I am so thankful and grateful to have a physician who truly cares about her patients. I trust her 100% with my health and my parents' health. Her bedside manners are wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Lee! The staff is caring as well and there aren't long waits which I hate when going to a doctor. She always tries her best to get to the bottom of our health issues because she cares deeply about our well being.

Or not, whatever, congrats on your decisiveness, but that is definitely what I was thinking after bouncing from doctor to doctor for the past few years. I was worried that I might make the commitment and then regret it. I didn't understand how Dr. Cho could be that much better than other doctors. Oh my god that was stupid. Dr. Cho is SO much better than other doctors. She thinks, she asks great questions, she listens, she explains, she cares! Try to imagine a doctor who does all of that really well. Like, imagine just a really stand out ideal doctor, the doctor that you really hope you will meet if you go for One Medical group. Are you imagining? Good. That doctor you are imagining sucks compared to Dr. Cho. The difference is that Dr. Cho doesn't just care about her patients. She cares about her job. Deeply and to the point that it is obvious within minutes of meeting her (or I don't know, can someone fake that? I don't think so). So as a great doctor, with a team of great doctors around her, she probably has spent a lot of time, her life really, thinking about how to be the best doctor. Way more than you or I have spent. So she knows far more than we do about what a great doctor should do. That means that when you go to the office and see Dr. Cho there are so many things being done to make your visit go perfectly that you won't even notice or understand them all. You just have a great experience. Then, what, I guess you sit down and think about it and try to explain it on Yelp and realize that you are under-qualified to explain why the experience was so great but you really want other people to know. So... yeah, all of that. I guess its time for you to stop vacillating and make an appointment.

The entire team here are professional and deliver top notch performance. The front desk staff are spot on and just accommodating, the check out experience is accurate and fast paced. The office layout is spacious and immaculate. I can't say enough about Dr. Levy who has treated my mom's aneurysm for 10 years and there is complete trust in his capabilities. All in all a consistently great experience.

He actually said "oh, you'll feel better after surgery!" - I told him not to sign the surgery consent until they addressed his pain, they finally called in a few days of Tylenol 3s which made no sense to me as he was already taking extra strength Tylenol without relief. I get that there's an opioid problem, but when you're in tears and cannot walk from a massive hole in your leg, then you get surgery to have a wound vac installed, don't you think that warrants SOMETHING? Of course the Tylenol 3s didn't provide any relief, we went through several sleepless nights, at his follow up 3 days later, still complained of terrible pain but was told there was nothing they could do. The hole in his leg looks like a shark took a bite out of it and there's a machine attached constantly applying pressure! The hole measures 8cmx6cmx6cm - NOT SMALL!! Again, competent doctor but very impatient and dismissive, cuts you off, horrible bedside manner. He's at least 75 years old (doesn't look it from all the plastic surgery he's gotten), and I really think when you start to be so jaded you treat your patients like that, it's time to retire.

I love her current nurse Melissa. She's very patient. She really has it tough dealing with pharmacies. I've witnessed it first hand. Doctor Tulpan has exhibited ongoing training, and modernization of her practice since I've been coming to her. She can focus on her specialty even more by affiliating with NYU Langone. NYU Langone takes all kinds of insurance. Some insurance companies are very difficult to deal with. NYU 'My Chart' offers on line access to your health records. It's a great system easily navigable. I get reminders by email of appointment dates and times. I can view my patient visit summary immediately after my appointment. My test results, family History, allergies and more are located in one file. You can screenshot insurance cards to enter them. I love the website. For all the forms required I'm provided with a iPad to read the forms and sign electronically. I can access everything I sign in my chart. So modern. I was also offered facial recognition and hand scan. I declined. I provided them with a photo ID for my file. In my opinion that's enough! I'm not one to go to the doctor for every little thing. It is obvious to me that Doctor Tulpan keeps up with the latest patient treatment in her field. I do know that she realizes I take my life and wellness serious. After all, you are putting your life in someone else's care when you go to the doctor. She understands we all have family and friends. They ask about our health and how our visit to the doctor went. It took me a few years to finally feel confident that she understands my health issues. At this point I would be devastated if she left Manhattan! I realize how many things are beyond the doctors control. Insurance rules, State, and Federal Legislation, and more, all complicate treatment plans and the progress of treatment services. She is open with me about her processes while providing my medical treatment. I appreciate that greatly. I've never received Lab results as quickly as I have since she has been using the latest equipment. She is the only doctor I have had in years that calls me herself to report my test results. If I had been told what she was contemplating - a neck MRI - I would have had the ensuing argument right there in her office. When her employee called to advise that the insurance company had approved the MRI, I thought it was a mistake as I'd had one a month previously. I told the employee that I'd had a neck MRI already (ordered by a different doctor). I wasn't eager to have another one; it was stressful. She put Dr. Tulpan on and she gaslighted me. She told me I was "confused", that I hadn't had a neck MRI. You don't get confused about MRIs. They're pretty distinctive. Nothing else is an MRI. I was shocked that she didn't believe me. Turned out that the imaging center had only sent the radiology report to the neurologist who ordered the first MRI and Dr. Tulpan didn't have the report so she assumed I was "confused." I wouldn't see her again if she were the last doctor on the planet.

Said she would write me a prescription for an antibiotic to my local pharmacy. This all happened at approximately 11:30 am. I went to pick up my prescription at approximately 7:30 pm. Pharmacy never received the script. I called Circle Urgent Care & they apologized for not having sent the script. I asked the woman on the phone please make sure the script is sent before we hang up. She assured me it left. I was then told once again the pharmacy never received the script. I called Circle Care again they answered "Circle Care Please Hold" for 7 minutes, then the pharmacist said give me the # & I will call. I finally walked out with my prescription at 8:25 pm. The way I was treated was unnecessarily disrespectful. I will not return to that Urgent Care on Victory Blvd.

I signed up for an annual physical, during which I had my blood drawn. I received quite a shock when I received the bill. In addition to charges for the physical and blood draw, I received charges for a second office visit, an after hours visit, and a mental health assessment, none of which I consented to. I called the billing office and asked for an explanation. They said the after hours charge was because my visit was at 5 p.m. The mental health assessment because I filled out a paper mental health form (which was never discussed with me). And the second office visit because I asked the doctor a few questions about my health. I explained that I had never consented to these extra services. They removed the after hours charge "as a courtesy" (like they're doing me a favor or something), but said the other charges stood and that my consent was not necessary. It took three and a half months and six phone calls, but finally the billing office agreed to the drop the charge for the second office visit, again "as a courtesy." One false charge remains, but I'm not contesting it because insurance covered the full cost. In any case, I certainly won't return to this medical office, and I urge everyone else to avoid it as well.

I went after an absolute nightmare experience at Lenox Hill Radiology. (Stay away from that place.) NYU was the opposite. I was fully informed about everything from the get-go. I was treated with care, respect, and courtesy. A breast surgeon took time with me, explained what was going on in my body. And then I had a biopsy on the spot with an equally informative group--radiologist, pathologist (who gave me the good results right away, in less than 10 minutes), a tech, and a nurse. This is the way compassionate, patient-centered care should be done everywhere, but unfortunately that is not the case. This was a joyful experience, not only because I learned that the alarms set off at Lenox Hill were without merit, but because of the way I was truly cared for and respected; the assumption was that I am intelligent enough to be told about what is going in my body. I recommend this place and people highly.
