTMENT". As I proceeded towards the back & was checking in w/the admin person (which was friendly), I asked if everyone that was in the waiting area had appointment. She informed me that unfortunately no, they did not have an appointment which explains why their wait time was taking long. As I was escorted to the next room, I had the pleasure of meeting "Lucy" which was super sweet & AMAZING locating my vein & was done within 3mins. I also asked her some questions regarding the bad reviews & she confirmed that it is recommended to make a APPOINTMENT & we were done! As I proceeded to leave as I was walking out, a lady waiting in the waiting area had asked me at what time my appt was which was probably because she saw me getting there & not having to wait long for my appt. I felt bad tbh. My final outcome is: I recommend to ‼MAKE AN APPOINTMENT‼ instead of just walking in. 1 more thing, bathrooms were also very clean! It was a weird experience. I camein without an appointment with my lunch as I knew it would take a while. For the first 23 minutes there was no activity. No one going in or out. Being that I'm a slow eater I really didn't care I was like 14th on the screen. (when one signs in, their name shows up on the tv queue with approximate time) An irate woman came out complaining on behalf us. She said that in the second waiting room she had to wait 15 extra minutes and it was wrong that the times on the queue isn't truthful as her friend's name isn't on the queue anymore while she was still in the first waiting room. She ranted for a full 2 minutes. 4 minutes after she left 6 people came out. 2 wishing the waiting room luck. Then 5 people were called in. I don't know if wwheni came in they were on lunch and just didn't say anything. I was just surprised at the lack of activity for the first 30 minutes. When I was finally called in I was met with Adelaida. She was friendly and in her first try got the vein. (My veins usually roll or collapse) I was done in 3 minutes! I don't know where they dropped the ball in the beginning but the phlebotomists that work here are fabulously professional! read more

What an unprofessional mess. I showed up early for my appt and checked in through the kiosk, since the check-in link Quest texted my phone didn't work. There were 25 angry people waiting in a lobby with inadequate air conditioning and not enough seats. Some had been there for hours past their appointment times, others were walk-ins just desperate to be seen and waiting it out. There is no receptionist or greeter, no visible staff, and Quest feels no responsibility to honor patients' appt times or be courteous or proficient in any part of their transactions. The technicians are rude and inexperienced. Expect to be pricked multiple times. They have random hours. Online it says that they are open every day except Sunday. I'm not the best at getting my blood drawn but she was great and I'm grateful for that. Schedule an appointment in advance to make your wait only a few minutes versus a walk in appointment. This was actually one of the most pleasant quest experiences I've ever had. I did not have an appointment and had to do a drug screening. I got there at 9am and checked in on their new iPads. There were about four people sleep there before me. 3 of them got called in fairly quickly. Then 2 other people walked in and the got called in immediately. I hadn't noticed right away but there was a TV in the waiting room that told you what number you were in line. At that point it told me I was 3rd. But then the next nurse came to call someone and surprisingly it was me. Amalia was very nice and quickly attended to me. From the second I walked through the doors and checked in to the second I walked out finished with the drug screen took about 45 minutes. This is the nicest most efficient location I have ever been to. Every single person is helpful and goes out of their way to help you even when they're short staffed. They run a tight ship, all appointments are called on time, waiting is very limited. I had a great experience today with yaimi, I am terrified of needles and she helped me and made me feel at ease. Awful. I went in for a drug test at NOON on a wednesday... they have drug collections until 2pm (according to the site and their door signs) and they sent me away.
