My appointment was set for 11am, waited for about 15 mins, which was not acceptable but have no choice. I am using my work time to come to this appointment. I understand waiting about 5 minutes or so, but longer than that is not appreciated. Other than that, everything went smoothly and the technician was very nice. Took good care when taking my bloodwork and checking me in.

She was by herself since 7 am, we got…read morethere around 8:45 (made appt on line for 9:15) but first time there so we wanted to check the place out. There were around 10 people waiting...maybe 7 that needed to have blood drawn. Axa made the announcement that she was the only one there and please have patience. We did what we were told and signed in on the kiosk...we were seen around 9:20.... You could see Axa running back and forth between paperwork, computer work and blood to draw...I watched carefully as she was very thorough making sure to change her gloves. She told us she is part time, but that were short staffed, she was asked to work the whole day, and she is even though her daughter was in the hospital, we didn't asked what for because she was very busy on the computer. She did your work fast and thorough indeed. Now for the bad, very bad part....the place was a mess, and did not seem very clean. TV there and not on, very cold and she even commented on it that we could wait outside for a bit. There was a little office desk by the wall/window that had this big blue plastic container ...:not sure what the heck it was, but there was a clear liquid coming out of it, and it just looked very dirty right next to the blood draw room. Lab Corp should be ashamed of themselves for having a or ANY facility looking like this...shame, shame on you, your higher ups and company owners which I am positive to be only out for the ole mighty $$$$$. No respect for hard workers. I get that you have to let people go that don't obey your work policies BUT HAVE A DAMN BACK UP PLAN SO YOU DO NOT LOSE YOUR GOOD WORKERS. The 2 stars are only for Axa.

They said no just come in and drop it off. Ok I come, and realize I'm #6 on the walk in list with 11 scheduled appointments. Another walk in said she's been waiting for an hour, and at this point I've been there 30 min. So I knew being after her and with other appointments coming in that I needed to speak up and let them know I'm just here for a drop off, as I was told. One of the workers in front of everyone tries to make it seem like I'm just an impatient person hoping to cut the line. Constantly repeating "Well other people have been waiting longer than you" as well as "If you don't want to wait you needed to make an appointment". Regardless of me reiterating that I was told by them that I didn't need one. If I would've been told the right information, of course I would've made an appointment. A proper response would've been "I apologize for the incorrect information you were told, but unfortunately you do have to wait." Instead of making it seem like it's my fault I was told wrong information and in front of people trying to pin me out to be impatient. Of course I'm frustrated in knowing I'll wait over an hour to something that I was told would be in and out. Had I have gotten a nicer response, I'd wait no problem mistakes happen and there'd be no reason to write this.

I on the other hand had been going to another lab due to its location. Due to my medical history I need to get my INR checked averaging 2x a month. After I retired with my wifes urging I decided to try this facility. I have to agree with my wife. There have been times I've had other phlebotomists at this facility but hands down Tammy is best at doing her job. She doesn't cut corners and is very professional. You can trust her to provide a safe, sanitary and enjoyable experience.
